| Pros | Helps with red marks brings cysts to a head faster seems to help prevent new zits |
|---|---|
| Cons | kinda stinky (but I'm used to it) have to use consistently may cause minor IB |
| Bottom line | So far, so good. I use the Spectrum organics raw unfiltered kind. I apply 1/2 water, 1/2 ACV plus 2-3 drops of Tea Tree Oil toner to my face 2x daily, Also, I make a poultice of the toner on flat cotton pads and let it sit on my problem areas for 10-20 minutes. It helps to flatten and heal pustules and cysts. I have had a couple new spots spring up in the 10 days I've been using it but it may just be bringing clogged pores to the surface. I read on the message boards that this helps you restore your skin's acid mantle. I'm a believer. |

| Pros | Cleared moderately bad back acne fast. If you have bacne give this will work great! Seemed to work on face at first (cleared forehead) really nice. Makes your skin feel soft |
|---|---|
| Cons | Regular apple cider vinegar has a strong smell when applied, but it goes away after a couple minutes when it dries. No big deal. Organic apple cider vinegar on the other hand smells very putrid, almost a bad body odor smell. The smell lingers around even after it dries. It also didn't leave my face looking as nice when applied (more of an oily look). I used this organic stuff for about a week (got more zits with it) and then went back to regular acv. |
| Bottom line | Alright so I've been on all kinds of dermatologist prescribed drugs which simply didn't work. I stumbled across apple cider vinegar on the internet and decided to research it. I found a lot of people claiming this was the product that "cured" their acne. My hopes were very high. I bought some regular apple cider vinegar at the store and started applying it topically 2 times daily. I also bought apple cider vinegar pills and took them 3 times daily because I heard these were key to clear skin. The vinegar applied topically seemed to work at first; I thought I found my miracle cure! I still got zits, but nothing like I had got before. I gave it time and stuck to my routine feeling like my skin would eventually be clear. However the one thing I noticed throughout the process was that I was getting more lesion like pimples (the big red ones that form underneath the skin) than before. So right now it is the fifth week of this treatment and I am deciding to get back on my meds (doxycycline). I'm still going to use the apple cider vinegar as a toner but I feel like it is not a cure all by itself. I feel the acv worked great the first couple of weeks but these huge lesion zits are just killing it for me. I'm hoping my prescribed meds can help in combination with acv. However, it worked great on my back acne (which was pretty bad) so I'm really thankful I found a solution for that! |

| Pros | when used with mint julep clay as a spot treat it is truly a miracle!!!!!! |
|---|---|
| Cons | this alone does nothing alone but irritate and break me out in cysts. |
| Bottom line | Please add a small drop of acv to a small amount of mint julep clay and mix...apply to a pimple(doesn't always work on those deep ones) and apply to the pimple. It will completely clear up the pimple within a few hours, it never fails me and both products are soo cheap! |

| Pros | Cheap, and you can find it anywhere Skin feels very clean |
|---|---|
| Cons | The scent It can burn a bit on dry/broken skin |
| Bottom line | I use it as an astringent twice daily...and I haven't had any problems. Granted, it's not a cure-all, but it hasn't made my skin any worse. |

| Pros | Really Inexpensive - Make sure to get the Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with 5-7% acidity. I use Braggs. Works for a variety of other ailments Dried Cyst overnight |
|---|---|
| Cons | The smell is strong It burns when you apply to open pimples |
| Bottom line | I had a cyst on my cheek that hurt and wouldnt come to a head. It was really big and purple. I took a square of toilet paper, soaked it in ACV and covered it with a bandaid so that the cloth was completely on the cyst. I did this twice and then rubbed Cortizone cream on the cyst while i was sleeping with no bandaid. The cyst doesn't hurt, and is red, but it's much flatter than yesterday and has begun to heal. I drink ACV as it helps with so many other things - research online, it's amazing. |

| Pros | *softens acne scars *lightens acne *cheap |
|---|---|
| Cons | *smells like vomit *stings eyes a little *dries skin |
| Bottom line | I read almost every review on this site before deciding to try ACV. I bought Bragg's with mother in it. I have tried every acne product and every skincare brand available for my acne, which was pretty severe at one point because of a medication I was taking. At the moment, I don't have particularly bad breakouts, but I do have a lot of scarring, which is worse, I think than actual acne. Acne at least goes away, but these scars have been here for years! I've only been using ACV for a few days, maybe a week, morning and night, and I swear I can already see a difference. I really don't think this is my imagination. The new scars are already fading, but the old ones I think will take much longer. The few active breakouts I had are healing, and my complexion seems much brighter. I hope these great results will continue! My hope is renewed! One day I might have the porcelain skin I was MEANT to have! |

| Pros | Saw a positive difference within 24hrs. Blemishes beginning to not be as noticable. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Smell |
| Bottom line | I was leary at first but after using it for a week - I've found what my skin needs! I would recommend that you use 3 parts vinegar to every 1 part water until you eventually have the two liquids break-even. Also...while your skin may clear up using the combo twice a day - I would recommend that it only be used once because it is harsh on the skin and could dry it out. I go back and forth between the vinegar/water combo and Clean & Clear for sensative skin and haven't had any issues. I'm glad to see something so simple and inexpensive could clear up so much! I love it! |

| Pros | Works amazingly well at fading both old an new acne scars/spots. Saw huge improvements after 1 month of daily use. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Can sting |
| Bottom line | Use BRAGGS ! The only ACV that will work this fast. Incredible stuff. Just make sure to dilute it for the first few weeks. Then use full strength when your skin is used to it. |

| Pros | It helps with EVERYTHING! |
|---|---|
| Cons | of course the smell, and stings for just a second. |
| Bottom line | My skin is used to harsh chemicals, and i don't really have bad acne, but recently i broke out and did not do anything to fix it so it just got worse because of wearing make-up, well anyway i have been using this apple cider on my face and it has dried up the zits over night! its a miracle! i drink a shot a day, but i decided to put it on my face to see what would happen, then i googled it and other people do it to lol. it depends on how sensitive your skin is but i think in moderation this is a healthy safe way to cure acne and overall everything. Its nasty to drink but i have gotten used to it. And honestly i had a hugeeee stress bump (is what i call the cyst like zits) and it went away over night! i think for the people that have been breaking out more because of this product is either because they had an allergic reaction to the acidity, or because they where not informed that acne gets WORRSEEE before it gets better! once you treat it you will not see results untill 3 weeks, when you get a zit it is from whatever you did 3 WEEKS ago. my step mom works in the spa and taught me everything. Anyway you may not know it but you have bacteria under the skin and once you treat it all comes out at once, so give it time :) |
