Pros ACV works, it's cheap and it's easy to find.
Cons I don't really have any. The smell doesn't bother me, and when I drink it, I just mix it with apple juice which makes it pretty tasty and tart.
Bottom line I am 42 years old, rarely wear makeup, and have always had perfect skin even as a teen. My friends knew my skin routine but never wanted to try it, preferring to buy chemicals at the store. My 'secret' is something my mom once told me, wash with soap and water if your skin is oily (otherwise just water), scrub your face well with a cloth until it glows (to remove dead skin layers), and spritz your face with diluted ACV (or white vinegar) and let it dry.

My oldest son had terrible acne until he actually listened to his mother (horrors!) and tried this. Two weeks later, his baby face was back and he hasn't had any problems since (he has been using ACV for over a year). Now my daughter is using this method as well and her skin is perfect. A month ago she had blackheads and pimples, and now has beautiful blemish free skin.

Pros Cheap and easy to use
Cons It kind of stinks.
Bottom line You can purchase a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar at your local GNC for less than 3bucks, which can last for several months.

It didn't do much for my face however it completely cleared up my bacne in 2 weeks and later chest acne in a month.
Price paid $2.50

Pros the best over the counter(and in general) treatment I've found for acne and pseudofolliculitis.

Really worked for me, with both problems. I have even stopped using benzoil peroxide cream. I find it more of a preemptive measure.
Cons Apple cider vinegar smeels life cider vinegar. And altough it is sayed is should go away... It doens't seem to know that.

I find white vinegar less smelly, and its smeel really does leave. Also it's cheaper.
Bottom line I think everyone should at least give it a try.
I've been using it for a week with really great results. I'll uplaod and update in a few week, but I'd be surprised if something would change - the improvement has been drastic so far. Maybe it's the thing my face was waiting for.

Pros Cheap, easily accessible
Cons It can dry skin out really fast of you're sensitive.
The smell isn't the best.
Bottom line ACV works wonders and I love this site, it has been SO helpful! I'm 25 and used so many treatments, been to the doctor, and I love this one most for an astringent.
I dilute it half water half ACV, and I drop about 10 aspirin in too.
I also drink it 3x a day. I mix 2tblsp ACV with 2tsp honey, and 8oz. of water. I drink it fast and brush my teeth soon after. The ACV isn't good for teeth.

Pros Throw away all the lying, chemical, money grubbing products you have foolishly blown your hard earned money on, and buy apple cider vinegar. Can't hurt your face, its impossible. And works great.
Cons Well, if you have a girlfriend she won't like the smell of vinegar at night wafting over her.
Bottom line Won't dry you skin, kills all bacteria, makes skin smooth and happy, heals all types of acne, especially eliminates swelling and irritation. In the morning you will probably see some little white heads, that's your acne receding. Better than an irritated battlefield of pain. I apply full strength. Its up to you: $300 for a few months of Zenmed that makes it worse, or a $3 bottle of Bragg. Never use more than 3 ingredients on your face, that's my theory now.

Pros For the first time in my life, I've been told I have beautiful skin! ACV leaves your face plump, glowing, and smooth. It brings your blackheads to the surface and you just rub it off. Changed my zits into pores.
Cons Smells bad...but I use it at night only and it goes away.
Bottom line It's cheap and it works. I use only organic ACV and just pour a few drops into rose water and use it as a toner. My skin looks fresh.
