I mixed 3 parts water and 1 part Apple Cider Vinegar and applied it to my 1/2 my face for 4 nights straight. I let it sit on my face and didn't wash it off until the next day. My face got worse on that side. It has been a few weeks and that side of my face is still worse. I did not use any other product... just washed my face in water a few times a day. I wanted it to work of course but in the end my conclusion : ACV only works for some people.

My prayers have been answered!!! using ACV (2 tbls in an 8oz cup of water)to fight acne is the SECRET WEAPON... i've used all kinds of acne products just like many of you and none can compare the results i've gotten with ACV! i wish i found out about this "weapon of mass destruction" years ago when i first broke out with acne... ^_^

i just started using the acv tonight. i have used it once b4 and from wat i remeber it did clear up my acne but it dried my face out and made it all scaley also. see i got a problem, lol i dont never give thing a chance to work. my dad says i want instat results with everything. i think i am going 2 try 2 use it again as a toner and follow my normal skin care routine (washing with neutrogena oil-free acne wash, and avenno daily moisturizer.)because b4 i didnt moisturize after using the acv. i recently had a REALLY bad breakout tht still happing. this is the worst it has ever been it only on my cheeks though. so i will keep u all updated,
much luv ~jess

If you are drinking vinegar make sure you do it through a straw, vinegar can wear the enamel off of your teeth..and mixed with sugar its 10 times worse

I've had dark purple acne scars that refuse to fade for years. I've tried everything: vinegar, baking soda, toothpaste, proactiv skin lightener, vitamin e oil, lemon juice, microdermabrasion kits, neutrogena acne mark fading peel, and more. vinegar did not help much. i used it twice a day for 2 months, and all it did was make my skin smoother. it will help control oil on oily skin, but not acne scars. vitamin e oil works the best.

Vinegar is great to help diminish acne and also to keep your feet from stinking. Vinegar kills the bacteria which is where the "stinky" part comes into play. So, if you spray some vinegar on your feet (especially between the toes) and also to your sandals, and let it dry for 5 minutes, and then apply some powder (to both feet and sandals) your feet may sweat some (obviously) but no more corn-chip-smelling feet. As far as the acne is concerned...try it. Apple Cider Vinegar applied on cotton instead of using astringent. it REALLY WORKS!!!!

this is my first day trying the ACV. How can I stop the smell? i have a very important event coming up and i DO NOT want to smell like vinegar. Are certain kinds of vinegar less smelly then others?
