Pros Reduces outbreaks, fades red marks and even light scarring, leaves skin feeling very soft and healthy
Cons Yeah, it stinks a bit but you soon get used to it
Bottom line This stuff has helped to stop my breakouts better than anything else I've tried. I've been using an expensive red/blue lamp for 4 years and ACV seems to work much better (although lamps are still worth a go IMO) It has faded my red marks a fair bit and even smoothed out some of my light scarring. It seriously improves your overall skin tone and at first you will notice how smooth your skin feels after using it. Best of all, after applying it to my shoulders every night which were constantly breaking out and covered in red marks, I now barely get a spot there and the marks are fading very well too!

The smell is just not an issue for me, I apply it before I go to bed anyway. You must try this product. It is so cheap what have you got to lose?

Pros Everything. I've tried everything (IPL treatments, PDT, Micro Derm, Proactiv, Aloette, Alyria, Diane 35, everything except acutane) the only thing that has worked for me is ACV and 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide. Try it!
Cons The smell, but it fades really quickly.
Bottom line Try it!! It's the only product I keep coming back to.

Pros This stuff is great. I've had light acne for the past year and a half, and after a week of using this stuff my face had cleared up. Some people say it stings, but I like the way it feels, its like you can feel it working.
Cons smell isn't that great, but you get used to it
Bottom line Do it! You'll save loads on money. I recommend organic and unpasteurized. Pour a small amount in a cup, and dilute with water, then apply to face. I then leave it there for about ten minutes and wash it off.

Pros In all honesty, I feel stupid for not trying this earlier. This crap is what ProActiv SHOULD be. It works so well. This seriously took care of every last spot and pimple I had.

At $3 a bottle, it's a steal compared to other products.
Cons -It smells really gross.
-It burns your eyes if you wash your face with it, AROUND your eyes. So be careful not to get it in your eyes or it's going to sting like hell.
Bottom line PLEASE TRY THIS!!!!
(I have mild acne and oily skin if that helps anyone.)

I was skeptical at first because I tried so many other products, both chemical and natural.
*ProActiv, Oxy, Clearasil, Lemon juice, baking soda, etc.)

I must say, I feel really stupid for not buying ACV earlier. I could have saved myself several hundreds of dollars.
I've used it for close to month now, and I can safely say it's the best thing I've tried. Those 1 or 2 pimples I've always had are now gone and my acne is easily managed now. Some people say it stings when you wash your face with it, but it definitely doesn't sting when I wash my face with it. The only time it's remotely irritating to my skin is when I get out of the shower and wash my face with it. I'm guessing it's because my pores are more open.

Bottom Line: PLEASE TRY THIS BEFORE WASTING ANY MORE MONEY ON CHEMICAL PRODCUTS! This worked for me, and it may just work for you. At only 3 bucks a bottle you can't afford

Pros for me, helps keep zits at bay, along with an acid serum from face reality (they are awesome!) and 5% BP. I mix it 1/3 to 2/3 herbal tea (lady's mantle at the moment), freeze into ice cubes, and rub right after cleaning morning and night.
Cons Doesn't smell great. But only until it dries.
Bottom line I recommend a gentle dilution as a way of evening out skin Ph after cleaning, especially if you are already icing your skin.

Pros Shrinks smaller blemishes as soon as it is put on and even helps to draw out and clear up cystic acne too. It is really cheap and it is natural so you are not clogging up your skin with chemicals. It dries up spots but does not cause flaky patches.
Cons It stinks! Put it on at night or you will smell like vinegar all day and get a lot of odd looks from people. It stings a bit (both on skin and if it gets anywhere near eyes).
Bottom line This stuff is great - I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and it has made a huge difference. The only real drawback is the smell.
I also drink a tablespoon full in a glass of water each day
Try it! It's so cheap that even if it doesn't work you won't be out of pocket, plus you could use it on your chips!

Pros Clears skin, evens tone
Cons Stings and burns, redness at first
Bottom line In early February, I had a massive breakout that had me bawling for weeks. I read on Acne.org about applying Apple Cider Vinegar topically, and I was so desperate I immediately soaked a cotton ball and rubbed it all over my face. My face got WORSE. I was so depressed, but I kept going on with it, and within a few days the breakout cleared and left me with pimple-free skin. I still have light to moderate hyperpigmentation, but I'm hoping it'll clear up within time.

And yes, it does sting, especially if you've popped a pimple. But it will clear up your skin, quick.

Pros Swelling and redness decreased.
Didn't get rid of the pimples, but this was only after one use.
Cons The initial smell is revolting, but you get used to it after 5 minutes.
Bottom line I needed a quick fix. I was having a great hair day and needed a great looking face to go with it! The problem was that I had run out of my face wash and BP a week ago and didn't have enough money to buy more for another 4 days. The result was a horrible break out that just kept getting worse! I haven't had whiteheads for months, but now there were 3-4 on each cheek! It was a disaster and leaving the house looking so awful was just painful and I really didn't want anyone to look at me...

After my shower, I dipped cotton balls in apple cider vinegar and applied it to my problem areas. At first, I couldn't handle the smell! But it went away with time. Also, they got worse looking. After an hour, though, the horrible redness was almost completely gone and my pimples weren't as big as they were before! And my whiteheads were gone!

They weren't the quick fix I was looking for, but they definately worked! I'm going to use this vinegar more often and see where it gets me!

Pros works. affordable. natural. lightens spots.
Cons stings. smells.
Bottom line So I have been using this for 3 days. I just fold a tissue in half, poor the cider vinegar on generously, and wipe it on my face. I usually do it around 5-8 PM, because, when you first put it on, it makes your face very red, which can fool you, but after about an hour, it looks great, and continues to get better for a few hours. I still wash my face before bed and but that medication on. But seriously, I was VERY skeptical, but it really works!
