| Pros | IT WORKS!!!! makes face smooth, lightens red marks, clears up breakouts pretty fast. |
|---|---|
| Cons | the smell. eww. |
| Bottom line | I read all the great reviews on here, and decided to give it a shot. I got the 5%. The first night I used it I couldn't stand the smell. I thought about not using it again, just because of the smell. It stings your face when you first use it, which can be a bit of a shock. ACV is fading my red marks! I was trying scar cream with no luck, and this works! and it works FAST. Seriously, give it a try. You won't be sorry. |

| Pros | Cleared redness and reduced swelling almost immediately |
|---|---|
| Cons | Not the best odor, stings a bit |
| Bottom line | I usually get at least one or two stubborn cysts on my chin from hormones. I've recently started running again, and I think the combination of sweat loving bacteria and toxins being pushed to the surface of my skin has caused a mild breakout with some whiteheads popping up here and there. I also have one fairly bad cyst on my chin and red marks from previous ones, including a large dark red mark from a particularly stubborn one. I started using ACV topically three days ago, and I am amazed by the result. It has really lightened my red marks, even the big one, and has reduced the redness and swelling of the cyst. Also, no new pimples have cropped up. Even my impossible-to-budge blackheads on my nose look smaller. I apply 5% directly to existing pimples, which can sting, and then I dilute it and wipe it over my whole face. Works better than anything I have ever tried. |

| Pros | Applying apple cider vinegar topically has cured the acne I had for 14 years. I think that says it all! |
|---|---|
| Cons | The smell. But use it at night ansd no-one will notice. |
| Bottom line | This really works but you must be consistent. I use a small spray bottle and spray some undiluted vinegar onto a makeup removal pad. After I have washed my face in the shower using a face washer only I leave my face wet. I then wipe the pad over my face, a bit like a toner. If I don't have a wet face I dilute it a little. Initially I started off with it diluted so as to not shock my skin too much. I can't emphasize enough how great ACV is for your skin. It is also anti-aging as it keeps the circulation to your skin and is a chemical exfoliant. Not only do I have clear skin, but my skin glows now! I have tried everything in the past, the oral contraceptive pill, I have had 3 months of acupuncture and chinese herbs, 3 months seeing a natropath, I have tried tissue salts, all sorts of vitamins, I had food intolerances tested, I tried topical antibiotics, every acne cream, lotion and potion available. Apple cider vinegar is the only thing that has worked!!!!!!! |

| Pros | - Natural and you can understand all the ingredients - Easy to purchase at your local market - Actually WORKS! No industry marketing here! Just plain results!! |
|---|---|
| Cons | Yes, the scent is pretty strong, but it can be withstood. Don't let it get near your eyes!! It works well, like a peel but if your skin is sensitive, just use it at night diluted with some water and leave on for 10 minutes, not too much longer. |
| Bottom line | I have never had problem skin but now at the age of 28, I have just suffered from adult acne. I am not sure what induced it, changing hormones, exposure to too much sun, but the skin on my face was attacked by aggressive pimples that left red scars all over. I have sensitive skin and I tried some "natural products" and some medical topicals and salicylic acid treatments.. None worked. Now I am just washing my face with warm (not hot) water and Dove bar soap. Do not exfoliate or scrub with a towel because it will aggravate your skin more. Just use the circular motion of your fingertips when washing to lightly exfoliate. I have found that apple cider vinegar actually purges my clogged pores. It also acts as a peel, not an exfoliant, and has helped my scars disappear. I have not had any new pimples since I started the nightly applications, only the purging of the already existing ones. I really am so glad that this works for me! |

| Pros | - (5%) Works instantly - itchiness/pain from zits immediately gone. size, visibility, frequency of zits reduced after a few days. - Doesn't really cause any uncomfortable side effects aside from stinging any broken skin - Cheap, easily availabl |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Odor. Regular white vinegar has a less potent and shorter-lasting odor than apple cider, and works just as well. Can rinse off after 10-30 minutes and re-apply later. - Stings if you have any cuts (from shaving for example). no biggie |
| Bottom line | Costs almost nothing to try. - Rinse face with warm/hot water to open pores - Apply thin layer of vinegar with cotton ball (can dilute, personally had no probs with full 5%). Maybe try diluting with warm water to maximize pore penetration - Leave on for at least 10 mins. Apply twice a day (morn and night) if you rinse it off. Can leave it on all night if you want. Bottom line: There's no magic here; the acidity kills acne-forming bacteria. You're pickling your face. |

| Pros | Everything! Nice, smooth, glow to skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | The smell is a little over powering, causes your face to be a little dry |
| Bottom line | I have tried over 10 different products to get rid of the blemishes on my face, spend a ton of money and nothing compares to this. I just started using it and already I can see a difference in my complexion. It's cheap, only .96 cents at Walmart! |
