| Pros | Started working straight away. Skin was less oily, congested and red. Size and quantity of acne lessened immediately + got consistenly better with time. Have tried many treatments for yrs including topical antibiotics + retinoid cream with no results |
|---|---|
| Cons | a little bit stinky when you initially put it on but subsides quickly. |
| Bottom line | Fantastic. Has cleared my acne when NOTHING else did. I have tried: liver cleanses, detox's, Vitex herb, Various face washes, scrubs - natural and chemically based. I tried antibiotics and retinoid creams to no avail and then throught one day i'll try apple cider vinegar topically and internally. As a moisturiser i use straight cold pressed organic coconut oil. Which is a fantastic combination. After 8 years I have no acne and my skin looks and feels fantastic. Acne was previously moderate to severe and chronic. Now I have one small pimple under my chin which is only there because I picked at it! |

| Pros | Quick and works when other things have not. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Undiluted it dries my skin out a small bit and makes it a little itchy. |
| Bottom line | I've been working out 4 or 5 times a week since the beginning of February and it seems as a result the acne on my back got much much worse. I've had backne of varying severity since I was 16 and have tried soaps and creams but nothing seemed to have an effect. Finally I heard about using vinegar and picked up a half gallon jug of white vinegar and a spray bottle for about 5.00. Its been amazing, I now only have one small cyst on my back and the rest of my zits are gone or healing. Right after I work out I take a real hot shower and let my back rinse for a few minutes then I spray the vinegar on my back and let it sit for 5 minutes or so (usually brush my teeth while it soaks). I rinse it off then wash like normal - that's it. Seems to work best on those nasty white cysts. |

| Bottom line | apple cider vinegar does work great as a topical but didnt cure my acne drinking it. but i did some research and did a intestinal cleanse and have not had a break out in a month and a half after suffering for 9 years. knock on wood.i take psyluim husk 1000 mg and activated charcoal 500mg after lunch and dinner then i take a probiotic at night. i buy them at health food vitamin store gnc or vitamin shop. but the results have been unbelievable. it clears out all bad bacteria and parasites from large intestinte then i restore with a proboitic for good bacteria which bacteria is necessary for digestine. i wrote this very brief i would love to start a blog on this in particular. i no longer spend time looking for miracle!! i would love to share other thing also like how well b5 has also helped sopranoc@aol email me |

| Pros | I recently had a bad breakout (hormonally related) and the vinegar has worked wonders. My dermatologist tried several medications (doxycycline, Differin, benzamycin, new BCP) but the vinegar is what works! |
|---|---|
| Cons | It did not work overnight for me as some have claimed. Give it some time if it doesn't work right away. Took me about two weeks before things really started clearing up. |
| Bottom line | Give it a shot! My acne was somewhat severe and it works. If it doesn't work out, you only spent a few bucks, anyway. Be sure to mix it 50-50 with water so it doesn't burn. I used to drink it too, but it bothered my stomach. I think just applying it topically does the trick. Good luck everyone. |

| Pros | I used it for the first time last night and 2 zits are gone. |
|---|---|
| Cons | The smell gets mildly nauseating after a bit but small price to pay.. |
| Bottom line | I literally read about this around 8 pm last night, around 9 walked two blocks to the store, bought Bragg’s apple cider vinegar (unfiltered and organic) and then came home and used it as a toner. I was going to take a shower later on, but wanted to jump start the process. I washed my face, let it dry and then soaked a cotton ball in the acv and applied gently to my face in a thin layer. Three hours later I took a shower and rinsed my face – no soap – and then when I got out, while my pores were still open, I applied the acv as a spot treatment, let that sit for like 20 minutes and then applied the regimen amount of BP. I woke up and two of my cysts that I’ve had for a month are completely gone, and this really painful cyst I have on my cheek has gone down by about a 1/3 and is way less red. I’ve used this for like 12 hours and I’m in love. I also drink it, 2 tsp three times a day. I mix it with the POM brand pomegranate and blackberry tea – can’t ev |

| Pros | No new pimples the next day Evened complexion out Feels good on the skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | Smells like vinegar (well what would u expect) |
| Bottom line | Good stuff, Read a lot of reviews then bought and tried, I would recommend it as its cheap, easy and seems to work so far, I dunno what y'all are on about with diluting it though, I use it full strength as a toner all over my face, it did not make my face red and only stung for a second, also my face didn't feel any dryer the next morning, Suck it up and try it without water, I don't see why anyone would have to dilute it 1/10 or even 1/1 for christs sake. |

| Pros | Helps restore tone and greatly lessens acne |
|---|---|
| Cons | Just the taste but if you mix it with lemon juice and water it isn't too bad. |
| Bottom line | This really helped me a lot. Months ago my skin was red and had lost it's tone, after using apple cider vinegar my tone came back and my acne lessened a lot. I was drinking about a tablespoon a day as well as applying it topically. Use the braggs kind because it is unpasturized and organic and seems to really get into the skin. I had been dealing with acne for about four years and this was the only thing that made a breakthrough. Don't spend tons of money on chemical products that are don't do anything! I have found that using ACV, as well as lerosett swedish clay mask to rid my pores of the left over stuff and tamanu oil for my small scars has my face acne free, all that is left are a few dark spots which the tamanu oil is really taking care of. |

| Pros | Cheap and it really works. I think it give my skin a nice glow |
|---|---|
| Cons | Smell and taste |
| Bottom line | I have bad side effect using benzoyl peroxide so i can't use Dan's regimen. I managed to found my acne cure in this forum. That's using apple cider vinegar as a drink and a topical. I drink and apply it twice a day. I have done up a blog [link removed] with 20 days of pictures of my acne condition. This treatment is rather tedious but it really works. I have to continue the treatment even after my acne clear up. |
