| Pros: | Dries up pimples really fast, skin feels softer and smoother, looks better, too. |
| Cons: | None really, doesn't prevent new ones, but that's a given because it's not a medication. |
| Bottom Line: | I've pretty much given up on ever having nice skin, or even managable skin for that matter. I've tried Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Proactiv, Biore, Lush, Differin, Retin-A, Doxycycline, so on and so forth, nothing has cleared it up, but so far just swiping my face with a cotton ball soaked in the vinegar has been pretty promising, I've been doing this for about a week, and while my main problem isn't new zits forming, it's mostly old zits never going away. So maybe three zits will pop up at a time within the span of a week, that's not a problem, but they never go away, so next thing I know I have fifty zits because old ones won't heal, but this is just drying them up into flakes of skin that either get scrubbed away or just peel right off, which is actually taming my acne a bit... plus it's cheap. |

| Pros: | Clears skin, cheap. I've tried tea tree oil, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, vitamin E, and Minocycline (prescription), and nothing worked until I tried apple cider vinegar. This stuff is amazing! |
| Cons: | I have really sensitive eyes, so being near the vinegar makes them sting, even if it doesn't get in my eyes. |
| Bottom Line: | Give it a try. It works! |

| Pros: | Works for acne on the scalp. |
| Bottom Line: | I came looking for this topic because I suspected it worked--I've been rinsing my hair (and massaging the scalp) with vinegar after shampooing and acne on the scalp has been reduced: a surprising "extra" since I was using vinegar for softer hair.
2 T. white vinegar in a cup of warm water. Slowly pour it on so that you can massage it into the scalp. Sometimes I leave it on for a minute or two. Then rinse off and use whatever other hair conditioner you usually use.
The vinegar removes soap deposits and makes the hair very soft. No smell afterward. |

| Pros: | it works !! , its cheap , u should already have it in your kitchen cupboard, takes the redness away. :) |
| Cons: | it smells a little but it fades away after a while , and if it gets in your eyes it hurts |
| Bottom Line: | it actually works , since ive had pimples/acne i have been trying lots of different creams, washes everything really !!
lately i have been using clearasil wash and a cream and havent seen any results. :( .. but i was so down one day i looked on gooogle for quick fixes and i found this, so i tryed vinegar at first i had my doubts but now im alot more confident and i really liked the results. after washing my face just before bed i dipped a cotton bud into vinegar and only put it on the pimples then i woke up the next day and they had almost completley dissapered. i would definatle recommend this but only onto the pimpls/acne not allover your face .. :) |

| Pros: | Dried out my pimples, i have a nice glow on my cheeks. |
| Cons: | Had to get used to the stink, skin feels too tight. |
| Bottom Line: | During and after my pregnancy, i got a patch of pimples on my left cheek and ive never had pimples there, not even in high school. I've tried everything, even birth control pills, and usually those pills to make it go away, nothing. My mom started drinking ACV, just to be more healthier, so i went to Whole Foods and bought Braggs ACV and did my research. I drink acv with honey and water and apply acv straight on my skin. This stuff works! All my zits are dried out, no new zits. I almost dont mind the smell but it does dry my face out. I put raw shea butter on my face cuz raw shea butter does not clog pores and its actually an anti-inflammatory. ACV and raw shea butter equal a great combo. I will keep on using ACV, the Braggs kind. |

| Pros: | Helps dry out acne and even tone, but most importantly it helps stop future breakouts AND can be used during pregnancy, which was FANTASTIC, I suffered "teen-like" break outs during pregnancy and couldn't use any chemicals or anything. |
| Cons: | smells bad, so just put it on at night
may make your skin a little red at first |
| Bottom Line: | its cheap, safe during pregnancy, natural and it works! |

| Pros: | Dries out zits quickly |
| Cons: | Smells terrible, even after it dries! Dried out my entire face. |
| Bottom Line: | It really didn't work for me, though I was really hopeful about it to begin with. The smell is awful, and even after it dries, it was still really stinky. It did dry out my existing zits quickly, but didn't prevent new ones from coming. Overall, didn't work for me. |

| Pros: | Reduces outbreaks, fades red marks and even light scarring, leaves skin feeling very soft and healthy |
| Cons: | Yeah, it stinks a bit but you soon get used to it |
| Bottom Line: | This stuff has helped to stop my breakouts better than anything else I've tried. I've been using an expensive red/blue lamp for 4 years and ACV seems to work much better (although lamps are still worth a go IMO) It has faded my red marks a fair bit and even smoothed out some of my light scarring. It seriously improves your overall skin tone and at first you will notice how smooth your skin feels after using it. Best of all, after applying it to my shoulders every night which were constantly breaking out and covered in red marks, I now barely get a spot there and the marks are fading very well too!
The smell is just not an issue for me, I apply it before I go to bed anyway. You must try this product. It is so cheap what have you got to lose? |

| Pros: | Everything. I've tried everything (IPL treatments, PDT, Micro Derm, Proactiv, Aloette, Alyria, Diane 35, everything except acutane) the only thing that has worked for me is ACV and 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide. Try it! |
| Cons: | The smell, but it fades really quickly. |
| Bottom Line: | Try it!! It's the only product I keep coming back to. |
