| Pros | Cheap, effective, not only helps mild to moderate acne, but also helps clear up seriously plugged up pores (milia and the like) |
|---|---|
| Cons | Smells like apple cider vinegar, can sting (especially after shaving, which I don't recommend) |
| Bottom line | One of the side benefits of ACV is that it not only disinfects, but acts as an AHA to help slough away dead skin cells. This helped clear up my case of milia (rough, bumpy skin on the forehead). However, after I stopped using ACV, it came back. So it doesn't seem to be a cure, but a pretty effective treatment.nonetheless. Also, I've noticed some differences in quality of ACV. Typically the stuff you find at a health food store will be organic and good; the Heinz stuff you find at a grocery store will do nothing. Not sure if this is the case with everyone, but it's been my experience that not all ACVs are alike! |

| Pros | it dried a big zit on my left cheek that had been bothering me for three full days!!! I woke up this morning and that same zit is not as red as it was, it shrunk and I'm the happiest. |
|---|---|
| Cons | so far none... the smell yeah! but my skin already looks better this morning!!! |
| Bottom line | I just tried it last night for the first time, so I know it's too soon to write a great review about it, but I already saw my big zit (and a few others) dried up and shrunk. I used baking soda mixed with water first as a mask, let it dry for 15 minutes, washed my face completely and applied some apple cider vinegar mixed with a little bit of water with a cotton ball all over my face. Not too much, though. It didn't sting, the smell started bothering me, but after my moisturizer the smell wasn't bad at all. I just did it last night and noticed that my skin improved a little, I'll keep using the ACV every night. The baking soda only three times a week and continue to use my other topical acne medication. See how that goes!!!! |

| Pros | nothing so far! |
|---|---|
| Cons | has a smell, but you get used to it. |
| Bottom line | i started breaking out really bad a couple of weeks ago, and i was using actual acne washes! i read about apple cider vinegar and decided to give it a try. i wash my face every morning and every night and afterwards, i dab a cotton pad into the vinegar (which i dilute with water) and rub it on my face. So far it's worked! A few days ago, my face was full of nasty infected pimples. And now it's clear, expect for some scarring. So far I am so happy and stoked with this product. I'm about to start taking apple cider vinegar pills to see if i notice any difference with that. |

| Pros | Its a great toner. It balances the pH level of your skin. It is all natural (use only raw, organic ACV) and its inexpensive. **BRAGG'S ACV** |
|---|---|
| Cons | It smells and when you sweat it releases its smell from your pores. But during normal daily activity you should not experience the smell after it dries. |
| Bottom line | Use it as a drink as well. Before each meal drink two tablespoons. If not to help your skin, it will aid in digestion. Nothing to loose in other words. I use it straight up. Over the years, trying everything under the sun, my skin has become pretty resilient to drying of being over sensitive. I have also mixed it with some fresh lemon juice in the past. This also reduces the smell. Lemons also supposedly help aid the redness in hyperpigmentation, which has been an issue for me. Just be careful and make smaller batches and refrigerate it so the it stays fresh. I used half ACV, half lemon juice. It may sting or irritate some so dilute the mixture. |

| Pros | It works great my skin has really cleared up :) I started using it after reading about it on these forums and it really has helped so much, I don't really break out anymore and if I do it's usually very minimal. I've noticed a definite improve |
|---|---|
| Cons | None really, you get used to the smell and stinging after awhile, that just means its working :) |
| Bottom line | It's great I recommend anyone to use it, I use Aspall Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and also Aspall Organic White Wine Vinegar they are both great. I have a small spray bottle I use with 50/50 mix of water and ACV I also drink 2 caps in the morning with water and 3 at night :) it really cleans out the crap inside you aswell, acne is an inside and outside problem ! Make sure not to drink the ACV without taking water it'l burn your throat really bad for up to 24 hours! Drink water with it or any other juice. A mistake I made was using a 100% solution of vinegar first in my bottle which really isn't a good idea, start with a 33% ACV 77% water solution or a 50% ACV 50% water solution if your skin can take it. Best of luck I hope as many people as possible read this, it will help you ! stick to it, the results will come I promise you! stick to it don't give up ! It took me 3weeks-2 months to notice a difference, everyone tells me how my skin glows now :) best its |

| Pros | Works!! Reduced redness and size of pimple. i love this miracle product except for a few side effects. got pimmples? RUN OUT RIGHT NOW AND GRAB A BOTTLE =) |
|---|---|
| Cons | Took nearly 2weeks to clear, some problems with esophagus. Still have few SMALL pimples some old, some new. |
| Bottom line | I took ACV orally in the first week, I was so stupid I took 2 table spoon undiluted each day. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. The next day when i drank water my throat was so sore. ALWAYS TAKE ACV WITH WATER. 1 tablespoon in 16oz of water. In 8oz of water i still felt the burn. It is very acidic so do research before taking it or else you'll burn your esophagus. It took like 2 weeks for me to see results i nearly gave up coz i didn't think it would work for me BUT IT DID =) I still have like 4 new pimples I don't know what cuased it maybe it was ACV or my hormones. sigh* i can't wait til they all disappear. Before i had like millions of pimples on my forehead (caused by shampoo), then i stopped using shampoo and it is now so much clearer. Right now i am taking a break from ACV coz it burned my esophagus, but when i took, it i felt as if my stomach is cleaner (inside) and flatter =) I will resume taking in a few days. For some people like me it will take longer to see results. DONT' GIVEUP |

| Pros | -No IB (Initial Breakouts) -Cheap -Easy to use |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Smells -Minimal Effectiveness |
| Bottom line | I did not really have much results with this. The smell is horrible and you can't do it discreetly. Also, it didn't really reduce red marks and while at times it was able to shrink whiteheads, it was not consistent enough to be reliable. |

| Pros | research tells that it works(its acid, it kills the yeast or bacteria) so you may feel a backup and it has somehow stoped flaking in the 3 days Ive used it. |
|---|---|
| Cons | the smell and the initial redness |
| Bottom line | seems to work, Ill give it a couple more of weeks, the feedback is too good to believe it. Im very skeptic but this seems to work so Ill just hope for the best. I wont recomend yet till I see the ending results in 2 weeks. |

| Pros | softens hair, great detox, helps clear up complexion |
|---|---|
| Cons | tastes and smells bad but so worth it |
| Bottom line | I use Braggs vinegar for a vinegar/water hair rinse. It makes my hair so soft. This is the only conditioner I use. I also drink 2 tablespoons twice a day of the vinegar. Cleans out the system and improved metabolism (also increases energy). My complexion is clearer since I've started doing this. I've also switched to all natural skin and hair products. Makes such a big difference. |
