I went on Retin-A and Erythromycin pads and my acne on my
back clreared up great!! But whenever I used either on my
face(Especially Retin-A) my face became ETREMELY oily, and
made every blemish on my face even redder, it was absolutely
terrible! Now I only use the Erythromycin pads on my back,
but not the Retin-A. I wouldn't exactly recommend it, it's
really greasy and smells terrible, reminds me of gasoline.

I really don't think I have to tell you how absolutely horrific my expierience with Retin-a Micro has been seeing how so many other people have said the same here, but I will anyway. As a female you always feel the extra special need to look your best, initially you may think this product works but eventually it will leave you scarred, red, peeling, burning and in pain from the acne it makes %100 times worse than it's original state. I kept returning to the official Retin-A Micro site to assure myself the initial break-out was normal as they said, but after months of listening to the same [censored] and my skin progressively getting worse, I stopped using it just three days ago from today (4/11/05) and it has left me feeling severely depressed, suicidal, scarred and feeling hopeless. I don't know what to do or where to go from here. Maybe off the nearest bridge.

Please, for your own good - listen to me and everyone else on this site who has written a review on this product. DO NOT USE RETIN-A MICRO.

This product was awful!!! I mean it did clear me up but the acne returned in a few weeks but was way worser. I had started breaking out since I was 8 years old, now being 13 I'm still breaking out for 5 years!!!!!!! I wish I hadn't had acne and this tretinoin just ruined my face. For those of you who hadn't been succesful with this you should try the murad line.

I think that it works well, alot of people just dont use it properly. Alot of sites say to start using it every 2-3 days in the beggining. If you have more senitive skin use it every 4 days. Also use it only at night. Another thing is to very small amounts of it. I used it a long time ago before Accutane and i would put lots on every night never skipping. I got a red face and lots of breakouts. Just dont use it every night till you get used to it and you will be fine.

gr8 product. have used for 9 wks and skin is much better. first two weeks were fine. weeks 3-5 were Horrible with skin peeling weirdly and extreme redness of face. very embarassing period. then skin's appearance started improving. skin is 70% better now. dont get dissapointed in the earlier wks. try atleast for 7-10 weeks.

i went to the derm, and she perscribed me triaz cleanser, dynacin pillss, and Retin-a micro gel. it works amazingly. after 1 week i only have 2 pimples. my dermatologist said that i have moderate-severe acne. now it is mild. the only bad part is that my skin is peely and dry. on my back it is all red.

I have tried many products, over the counter & prescription, but this is the only thing that worked for me. This is an excellent acne treatment. I highly recommend it. Yes, there are side affects, like peeling, but thats part of it. I used the .10%, but you can use a milder concentration. It treates even the sever kind of acne, and reduce oil. So skin is clear and dry. It's expensive, but worth it!!!

About a month and a half ago, my doctor prescribed me retin-a and topical eurothromycin/benzoyl peroxide, due to some occasional breakouts, but mostly because I have overly oily skin. I am currently still having some peeling, drying and irritation. I have noticed that my skin is definately not as oily as it was before, and my pimples are at a minimum amount. I am still awaiting some more improvements, but I am very glad that it seems to be controling the oil, as my doctor said it would.
