I've used this medicine for almost 2 years now and it works really well. It takes a while to work but once it does, the results (for me at least) are amazing. My skin can get dry but it doesn't if I exfoliate and moisturize in the morning. And if you don't have insurance, get it from Canada! It's a quater of the cost there (only about $30.00 a tube).

The cream works extremely well, when used with normal tetracycline.
Like it explains, you will have bad breakouts for the first week, then after that, your fine.
I haven't had but maybe...1 mayor breakout in three weeks. :/ Pretty Good.
All that you need to worry about it the redness from where the Acne used to be.
Besides that, this cream is fantastic.

Use Retin-A Micro. Much better on sensative skin!

At first this medication made my acne worse. Then, my acne cleared up, but my face turned bright red and peeled and burned. My doctor said this would decrease over time, but it did not. The redness, peeling, and burning were just as bad as the acne.

Differin is basically the same type of medication, but it is much more tolerable to the skin (little or no irritation and reddness)

The first two weeks I broke out significantly. The medicine pretty much pushed out any blackhead or pimple forming in my skin. Finally, week 3 my skin is healing. My past blemishes are fading and the pimples I had are healed or healing super fast. I was super discourage but now I am feeling confident that this is going well. I just hope it keeps getting better because I can imagine in about another month how clear my skin will be.

I recently used tretinoin for the first time last night, and hello heat and redness! It's been 24 hours and I look like a tomato - and I have homecoming on Saturday!!! Can anyone tell me how long this effect will last? THanks!

Retin-A is horrible. It made my whole face flake off. The doctor said this might happen, so I kept using it to see if the irritation would go away. It never did. After 4 months of use my acne was no better and my face was red and flaky.

It will work well for:
CYSTIC ACNE
NODULISTIC ACNE

if you apply it with: ANTIBIOTIC CREAM, preferrably, Erythromycin Cream.

Try Retin-A Micro

I used this product for over 6 months. In the first 2 months it made my face break out with HUGE RED CYSTS. It was aweful and painful. Finally my skin started clearing up and I started seeing great improvement. Unfortunately, now it sucks again. It makes my skin very oily, huge pores and I get breakouts all over my face now.
