What I found works for me and some of my friends is actually a toothpaste mask. Just put toothpaste on your face like anyother type of mask, leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash it off.

Toothpaste works, but only on the occasional yellow ugly pimple, it dries them out, however it can leave a scar on sensitive skin. whenever i get a huge pimple i wear it overnight and dont get any scarring, but then again thats me.

It actually, i dont think, works for me.
I tried it one night and woke up with nothing differant :/ So i went off it.
Now im trying it with Differin.
My friends brother has major acne, tried accutane and didnt work for him that much - and he had acne when he was like, a junior or something.
So yeah, shes freaking out that the same will happen to her, so she uses toothepaste to a pimple and she says it gone.
She has gorgeous skin and im hopeing the same for me.
The only reason i rated high is because of her.

DO NOT USE TOOTHPASTE!!! As other people have said it leaves awful and painful burn marks which are lasting. I put some on a few zits becasue I broke out and I woke up the next warning with 3 really dark dried blood and blistered areas on my face it looked AWFUL and I refused to go anywhere! It the moment i still have the 3 marks and it has been a week and they are still oozing. For the sake of your skin DO NOT USE TOOTHPASTE!

Toothpaste is pretty cool to use for like on-the-spot treatment... but just follow the regular acne regimen to keep acne gone completely every day... every day i put lemon on my skin to fade away all the acne scars, they're so g*y!

It worked for me! I don't recommend a whitening or gel toothpaste as these are harsh on the skin. But, definitely try it for yourself.

For me it worked very well, however this is only my first night trying it. I put it on my "bad" areas and left it on for about 15-20 mins. After I rinsed it off, the redness was mostly gone, and my skin felt much smoother.
I'm going to wash my face with it tomorrow and see how that works, and I will post again with my results.
But right now, I'm pretty happy with it already!

The thing with toothpaste is that it's 'good' if you have a little pimple or whitehead on your whole clear face and you want it gone for the next day. Other thing is when you have acne, real acne, not just a pimple every month...it the second case it won't do anything, because acne is way too complicated to cure and treat with toothpaste.

I suggest to put it on one tiny blemish, and leave it for 15-20 minutes, then wash it of and see how your skin reacts. It is working for me.

I have really bad acne on my chest and shoulders and face and i applied toothpaste and after 10-15 mins it appeared to clear up the red marks. i think as long as theres baking soda in it it will work. this is my first night with it on my chest and back but before i have used it on my face and it worked perfectly. heres what i do: after i wash my face, i wet my face with warm water then apply the toothpaste to the area with the blemishes. only to those areas though, because otherwise it will cause burns and scars. then i wait for like 15 minutes or so and then wash it off. dont scrub your face really hard though because it will cause red marks. PAT DRY! do not rub your face with a towel, it will not work. at the moment, the toothpaste fades the coloring of the acne but eventually it will cause them to fade completly. Overall, i'd give toothpaste a 9 because its very cheap and it works.
