Pros: my acne is almost gone! no big painful pussy pimples hardly ever! im also suppoesed to start my period too and im not breaking out yet! Cons: Just the schedule. but its it worth it! Bottom Line: Antibiotics work for some not for others. you just have to try it. if it doesnt work, try something else. if it does, congratulations for finding your cure! i found mine!!! i hope it keeps working!! Pros: It really works. I had major pimples on my chin and cheeks. I went to my derm and cried and asked for him to make my pimples go away. He prescribed Tetracycline and Sebazon? the generic is called 10 % Sulfacetamide Sodium Lotion. Cons: Tetracycline is upsetting to my stomach. But its either a stomach ache or pimples. I prefer stomach pains. Bottom Line: This sh*t works wonders in two weeks. It works best when taken on an empty stomach. My derm also told me that your body can become immune to the medicine so he recommended for me to use it until it clears my acne and stop. He also advised that if acne returns, then i should continue to use it. He said it would work best to clear it all at once and stop....and if necessary to return to using the medicine a few months later--if needed. Whatever you do...continue to use it until your face clears up and take recommended dosage. He has me taking one in morning and one at night then asked to lower dosage...but i guess until later. Cons: doesnt work no visual improvement Bottom Line: i was given this to take for 3 months, one pill a day but it hasnt helped at all. ive been on it 2/3 weeks and my acne seems to have got even worse! maybe i have to wait for longer to see results but all it has done is make my skin red and oily. my spots have come back worse than before i was on the prescription and it has made me anti social and depressed Recommended: No Usage: Reviewer has used this item for a few weeks. Pros: I did not break out as much... Cons: Daily Stomach-aches. Skin became really dry and sensitive. Bottom Line: Tetracycline did not help clear acne even though my dermatologist convinced me that it would. I have had light/moderate acne for about 18 months and lately it got worse. Taking this antibiotic did not improve my skin at all!!! I noticed that 2 weeks in, I couldn't eat as much as I wanted to. Right after a meal, my stomach would hurt and I just wanted to throw up. Consequently, I became very conscious about what I ate because I did not want to have to endure the stomach pains everytime. It was worse than having major menstrual cramps.I regret taking this pill and wasting my money. It is definetely not worth it!! Recommended: No Usage: Reviewer has used this item for about a month. Pros: started taking it around 2 weeks ago. Have noticed slight difference in the redness of my acne. Really hope it should start dissapearing in a month. free on NHS Cons: Very hard to fit into practical scheduale. Bottom Line: I realised this morning that you're not supossed to take it with food which makes me feel like the last three weeks might have been pointless. Pros: Worked quite quickly. I saw an improvement after a couple of weeks. Even the Dr was impressed! Cons: When my dose was reduced to one tablet a day it seemed to stop working. I got slight breakouts and after a few months i seemed to be completely immune to it. \the acne has got worse than before. Bottom Line: It's good as a bit of respite from the acne but i did get lulled into a false sense of security after initially seeing how effective it was. I've recently changed Drs and he isn't even contemplating giving me another dose of this as is simply doesn't work for some people. Recommended: Yes Usage: Nic has used this item for a few months.
