| Pros: | clears acne after 2 weeks |
| Cons: | arranging your eating habits! its easy to get used to though! |
| Bottom Line: | I have been using this for 2 weeks and has cleared it up amazingly well. Before I was prescribed this drug I had used the regimen with no spectacular results. I had a few cysts and nodules but my acne would be considered relatively light.
I still have the odd one or two springing up but have another 6 weeks left.
I have also been using sudocreme too - its amazing stuff! |

| Pros: | There wasn't really any pros. It didn't help clear my skin AT ALL! |
| Cons: | Tetracycline doesn't help zits. It didn't help, but it didn't make them worse either. |
| Bottom Line: | This really is a waste of money. You have to schedule when you're going to eat, and it doesn't even work! Tetracyline doesn't get rid of pimples at all. |

| Pros: | Cheap,It works better than minocycline, and thats not saying much |
| Cons: | Well, I've been using this for a year, and its really annoying to have to take it two hours after meals or 1 hour before. It doesn't clear everything up but it helps I guess. |
| Bottom Line: | It definitely helps, but I still have acne.I'm looking for something else to take. I would recommend it to people with very very little acne. |

| Pros: | made my acne moderately clearer |
| Cons: | I still get breakouts and my face is rarely perfectly clear |
| Bottom Line: | i've been on this pill longe enough to almost be an expert!
sure it cleared up my skin mostly but with the coooperation of keeping my hands off my face and using harsh creams that were bad for my skin (think red, dry, and raw feeling, is burned to wash). in the winter when my skin is particularly dry the pill and the MILDEST cream my doctor put me on still yeild flaking dry skin, no matter how much i moisturize after with a non comedogenic moisturizer. You may see results short term but it doesn't ever clear you completely |

| Pros: | Stopped huge zits and breakouts |
| Cons: | -scheduling meals . (but WELL WORTH IT :)
- does not get rid of scars, but they will fade with time (hopefully lol) |
| Bottom Line: | I am so happy my doctor put me on tetracycline, and I never experienced any nausea or upset stomach due to the pill (but try to avoid milk and dairy products while on it). My breakouts have reduced significantly, and I have only been on it for a month! I saw results in the first two weeks, but apparently two months are needed for full results. |

| Pros: | It has worked better than any medication I have tried so far. |
| Cons: | Still have breakouts at times, which really make me feel low. But without it I have even worse breakouts so Im sticking with it for now. I have to remain on this medication for 6 months before my doctor can tell if it is working for me...Long! |
| Bottom Line: | I am using Tetralysal 300 and also use Retin-A Cream. The combination is ok so far, but not fantastic. I find that I still get spots, fewer than before though. Annoyingly my skin scars very badly, so the few spots that I continue to get never let my skin get back to scar free and normal. I have another two or three months left before my doctor will let me try another medication or a stronger dose. It is worth a try for anyone with mild to moderate acne. |

| Pros: | NONE |
| Cons: | Broke out even worse than before once I got off it.
Ruined my teeth!!! Read the fine print. Those side effects (however rare they may claim they are) do definitely happen. |
| Bottom Line: | So the bottom line is, no one, in my opinion, should use antibiotics for acne. They kill all the good bacteria in your body, which just encourages the bad bacteria to take over once you get off them. This causes all kinds of problems...
Infections, candida overgrowth, acne, constipation, poor digestion, tooth decay....the list goes on and on.
Tetracycline didn't even help me while I was on it. So it pretty much had no Pros and tons of Cons.
I recently decided to treat acne naturally and healthily, and now I'm finally clearing up. |

| Pros: | Fewer pimples. This product actually started working in about 2 days. |
| Cons: | Scheduling my life around apill |
| Bottom Line: | It actually worked for me. I was prescribed the medicine on a friday and saw a big improvement by Monday. Along with the Retin-A, finally something is working for my acne. |

| Pros: | umm is there any? Maybe it helped me be more responsible to a tough schedule. |
| Cons: | worst than before! Made skin even more sensitive than before. Its not for everyone for sure! Im happy for those that are pleased. |
| Bottom Line: | Like some here, my skin did not like it at all. My resistant areas got even worst and the areas of my forhead that used to stay more clear, developed major break-outs. Plus, the areas that were bad were red rash-like and super sensitive. I'm going to hide now before my computer writes itself a program to make fun of me!
p.s. from reading here, it seems that most results happen within the first couple weeks of taking it. I have been on for 2 months. Im staying on the path to find success! |
