I am 25 yrs old and started getting acne about a year ago and it got progressively worse over the following year. I had never had any problems with acne before. After several months and a face covered with acne I whet to a dermatologist I have been on tetracyclin for about 3 1/2 months now and I m starting to notice a difference. I use other topical ointments, torazac and dulac-gel, I use one in the morning and one at night. Overall my skin is finally becoming what it use to be and the blemishes on my body are completely gone I still have some on my face but they are not nearly as noticable as they use to be. I can finally walk with my head up again and without my hair covering my face.

I was on this for two years, it cleared up my skin relatively fast and though I wasn't quite blemish free, still getting the odd spot every now and again, it was definitely successful. Before I took it, I had spots on my chest and back, which cleared up completely. I'm definitely happy with the results

iv been taking oxytetracycline tablet for nerli 2 months now, and while i think my skin is clearer i still had a break out a few days ago. While the ones on my back which i really don't like, havnt cleared at all. I have a week to go before my doctor puts me on cream, because apparently i can't stay on these tablets for longer. While my face isn't too bad I have more spots than average. But since taking the tablets the number of spots have reduced but i still have marks which really get me down. Any idea for those? please reply!

I went on the antibiotics to treat a minor skin infection/irritation on my chin and corners of my mouth about 4 spots in total when i think about it- after 3 weeks of taking oxytetracycline I have had a massive outbreak on and all around my neck large red soars, i never get spots like this on my neck and i am convinced it is this medication! It looks awful and i think my dr is trying to give me a nervous breakdown by prescribing this to me! It may be cheap but comes at a higher expense!

This stuff was actually really great. I was given a perscription for only 100 capsules and I didn't noticed a huge change until afterwards when I was looking at pictures from before I went on the medication. It cleared up almost everything and I've been off of it for over a year now and my acne hasn't worsened at all (but nor has it gotten any better). I think that if I go on it again, I will have to take less, but it should clear everything else up (there isn't much more to clear up when I think about it). I didn't find any complications with this (but then again my doctor is VERY careful when giving out perscriptions). I would definitley recommend this product!!

I USED THIS AND A TOPICAL ANTIBIOTIC AND IT WORKED WONDERS- CLEAR SKIN GALORE! BUT YOU CANT BE ON AN ANTIBIOTIC FOREVER AS NEW RESEARCH SHOWS- SO I WENT OFF NOW I HAVE YEAST INFECTIONS LIKE CRAZY AND MY ACNE IS WORSE THEN EVER! SHORT TERM THEY ARE FANTASTIC LONG TERM THE WORST DECISION YOU COULD EVER MAKE.

I thought an oral prescription would be great, because it
seemed so easy and I THOUGHT I could be on it for as long
as I wanted. Turns out your body can become resistant after
a while. And guess what? That's exactly what happened. I
thought I was starting to ntice some improvement, then in a
month it just stopped. Plus I started using it at the end of summer and it made me sun sensitive, so I missed a lot the end of summer. And I got a stomach ache every time I
took it 'cause I had to take it on an empty stomach. I'm not
going to say it doesn't work for everyone, so do whatever you want I just dont like it much
