This stuff's pretty good, not the best thought,, It does keep ur skin clear after using bp gel, but it made me break out in the first 2 weeks. I've been using this for 4 weeks now, and i have had little to no breakouts, that weren't already happening.

I have been taking Tetracyline for many months now. I have had virtually no side effects, but my acne is NOT gone. I have not seen any dramatic improvement from it. I sort of stopped taking it for a few days and just put alot of BP on my skin and that seemed to work better. I would suggest the clear skin regimin and lots of water and healthy foods.

Good Luck!
MK

I was on this course for my moderate/ severe acne, and although it helped reduce the cysts and swellings, it never really drastically worked for me. I think this would be great for anyone with mild acne- anyone moderate or worse it will help a bit, but other that that its kind of ok, but a bit of a waste of time really!..... I didnt have any side effects actually- which was a bonus!

Ive been using Minocin for 2 weeks now. I had really bad (and sometimes painful)facial acne up to the age of 18.
I started using Oxytetracyline (2 a day) but I was not consistent with using it because you had to take it 2 hours before after food (it was a pain in the ass!) this cleared up the bigger spots(aswell as using a sunbed, which is an unhealthy but effective short-term fix).

I explained this to my doctor who has given me minocin to help me with my condition.
I suffer with really large, painful spots on the back of my head/neck.

The minocin has completley cleared my head/neck and totally cleared the mild acne i suffered on my face.

I could only shave once a week as my skin used to flare up.
This is a 56 tablet pack (one a day on a full or empty stomach), now i can shave daily with no spots flaring up.
I would recommend asking your doctor for a month course.

I just hope these results are long term and dont make my acne more resistant after I finish this course.

Has anyone found this to completley cure them from acne afer stopping use??

I've been on this for two weeks now, I can see no improvement. My acne is not that bad I just think my doctor is crap. I know that there must be something I can do about it but so far this medicine has been terrible.

I'm on 500mg of this twice a day. It cleared up my face (I'd say about a 90% improvement). I used to get really bad acne all over my body in a number of places, primarily my nose and chin/underneath my lips. Also, I'd get really bad almost cystic acne on my back, arms, and shoulders (even down by my tailbone). Tetracycline stopped all of those, and now I only have about 6 or 7 active pimples on my back at any given time. They do not produce pus and seem to go away in a few days. I highly recommend this antibiotic.

Before I started taking it I had quite a few cysts. My derm was thinking about Accutane but wanted to try this first. It, and using much milder soaps and washing techniques, has made me cyst free, especially on my shoulders. I've been on it for about six weeks, and now I'm seeing a few pimples on my forehead, but not anything worse. The Regimen will probably take care of what's left as soon as I start it.

This stuff was horrible to me. I was on it for a couple weeks and it seemed to be helping a bit and I didn't have any side effects. That is, until I mensutrated for the first time while I was on this medication. After that my body couldn't handle the drug. I'm sure I had a very bad fever (not positive since nobody was around to feel my forehead and I didn't have anything to take my temperature with) one second i'd be freezing my behind off in 3 layers of pajamas and 3 blankets curled up in bed, the next i'm sweating like a pig feeling like i'm being baked from the inside. I was nauseous, felt like my head was going to explode and very light headed. All I could do was lay in bed and try to keep warm/cool and cry. If i stood up within seconds I'd feel like I was about to pass out (not to mention I couldn't see anything because my vision was all blurred and bright) and when I looked in the mirror my eyes were slightly pink and my skin was flushed as if I'd gone on a 10 mile marathon. Just not good, I think it was just my body as i reacted similarly to another antibiotic (once again after my first period while on the med) but just not quite as severe.. I just don't think I agree with antibiotics.

Im using it now, i'm on my second "lot" of it. It has helped slightly, i don't think i have as much acne now but the areas where I have had my acne still remain extremely red which gives my skin an unhealthy appearence. I put 5 for cost because here in the UK...i get it free from my doctor! :) Still, that ain't much help if the dumb thing dont work!!!
