| Bottom line | It was working while i was using it for about a month and then it turns out im allergic to it. Broke out into hives and had to stop using it. I just started going on bactrim, hoping it works =/ |

| Cons | Nausea, hard to fit around my eating schedule, can't lie down 30 minutes after or eat dairy 2-3 hours around it. |
| Bottom line | After using birth control, proactive, neutrogena, clearasil, purpose, cetaphil, vichy, oil of olay, zapzit, etc. I went to the dermatologist and have been on this, differin gel, and dove soap and my acne is almost gone, I am 27 and had it really bad on my cheek areas. Finally I have clear skin. |

| Cons | As stated when you go off of it the acne returns. Antibiotics should not be taken for long periods of time because our bodies can become resistant to it. I take it on and off again for 3-6 month periods. |
| Bottom line | The only medication that has worked for my acne. Affordable and has done wonders for my self esteem! I have PCOS so my acne is caused by imbalanced hormones, birth control pills made it worse and topical creams were useless. It's great to wake up in the morning and not have to worry about weather I broke out overnight! |

| Bottom line | there is only three treatments for acne, anitiboitics, diane 35 and roaccutane. so what options are there?? I have been on tetracycline for 6 months now it only started to work about a month ago. I know from taking antibiotics previousely my acne became resistant to it and it came back worse, i then went onto diane at 17 and it cleared my skin really well until now the age of 25 it returned but its more a mild case this time, still i feel im way to old to have this crap... so im taking them again and they have helped just really scared of what the future holds. im terrified of roaccutane and hoping that it doesn't come down to that. so my advice is take the stuff at least it grants you happiness for some time |

| Cons | You have to keep using it, once you stop they come back. I have been on them for years. Everytime I think I should stop using them I break out all over again!!! |
| Bottom line | It works great, it is a cheap product, but it doesnt feel safe to keep using antibiotics for years. After trying to stop and breaking out again I think that sometimes I will be using this for the rest of my life. |

| Bottom line | I took Tertracyclin when I was a teenager for years. My Doctor swore that it was perfectly safe to take a antibitotic for a long period of time. I know struggle with systematic yeast infections in my 30's. I am now a esthetician and I swear by taking B5 therapy for reducing the oils in your skin which also helps with acne. Its amazing. Its also important to exfoilate your skin at least once a month with a glycolic peel. This has really helped my skin when nothing else has. | Pros | I took the pills for about three months, along with tretinoin cream. I was surprised by how quickly my acne improved. I was very impressed. I experienced no side effects. |

| Cons | I stopped taking the pills for about two months and decided to start taking them again. I found that my acne had worsened. My cheeks are red and they feel/look almost like I have a rash. I'm not sure what to do. I'm frustrated. |
| Bottom line | It's hard to say whether or not I would recommend this product. As I mentioned before, I saw great results. I'm just disappointed that I am no longer seeing the same results. I read the other comments on here, and I had no idea that if you stop taking the pills and then start taking them again, that it can make acne worse. Bottom line, this product may work better for some rather than others. |
