Pros: Works well for my facial acne. I see some results on body acne but not great. Cons: Messes with my eating schedule. Bottom Line: I would give it a try. If you use it I would not expect quick results and maybe a slight flairup at the start. I am seeing improvment but it takes a little time. I am convinced that if I would stick to the reccommended dose on a strict schedule instead of the lazy, uneven way I take it -mostly due to not being able to eat for an hour after taking it or 2-3 before taking it- I would see even better results. For eveyone who has only taken this med for a week or two, I wouldn't give their review much weight with all due respect. My doc said it could take a month or longer and that I could see even worse acne for a short time. It takes time and dicipline if you want any results from my expirience. Also, I do other things on top of this such as medicated soap and BP cream, soon to be replaced by the regimen. Recommended: Yes Usage: andrew has used this item for a few months. Pros: It worked at first and it helps shorten the duration of my acne. It also decrease the pain and inflammation i get from nodular acne. Cons: After using it over the summer. I notice age spots or brown dots on my face. My complexion looks older, i thought i was ageing prematurely but im only 24!!!! Then someone told me it was the tetracyline that caused it...I'm afraid after that happened. Bottom Line: It depends if you want to clear your acne up or get age spots. I guess you can prevent the spots by avoiding the sun or putting alot of sunscreen on. Recommended: No Usage: Jessica has used this item for a few months. Price Paid: 8.00 Was this comment helpful? Pros: none Cons: gives you more acne than what u had before using it.. Bottom Line: o.k maybe is just me but after 2 days taking it i starded breaking out where i did't even had acne before.. i starded getting acne in my chest and the only pleblem i had was on my face. my hole face went from mof=derate to severe using this tupit product my chest went from clear to looking like i had chiken pox.. little red bumps everywhere. maybe i was alergic to it i don't know but this thing made my lfe worse. worst thing i have used in my life ... i used it a year ago and will never try it again Recommended: No Usage: understress has used this item for a day or two. Pros: Cleared up slightly, easily prescribed, lessens oil. Cons: Nausia, dry/flaky skin, yeast infections, reoccurring break outs. Bottom Line: It's worth a try, but it didn't work well for me. Pros: gets rid of cysts Cons: it's an antibiotic Bottom Line: Works great for me. Cleared up my face nicely - used to be on 2 twice a day but now down to 1 twice a day. It keeps the cysts away amazingly well. Now I am just trying to find a bcp that will work just as well but so far it's been a horrendous ride. Recommended: Yes Was this comment helpful? Bottom Line: Be aware - Tetracycline can affect your vision. I took it for a bit, and my vision did change (floaters). I have no proof that these were caused by Tetracycline, but my ophthalmologist told me that it can affect vision. If I could do it over, I WOULD NOT TAKE TETRACYCLINE. It's not worth. Try the so-called "regimen" first. Especially if your acne is not that bad, just relax - it's only acne! It'll probably go away. If it doesn't, then think about medicines. Pros: Cheap. Cons: Everything else. It didn't do anything for my acne, it's a hassle to remember to take it and you have to rearrange all your meals around when you take it. Bottom Line: Don't bother with it. It doesn't help, and it's an antibiotic; we're not supposed to take them for too long because it's not good for our natural bacteria and may render the antibiotic useless in time as bacteria become immune to it. Pros: Prevents cysts very well. Cons: Some GI tract upset. Bottom Line: I'm positive it prevents cysts. I've run out, and started getting the huge deep cysts. pimples suck!!!, england Sep 11th, 2007 How well it works Agreeability Affordability

Pros: not sure yet... been taking it for 4 days now and havent noticed much difference expect I have broken out around my mouth area with annoying pimples and whiteheads.. they are having a party there are so many of them!!!! Cons: has given me the worst headache in months... sometimes feel a little sick but just a general low and weak feeling so far and feeling like poo seeing yet another zit pop up, they have popped up on my cheeks so annoying as they were clear once! Bottom Line: ok here it is, I have only been taking this for 4 days, my dr prescribed me 250mg take two in the morning and two in evening - take on empty stomach with pure water, I am trying to cut of diary loads now! drinking lots of water throughout the day, hoping that the break out is down to this stuff pushing the junk from underneath my skin out, is this true is this what happens?? As I have broke out and have never broken out so much like this for ages!!! so just hoping it is pushing the rubbih up to the top and then will begin to heal & the process of getting clear will begin..hope it heals quickly though as I am starting a new job on monday and just dont want to start a job with a face full of spots!! anyways lets see what happens, guys if u have any update or news on how u did in ur first few days on this I would be so grateful to hear it! good luck to all u guys out there suffering with this horrible thing called acne, it sure sucks! good luck all on this xx Recommended: Yes Usage: pimples suck!!! has used this item for about a week.
