| Pros | - not greasy - good acne control - smells great - don't need to use a lot |
|---|---|
| Bottom line | This works fabulously assuming you are thr right skin type. I am fairly greasy and this works wonders but for some people this may dry you out and may also cause an allergic reaction as it is pretty strong. Be sure to use sparingly, most poor reactions to Tea Tree Oil can be attributed by using in excess. Used correctly this stuff is potent. Be sure to do a test patch to ensure you will not have a bad reaction and make sure to wash your face beforehand. TTO is a strong anti-bacterial so it is best used regularly and not as a last minute treatment - try not to get into open wounds. |

| Pros | Clears out acne if used consistently Cleans acne wounds and sores Anti-bacterial |
|---|---|
| Cons | Its green scent can be overwhelmingly pungent Can sting Can be too drying |
| Bottom line | Tea tree oil saves my day. I used to use OXY with benzoyl peroxide but have found out that tea tree oil is an organic equivalent so I've switched. I have oily face so I apply 2-3 drops evenly over my whole face after moisturizing. It stops acne in its tracks, so to speak. Only bad part about tea tree oil is that when you use too much or too frequently through the day, the oil can dry out your skin and cause it to flake. Just don't be too generous with it. A little goes a long way. |

| Cons | Didn't help acne, but created new red bumps and dry patches. |
| Bottom line | I think I'm allergic to this stuff, and it doesnt help with my pimples at all but makes my face covered in new ones. I used tea tree oil a month ago and it did alright but it didnt help my acne, but a week of using it made my face dry and I had huge orange dry patches on my face. It was horrible and after not using it for awhile, I thought I'd give it a go again thinking that I had just used too much. But the next day my face was itchy and covered with small red bumps. My face looks horrible now, and I will not be using it again. |

| Pros | heals poped pimples fast |
|---|---|
| Cons | casues a lot of new acne to form in usual places...for example my forehead and near the top of my hair line. |
| Bottom line | I tried TTO oil for about 3 weeks and by the end of the 3rd week my face was by far worst than I started. My doctor said stop and use a Dove unscented soap bar and only wash twice a day....my face is actually clearing up. I would not recommend TTO for acne. |

| Pros | -not greasy if you use the right amount -powerful acne fighter, and it evens skin tone. -makes scars fade -easy to use -it works amazingly |
|---|---|
| Cons | hmmmm the smell is quite strong. but its not worth complaining about! |
| Bottom line | I have been using 10 % benzoyl peroxide for about two years; both the cleanser and the after cream. My face has never been so clear and even toned since i switched to using pure tea tree oil. I just ice my face, then wash it with a cleanser; let dry then use a q tip to get a drop of tea tree oil and mix it with moisturizer and rub it in my skin. If you want results try switching to this routine. my skin is now clean and the post acne marks are quickly fading. YAY |

| Pros | it seems to work only need a little |
|---|---|
| Cons | smell is quite strong have to apply frequently |
| Bottom line | It smells quite strong, but after a while of use, you get used to it. I don't mind the smell anymore. I find it almost refreshing. It didn't burn for me at all. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I wouldn't call it a miracle oil. It takes time for it to work. The day after I apply it on a new pimple, it becomes white (looks ready to be popped), as if the oil is speeding up the process of the growth of the pimple, but the next day, it's basically gone, or very easy to get rid of. But when my pimple is white, I feel really gross. I would recommend this product. My skin looks a lot better now. It actually seems to be working on my acne scars as well. Time will tell. But because of the number of negative reviews (some people broke out even more), I would say that the use of TTO is at your own risk. I know that people recommend diluting this product, but what I do is, I put the 100% TTO on my pimples as a spot treatment a couple of times at night, maybe during the day. I avoid doing this before I head out because I don't want to smell like TTO. |

| Pros | Beauty & Bounty Tea Tree update: Ahhh shrunk pimple but seems like created somewhat of a blemsih |
|---|---|
| Cons | Beauty & Bounty Tea Tree Oil Update: I am returning my Nature & Bounty Tea Tree Oil back to Walgreens. I don't know if it's because I didn't give it long enough of a chance or what, but it seemed to make a few bumps on my face develop a red pigmentation. I don't know if it was that or my shower. All I know is I never experienced anything but positive results from Hollywood & Beauty Tea Tree Oil so I am returning the Beauty & Bounty Tea Tree OIl. It also feels like it doesn't shrink it as w |
| Bottom line | I don't know why I don't just stick with what works. I had been using Hollywood & Beauty Tea Tree Oil for next to 2 months and got great results and just HAD to use this other Tea Tree oil product. I guess its because it stated "specifically for your skin" on Beauty & Bounty. All I know is I'm returning Beauty & Bounty Tea Tree Oil. The results don't seem to be the same. Even though I'm black, there was some light red pigmentation next to a couple of bumps on my face after using Beauty & bounty so I've went back to Hollywood & Beauty Tea Tree Oil and am returning Beauty & Bounty today. |

| Pros | Hollywood & Beauty Tea Tree Oil: shrunk bumps and left no blemish after continued use for about 4 or 5 days Nature & Beauty: seems to be reducing redness and bumps (only got it today) |
|---|---|
| Cons | Hollywood & Beauty Tea Tree oil: Runny and may get into the eyes if on lower half of the forehead and on lips if under nose Nature & Bounty Tea Tree Oil: Strong smell |
| Bottom line | Well, I don't know if these Tea Tree Oils are all different from the other but I didn't by this specific brand. I bought the 2 kinds they sold at Walgreens: Nature & Bounty Tea Tree Oil: this is the one with the very very pungent. Sometimes I think the smell is unique, but it's just really odd. Hollwood Beauty Tea Tree Oil: on the label, it states this specific Tea Tree oil as being for the Scalp but I used it on my skin because the lady there told me a number of other people had done so and reported good things. Its very runny on the skin and tends to leak downward no matter how well you rub it in. This tends to cause a stinging sensation to the eyes if it's placed anywhere on the lower to mid half of your forehead. If placed underneath your nose, it runs into your mouth. Maybe that's why they designed this one for the scalp as the above Tea Tree Oil does not have this runniness problem. My trick was putting it on before bedtime so my eyes would be closed because I had a bump on the lower half of my forehead. I am a light-skinned African American male 24 years of age. I do not have bad acne but I get a couple bumps every now and then that leave blemishes that seem to last forever so it is important for me to tackle those bumps and keep them from turning into blemishes. Both Tea Tree Oil products have done that. Both Tea Tree oil products shrunk my developing bumps after only a few days and left no blemish marks on my skin. Just shrunk them until they disappeared. It's important to note that that I have been using Hollywood & Beauty Tea Tree Oil for well over a month now and I only used Nature & Bounty Tea Tree Oil today; however, that being said it seems one of my bumps and some redness is already going down within just a day of using it. The stuff is phenomenal and I wish I had it as a teenager. |

| Pros | Made my skin less oilier |
|---|---|
| Cons | No soaping feeling? |
| Bottom line | I got my Tea Tree Oil Facial Foam at The Body Shop and it really helped my face to be less oily. I also got this other product which is a tea tree oil formula from The Body Shop. I applied it to my ache before sleeping, the next day, my ache is less red. |
