I love tea tree oil! Though it's a bit pricey, especially if you get the organic kinds at Whole Foods, it's well worth it because it works. The first time I used it, my pimples cleared up within a couple of days, and within a week, my skin was glowing. My mom even noticed, and promised to get me more when I run out. Great, natural way to treat your acne!

My dad had always suggested tea tree oil. He bought me some oil and I used it. I was happy with the results. The down side is that it smells and it only works if you are consistent. It tends to dry out the skin pretty bad, so remember to moisturize up!

Instead of the actual oil I opt for buying a face wash with Tea Tree in it.

I used to have really red acne either side of my face, all joined together like big blotches. In Jan I began using a tea tree oil face wash, and it really has worked! My skin isn't completely clear, but the big blotches have gone, and I never thought they would. The face wash was expensive, but the bottle lasted a good 6 months cause you only need a little.

I also sometimes use tea tree oil face wipes but I wouldn't reccomend as much as the face wash because even though they're quick and easy, I've found they can leave skin rather dry.

I use pure jojoba oil mixed with a few drops of Australian Tea Tree Oil, and a few drops of pure Lemon essential oil and it works great. Lavendar works great too, as it has healing and antibacterial properties. Actually, lots of essential oils (make sure they have the Latin name on the bottle) are good for acne, like rosemary, clary sage, chamomile, and sandalwood (but sandalwood is VERY expensive). Anyway, my jojoba oil concoction has worked better than any prescription I have used, because it doesn't dry out my face, and even gets at those pimples that haven't made it to the surface (those little white bumps.) As far as cleansing my face, I alternate between a salicylic acid wash and Burt's Bees products, which are natural and very gentle. A lot of the problem is that the harsher treatments dry out your face, making your face compensate by producing more oil which will clog your pores. If you are going to use something harsh on your face, at least use something gentle along with it so you don't kill your skin in the process. :)

i think mayeb i used 2 much of this stuff, i used to get the pure australian kind and put it on a cotton pad like u would with an astringent and applied it all over my face and my face would burn for a lil while after and it would dry up so bad and it didnt even work. now im just using BP, but im so fustrated because nothign ever works for those little [censored] that come out on my face to ruin every [censored] day. only thing that worked was some amoxicillin but even that doesnt work anymore it sucks.

I started using Basis soap bar for acne and break outs. you can buy it at the drug store. make sure you get the one for pimples. B/P was so irritating. This soap bar is cheap and works well! It's worth a try. Also I wear dermablend make up for breakouts with S/A to cover up when I go out. It really does a good job of covering. Check out the internet if you can't find dermablend makeup in the department store. I hope this helps.

I purchased my tea tree oil from natures inventory on ebay and have been amazed. I have tried it full strength but am really overpowered by the smell. I have found it works well will jojoba oil as a nightly moisturizer and in my mary kay moisterizer in the daytime. Tea Tree oil is effective because it actually penitrates the skin to disolve the sebum inside the pimple. I added it to the regimin because I have a problem with witeheads that the regimin did not effectivly reduce. This is working well so far. It should be stated that Tea tree oil is a member of the terpintine family and should never be used on young children, birds or cats. In extreme moderation it works very well to kill mites and fleas on dogs!

I Loved Tea Tree Oil. Its very affordable and works great. Ive had mild acne for along time, and worse yet on my back. I do have sensative skin, so daily usage is out of the question, but on my back, my bf rubs the oil on after my shower every other day, and every 3-4 days on my face. It works great. It stings a bit, but it feels like a clean sting, which I like. Only negetive...I will only use this at night because you will smell all day if you use it in the morning, its STRONG smelling.

Ive been using tea Tree oil for the past 2 weeks and have noticed that the spots have gone down, all i have now is red marks but hopefully they will dull down.. the dryness is abit ugly but hey! who cares, wait until your friends start to notice the difference.
Hopefully this will boost my confidence. But Seriously tea tree oil is Worth it!
