My mum used to apply on me when i had a break out - i used it by putting several drops of thursday plantation - the original tea tree oil in a small cup on water (about 70mLs or so) and applying it to my face with some cotton balls or a make up remover pad and it worked well. It was better than other products i used from woolies, clearsil and dettol face washes dry my face out alot.

I have mild acne on my cheeks and chin but mostly on my chin. I decided to try Proactive and it completely burnt my face and made my skin so dry i couldnt even smile, unfortunately im alergic to BP and found out the hard way i was left with that red and dry face for a couple of weeks so i decided to use L'oreal pure face wash, toner & moisturiser with S.Acid and for the acne i dab some tea tree oil on them morning and night and find that it helps them to heal alot faster. i recommend this natural product to everyone that has tried so many products and just doesn't seem to work for them.

BP without overdrying effects. Doesn't do much with red marks but it definately helps to flatten pimples/cysts.

I use it before and it was okay. It did dry up pimples like BP. but it was over drying as well. The smell was bad. I used this oil for about 3 months and my skin became pretty sensitive to it and it started to burn with every use, so I stopped.Although it's a great alternative to BP the results aren't as quick as BP.

Works great on inflamed angry spots. I used the Thursdayplantation oil 100% on a massive spot that appeared on my cheek. Within one day the inflamation had GONE! I've started to use it everyday now on my entire face (only a small amount though, don't want to burn my face off!) I'll let you all know how it goes!

I have tried Bp as guided in the regiem but noticed that my skin was really red and irritating so i switched to tea tree oil and have had amazing results. Also i use 50% glycolic acid once a week for my acne scars.

I found Australian Tea Tree Oil at Wal-Mart (I think near the band-aids) for under $5 for a bottle. I find it works great on my big, sore cyst-type pimples. I wash my face, usually with Burt's Bees Tomato Soap (doesn't smell like tomatoes; it actually has a very nice scent and leaves my skin feeling really clean), and then dab on the Tree Tea Oil generously with a cotton ball. Yes, it does have a strong smell, but that dissipates (especially since we have a fan in our bedroom). By morning, my nasty sore has calmed down and is usually gone completely within a couple days after doing this procedure every night. On the occasions when it's a particularly difficult sore, I even dab the oil on in the morning, wait several minutes for it to dry, and then put makeup on as usual. I'm definitely a fan of this stuff, though my husband says I smell like something from the hardware store! LOL

Tea Tree Oil is incredibly the best product I've ever used. I was on Acutane for 4 months only to produce horrible side effects. My skin was good for about 2 months after I stopped, and now I am back to normal. Tea tree is great to put in a sink of warm water and cleanse your face with. Then, if you have any black/white heads or cystic acne (which I get), dap the pure oil on the spot over night. The swelling will have reduced and within 2-3 days the spot will be gone. Don't dab it on in the morning because people will be smelling your stink untill mid-afternoon. E-mail me @ kristi_noelle@shaw.ca if you need any more advice. Honestly, after being on 4 different anti-biotics, 5 prescription acne-creams, and accutane I believe 100% that the natural approach, using God-made products (from the earth), that acne can be cured with regular use of Tea Tree Oil. Try it.........It Works!
