Pros Works, cheaper than any product I have tried.
Cons None.
Bottom line I was 26 when I started getting acne the cyst type, big, swollen and painful, not to mention ugly. I'm 56 now and have tried every product from the dermatologists, products on tv to natural remedies. Nothing worked for me. One day I was reading in the forums on this site. When someone said they used tea tree oil to cure her acne I thought what the heck I had a bottle in the cabinet, so I tried it. Was I surprised when it worked. I have been using tea tree oil for 2 months now. I still get bumps but not those cysts type and all those scars and old dark spots are gone and the new bumps go away in a couple of days. I LOVE TEA TREE OIL. Now my face feels smoother and looks so much better and my face don't hurt anymore.
I would recommend TTO.

Pros Reduces size of acne, Good for whiteheads and random breakouts caused by mistreatment of skin, Good substitute for BP
Cons Dryness, Strong smell, itchiness,
Bottom line I used this as a replacement for my extended addiction to Proactive, and it worked great as a spot treatment for acne that's coming to the surface. I wouldn't use it all over my face though--too drying. In general, this dries my skin far too much for everday use, but if you're trying to wean yourself off BP then this is good. But it really doesn't improve overall skin health and is best used as a spot treatment for acne caused by overnight bacteria.

Pros Natural, ACTUALLY works, doesn't age skin like BP does! or cause further scarring like BP does! Doesn't cause swelling like BP does!
Helps with itchiness and minimizes pores, kills bacteriea, reduces oil,
smells better then most drugstore produ
Cons You have to figure out yourself how much to dillute as it's different for all, but then again that could also be a pro as the drugstore crap desides for us and treats all as if we are the same and that's not realistic at all.
Bottom line TRY it!!!
I wish I did a long time ago.
Saved myself some scarring and the emotional and physical agony!

Pros It tries up my zits completely
Cons It also tries out your skin with continuous use
Bottom line It smells pretty strong, but put it on a night and you will wake up to way better skin!!! I even rub it all over my chest at night. This by far is the best acne treatment money can buy!

Pros Cleared up outbreak within 2 weeks. Helps keep zits away.
Cons STRONG smell.
Bottom line I had a horrible outbreak that would not go away. It was itchy and just so sore! Nothing like I have had before. BP just made it worse. So I found tea tree oil myself! and started taking DOXY (from my doc) and it finally went away ,after 3 months of asking around and no one having a solution. Now I wash with a tea tree oil face wash, oil spot treatments, night repair lotion, and body wash. ITS WORKING GREAT! And its natural. So try it..what have u got to lose? Remember it will take a few weeks to see results and to rub in the pure t.t. oil well into skin.

Pros Give it a couple days and it's awesome!
Cons Takes a few days to work
Bottom line I love this face wash. I have sensitive skin, but it didn't burn my face. Some people say it smells. Personally, I think it has a very good, medicinal smelling smelly smell. =)

Pros reduces redness, swelling, and size of the pimples after only a few applications!
Cons obnoxious smell and dries up your skin pretty badly.
Bottom line if you want results quickly, try the tea tree oil. i've been having major issues with my acne for five years and after two applications of the 100% tea tree oil, i have already noticed a great difference. of course it is not MAGIC and make everything go away, but i've really noticed a difference and my pores are smaller and tighter and it has significantly reduced the number of blackheads.

Pros - Will dry out pimples overnight. Reduced approx 60%.
- Helps remove dead skin by drying out dead skin cells.
- Will effectively kill bacteria on the surface.
Cons - Will make skin red and irritable for an hour if used excessively.
- For 25ml, you will expect to pay approx $12.
Bottom line You MUST use 100% natural strength Tea Tree Oil. Please do not use too much, it is meant for individual pimples only due to its potency, although if you gently apply a little on you whole face, it should still be fine espeically if you mix it with something gentle, like a non-comedogenic moisturiser or aloe vera. It is natures Benzoyl Peroxide! Serious. So it will sting like hell if your skin is not used to it. The best time to apply it is a couple of seconds after you dry yourself off after your shower. That way, your pores will still be a little open, and the tea tree oil can seep in to do its job. (This is the same for ALL acne treatments...You want your pores to be open during....then closed after you finish the treatment). Remember, it should not be your only acne treatment. The tea tree should be the final thing you apply, unless you put on make-up (which I suggest you don't do too much of). Never BUY any product that doesn't say NON-COMEDOGENIC & don't use anything with alcohol!

Pros see bottom line
Cons not a pretty smell by itself
Bottom line HAVE USED FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS. GOOGLE - TEA TREE OIL USES. I have used it on acne (have a friend that no longer wears make up because her face has totally cleared up), ringworm on foster puppy was gone within a week (hair was even growing back on ringworm site), a fever blister never got more than 1 bump (use qtip), no dandruff after 33 yrs of many expensive products, just put it in my regular shampoo(now wearing those sliming black shirts all the time, no more snow storms on my shoulders). use it in walmart brand lavender baby soap for my dogs(they smell so good) & haven't had fleas in 10 yrs (except 2 weeks that I had to dog sit: he had fleas, I gave him a bath - no more fleas until he went back home). use on my daughter's (17yo) back for her rheumatoid arthiric back pains. friend gave me new use, few drops on razor before shaving legs prevents hair bumps & fungus on son's toes is gone.
