Pros: Dries up acne super quick, even overnight. I believe that it kills the bacteria that causes acne too. Cons: The smell is so pungent. heh. My boyfriend calls it "doo doo oil". Good thing that smell is only temporary and I think taste too. Also it dries up your skin, which works out for me because I have oily skin. Bottom Line: I think it's worth a shot. I have oily skin and moderate acne. It may not work for you but like I said, I think that it's worth a shot. I just ordered jojoba oil from "Ditto's Wholesale" because it's cheaper and they just sent me an email promoting tea tree oil... "Preliminary scientific research (mainly in vitro) supports claims for various health benefits for tea tree oil . Inhaled, tea tree oil is said to make breathing easier by "breaking up congestion". It supposedly can alleviate a sore throat and minimize the symptoms of cold, flu and systemic fungal infections.As a bath additive it may control bacteria in spas and pools. Massaging diluted tea tree oil into the affected area may alleviate the discomfort of sore muscles or joint injuries. It also reduces hypertrophic scarring. Tea tree oil has been found to kill Propionibacterium acnes; the main cause of acne vulgaris both in vitro and in vivo." I hope that this information helps you even in a little way. BYE! Pros: Has reduced my breakouts, blackhead and redness significantly. Cons: I like the smell, my husband hates it. It takes a commitment of time to see significant results (2-3 months). It's a natural product that takes time to work. At first I had dry, flakey skin but that has all stopped once my skin got healthy from it Bottom Line: Think this is the best thing I have done for my skin ever! It's super affordable to buy a $8 bottle of Tea Tree oil that lasts six months. I love the tingly sting it gives my face. I'm amazed that my red coloring around my nose is almost gone (I'm 38 and have struggled with acne for years)and my black heads on my nose are quite minimized. My T-Zone oily skin has been more evened out and my red blochy spots are minimizing. I think this prodect is worth a try but it needs more than a week for results. Pros: shrinks already exsisting zits and stops new ones from forming. Cons: no cons for me!! Bottom Line: I wash my face with a mild cleanser then drench my skin in 100% pure tea tree oil. Pros: Supposedly keeps lice away, if put in the hair. Cons: Since I started using a facial soap containing Tea Tree Oil, my cheeks are constantly red. I look embarrassingly bad. Figured out it was caused by the Tea Tree Oil. Bottom Line: Proceed with caution, unless you want to look like a radish! Seriously. Pros: it makes pimples smaller and prevents new ones from forming Cons: smell it smells like australia ,it also burns a bit when its put on but afer using benziyl peroxide for a year i am used to stinging skin Bottom Line: yes i reccomend it and just like benzoyl peroxide it takes a while to start working but people with severe acne shouldn`t use it i only get a few whiteheads Recommended: Yes Usage: josh has used this item for about a week. Pros: gets rid of zits Cons: Tea Tree Oil wipes from the Body Shop are kind of pricey Bottom Line: I tend to get really large zits, usually right before my period, and I noticed that tea tree oil really helps prevent those zits. I've used the tea tree oil wipes from the Body Shop, as well as their tea tree oil cleanser (the smell isn't as strong as using the oil straight from the bottle). Pros: It clears some of your acne up Cons: smells terrible and blinds your eyes a bit Bottom Line: The bottom line is it does help with small pimples. It worked for me a treat. It cleared some of my pimples up but not all. If you have very severe acne I do not reccomend this but its good for people with tiny spots.
