| Pros | - Takes the soreness and tenderness away from moderate/ severe acne cysts - Can help clear less severe acne completely |
|---|---|
| Cons | - If you put too much on it can burn your skin |
| Bottom line | I am currently between acne treatments as due to side effects I have had to come off minocycline tablets. I have suffered with cystic acne since I was 19, I am now 24. Whilst between treatments, I have purchased a tea tree oil based body wash as well as 10 ml of pure tea tree oil. I shower twice a day and use a very small amount of the body wash. Then after showering, I wet either a cotton wool bud or cosmetic pad with warm water, add a couple of drops of tea tree oil, then wipe over my acne. For bigger acne cysts (as in 2cm plus in size and even touching them caused you to wince in pain), I do not dilute the tea tree oil with warm water, add a few drops directly once or twice a day. As my acne blockages are quite deep it does not cure my acne completely, but it makes it so much easier to live with. It takes away much of the soreness and tenderness and has helped clear some of the smaller spots. It also helps to prevent infection. |

| Pros | Super good. Compared to proactiv the cost is nothing. Doesn't smell as bad as you'd think. Easy to get in some places. Less oil on your face. |
|---|---|
| Cons | When I first started I was a little put off because it made little pustules start coming out but they eventually went away. You'll want to use this product forever = ADDICTION. |
| Bottom line | Absolutely excellent, cleared my skin up really well. Now it's smooth and really nice. It does get rid of that extra oil. I also use Clean+Clear Morning Burst face wash and Garnier toner. I use to get little to no results with those two but by using them I did keep the zits at bay. Now that I use the tea tree oil mask the results are more amazing than I thought they would be. I used the proactiv mask before that but it dried out my skin and the smell in the morning and all day long was awful. When I first started using the tea tree oil mask I left it on all day and night between washings. Now I put it on during the night on bad spots and patches that I use to have and it's definitely working. A 10 minute use two or three times a week would not work for me. Touching your face/rubbing on a pillow or blanket WILL take it off. Touching your face WILL cause you to get pimples. Best of luck and an excellent choice to whoever wants to use it! |

| Pros | It makes my post-acne less redder and it worked the first day I applied it on. A week later, it has helped me remove at least 50-70% of my red marks. |
|---|---|
| Cons | May be quite expensive but I was able to get a cheap one with a discount. |
| Bottom line | Great smell, Natural |

| Pros | helps get rid of pimples a little, pleasent cooling effect |
|---|---|
| Cons | didn't work very well for me. |
| Bottom line | I have to say I rather like the smell, and after you put it on theres a great cooling effect on your skin which feels wonderful. It worked great for eveyone else so give it a shot or try lavender oil which worked for me. |

| Pros | Works fast at least for me |
|---|---|
| Cons | Can be a liitle expensive, dris out the skin |
| Bottom line | I used so many products and nothing has seemed to work. I had very bad acne and hated looking in the mirror. My cousin was the one that introduced me to tea tree. I lie to you not, after the first week of using we both noticed a major difference. I could not believe it. I literally cried my eyes out. I was so surprised to see how fast it had worked. I've had many people tell me that my face looks really good. Now my mother uses the line. All I can say is just give it a try and if it doesn't work for you just keep looking for what works for you |

| Pros | the 100% natural tea tree oil works great |
|---|---|
| Cons | The Body Shop products aren't as healthy as you think!!! |
| Bottom line | Ingredients in Tea Tree Oil Scrub: Glycerin, Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Beeswax, Cetearyl Alcohol, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Tea Tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia) Powder, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Panthenol, Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Methyldibromo Glutaronitrile, Isobutylparaben, Propylparaben, Chromium Hydroxide Green, Titanium Dioxide, Yellow 5, Quinoline Yellow, Blue 1. Parabens are BAD for you!!! I suggest using the natural kind of tea tree oil 100%. Soak a cotton ball in water and use a drop of tea tree oil on it. Apply on acne overnight. |
