Pros: Nice cooling sensation, gives that clean feeling after use, light tingle, doesn't irritate my skin, reduced redness and acne Cons: Smells very strong, but doesn't last. Smells stongest and lasts longest first use. Smell also lingers for a while, but less concentrated. Probably wouldn't want to use it before you go out. Has a sort of minty smell, if you like that kind of scent Bottom Line: I have pretty good skin, as far as acne goes, but it always bugs me how some sections of my face are smooth and clear, while others are red and bumpy. I wanted to have all of it smooth and clear, but all the kits and washes didn't seem to work right. So, I did some research and was immediately interested in tea tree oil when I read about it. So I went out and bought it. I really love it. I bought it just the other day at Target, it was the last bottle! I used it before I went to bed, and when I woke up, my skin had visibly gone down in redness. It sounds crazy, but my skin actually feels happy now that I'm using it. I just dab a bit on a cotton ball and wipe it all over my face, apply mosturizer if I feel that I need it, and I'm good! I'm not a fan of the smell, but I guess I don't mind it too much. I can't wait for it to clean up the rest of my acne and keep it that way :)! Recommended: Yes Usage: Jennifer has used this item for a day or two. Pros: You can feel it work with this powerful burn, its fun. I use it straight from the bottle with a cotton bud but you should be aware that you may need to dilute. so far im at the flaking stage and this is the first week so it moves at a decent pace. Cons: the smell, fine if you're not going anywhere but a little obvious if you are. Bottom Line: try it, its working for me, none of this body shop crap, go to a specialist health shop. Pros: Clean feeling, and burns. I like the burn as it feels like it is going through my skin and you know, work it's way XD Cons: Most being don't like the burning sensation, i like it though Bottom Line: It works, won't work imediatly, but will work, srsly. Pros: Works really good on acne! Cons: Dries out skin alot, burns a bit, smells bad. Bottom Line: After I wash my face at night with a makeup remover cloth I usually just put a little tea tree oil on a cotton ball and apply it all over my face. Pros: good for sensitive skin (just apply the correct diluted amount) Cons: -not so fast in clearing acne scars Bottom Line: I have tried body shop's tea tree oil and I broke out. But now I am using a tea tree oil from my derma and it worked amazingly. Maybe they differ in concentration?I don't know. So I advice those who have broke out with body shop's tea tree oil to try using other brands of tea tree oil. It might work out for you as well. Pros: - cleared up skin by 75% (and more after every use) - after application, skin feels all shook up Cons: - a little over drying if applied "neat" - may draw a few whiteheads (but is better than red mountains imo) Bottom Line: I recently embarked on a natural face routine after I was struck down by the acne at 18. I am now 19 and the buggers are still present. At its worst, my face was red all over with large cystic acen and a few thousand white/blackheads. Now I jog every morning, eat more healthily, consume less fizzy drinks and stick to a strict routine concerning my face. After jog, immediately shower. Wash face with 100% tea tree oil soap. Rinse off. With cotton ball put some water on it with 3-6 drops of 100% pure tea tree oil and pat over affected areas. Pat dry, Spray with Avene Water Spray. Then dry my face via a fan (no pat dry). If a little dry, dab some jojoba oil on the flaky areas. Then bam! Clean feeling skin! Thank you very much ! Recommended: Yes Usage: Elvis has used this item for a few weeks. Pros: It works well. I tried it on my sons face because he was getting the puberty/teen acne which started out on his forehead. I was getting worse as time went on. Pros: Gets rid of AND prevents zits and acne every time! Cons: temporary smell that goes away in a short while Bottom Line: Tea tree oil has worked for me for years! If I don't use it I break out. If I eat chocolate I break out, but if I am using tea tree oil EVERY DAY I never ever break out. If I forget and start to have a zit I just use tea tree oil and it goes away. I have told my friends and strangers about this for several years now. FABULOUS PRODUCT! I get mine from Whole Foods. Just don't get it in your eyes!
