Pros Cheap, natural, smells invigorating. Works so well you will wonder why you hadn't thought of it sooner.
Bottom line first of all after reading all of these reviews (literally all of them) I have come to the conclusion that "The Body Shop" line is crap. Seriously, I tried it and thought it was joke and everyone has confirmed on these reviews. TBS uses only the cheapest ingredients to MASS market to the public. Go to saje.ca to find the most organic facial wash, toner and moisturiser. It's called ACNE ZAP. I have been using this line for a 3 days and I am smooth, radiant and free of those nasty bumps. (the ones you that just beg to be popped and when you do you end up with a larger zit) Stop using chemicals and return to something more natural. I also have read that the properties in Tea tree Oil help to balance horomones ( another culprit contributing to acne flare ups) around that time of the month.
Nothing has worked better for me than this line of Tea Tree Oil products! there is literally 10 ingredients in each of the products and you can pronounce all of them! for example: The toner consists of : purified water, liquid mineral salts, essential oil of tea tree, geranium, patchouli and juniper berry.
Thats it! The whole kit cost me less than 40 bones and it is made, manufactered 100% CANADIAN! Try it! If this helps even one person get their flippin skin back to normal and regain some sanity and confidence back than give it a shot. Its wonderful.

Pros Genuinely effective, inexpensive, practical.
Cons Puts dermatologists out of business.
Bottom line I have suffered from moderate acne for about 14 years. I've gone to dermatologists, and tried over-the-counter brand treatments. I've been using Proactive for the past 2 years.

Heading into my mid-twenties, I'm completely fed up with the embarrassment, pain, cost and stigma that comes along with acne.

I read a review on this cite about tea tree oil. It was suggested to mix egg whites and a bit of the oil and apply as a mask. I gave it a whirl, and I kid you not, in one week (after a decade and a half) my face has cleared. I don't have one single white head or pimple. This is a first for me since junior high.

It may not work for everyone, but it absolutely worked for me. In 7 days, during "lady time" and in the face of a law school mid-term, my face is finally clear from a very simple, inexpensive home remedy.

Thank you to all of you who pointed me to my solution.

Pros natural, availability, clean feeling
Cons price
Bottom line I have been using tea tree oil for about 4 weeks now, and its awesome. BP was just too harsh on my skin and instead decided to give TTO a try. After a week i noticed its powers on the pimples that i had. Some say that it burns, but to me its more like an "Icy" feeling that goes away quickly. I very much like that feeling on my skin because i know that it is working. I haven't had such smooth & clear looking skin since Junior High!!! Regimen: I use it 2 - 3X a day. I add some drops to my gel cleanser and massage my face. Pat dry. I use Witch Hazel as a toner. Finally, i again add some drops to my moisturizer and off i go. Bonus: Try using it with Aloe Vera Gel. No itchy, redness, or flaky skin. Soft, smooth, even toned 8 )

Pros Cleared up excema
Cons nothing
Bottom line I get recurring excema on face with acne on chin. I add a drop of tea tree oil to my moisturizer and apply to face. Adding to lotion reduces smell and direct oil to skin contact. This has worked fantastic! This allows me to moisturize my face without breakouts AND it's cleared the excema patch on the left side of face. ALSO works on toe nails!

Bottom line I always dab tea tree oil onto a spot when one comes up and it makes them disappear much quicker! I also love that I'm putting something natural on my skin!

Pros its natural, not as drying as bp
Cons smell, messiness, bit expensive, it only works to a certain extent
Bottom line it did not clear all of my acne, so my face was never fully clear, i personally think bp is better but bp is more drying than this, but i still think everyone should try it, cuz theres no harm in trying it might work better for you than it did for me

Pros Not expensive
Cons Smells bad
Stings/Burning sensation
Bottom line My skin was normal and not sensitive at all before I used this product. My breakouts were only one or two small pimples here and there occasionally..otherwise, I had perfect skin. I tried this product as my friend simply raved about it saying how she never has pimples because of it.

I used it one time at night before I went to bed. The next day I woke up and my face felt itchy and painful. I rushed to the bathroom mirror and my face was completely red and covered in cystic-like acne and acne vulgaris. It was so terrible and happened so fast (overnight) that my own brother could not recognize me.

At first, we thought it was an allergic reaction to the product so my parents brought me the doctor. He simply diagnosed it as a severe case of acne and unable to explain how it suddenly happened. Determined, my parents brought me to several dermatologists hoping to fix my "mess up". My parents ended up spending thousands of dollars with many dermatologists only to finally give up 3 years later.

I first used this product when I was 17 years old. I am now 25 and still paying the price. It has only been recently that my face has gotten better. However in place of all the acne are now many enlarged pores, scars, and "craters". What's worse is that my face is now very sensitive to many products so I am not even able to wear any kind of make-up without breaking out. I would not wish the emotional trauma this has caused me to even my worst enemy. I would give anything to have my perfect skin back with the occasional small pimples here and there.

On a final note, please please, if you really insist on trying any products, find a GOOD dermatologist and consult with him/her first. It would also be best to test a patch of skin first for any harmful reactions. Everyone's skin may react differently to any product and it is better to be safe than sorry especially when it concerns your face.

Pros Works good so far!
Cons Smell is strong, you get used to it.
Bottom line From reading many of the reviews the bad ones seem to be from people using the Body Shop line of tea tree oil, wonder why that is.

But I got a small bottle from Trader Joe's and so far it works good. I like the tingly feeling, feels like its working. Immediately after putting it on a couple pimples ive noticed a decrease in size. Im just starting out so theres still much to clear up.
