Did nothing but make everything rise to the surface of the skin-and that is where it stayed and is still there after 2 months of not using it. What a waste. The only thing this cream did was make my skin more oily.

Im glad to see im not the only one with those problems after using Tazorac.

I didnt use it for few weeks, because i have to stop when my skin is burnt. Anyways, you have to go progressivly. 10 minutes by day, then, you keep it for 1 hour... and after 2-3 weeks, you keep it for the whole night.

I dont know why, but when i apply the cream, my skin is so oily. Anyways, i have to wash my face and put anoter layer before going to bed. So, its normal if all my kysts are showing after few days ? And its better after ? Because i was scared it was getting worst...

Good luck to all of you !

At first this product dried my skin out and made it really red, but after the first two monthes It was better, I see an large reduction in the number of pimples, but it did not stop them all together. Also, it leaves alot of dead peeling skin on my face

I first used tazorac cream .1 %. It cleared my acne, but it caused my face to become red and dried it out severly. I am now using .05% gel. The lower strength gel is working great without the excess drying. I have had alot of success using it with a good moisturizer like Correctionist (from Sally Beauty supply stores). Use the lower strength tazorac gel to prevent redness and drying. The gel also dries out my skin, but really clears the acne. Just remember to use a good moisturizer with it! Good luck!

Worked really really well once I was able to tolerate it. Very very red, peeling and a little itchy in the beginning, but once my face got used to it, it worked very well. Completely got rid of my cysts, and helped with other kind of pimples as well. Use this correctly (i.e. in a very small amount- one pea sized portion for your whole face) and stick with it to see improvement.

Tazorac has made my skin ultra sensitive. When I go into the ocean, the salt water actually burns my face. The first week or so I used it, My face expierienced a constant redness and burning sensation. That much stopped, but whenever I put it on, I feel an itching all over my face for a while. It made a lot of my impurities rise to the surface giving my skin the appearence that it was even worse. It helped to clear up large pimples but did very little for smaller ones and absolutely nothing for black heads. In conjunction with antibiotics, Duac, monthly facials with extractions, and a strict skin care regimen after about 8 months, my skin is really not that much better, though at times it does clear up. Tazorac is basically hell, but after a few weeks the worst is over, and you might as well live with it. The .05% cream and the .1% cream were ineffective. For any results at all, use the .1% gel

I got free samples from my dermatologist. I gave up after about a week because my skin started to peel off. It was severe, too--like I had gotten major sunburn.
