Tazorac has saved my skin. I began to see results within days of my first use. For a couple months I did experience peeling, but the skin underneath the peeling was nearly flawless. During this period I applied a mild facial lotion numerous times every night after applying the Tazorac. This helped to sooth my skin greatly. I now use Tazorac only a couple times a week to keep my breakouts from returning. The initial cost is high. However, I have been using the product for 11 months and am still on my first tube. I would recommend this product to anybody. Before I started using it, I didn't like to leave my house. Now, I don't even worry about applying makeup before I leave.

I have moderate acne, and was perscribed Tazorac as my first medication. It made my face so red, and i would often get these hot flashes to my face that were quite embarressing. Also the peeling can be a huge pain in the ass, like makeup cannot cover it because your face is so dry. However, it made my face much smoother, but the side effects outweighed the actual product. I would reccomend this as a summer product, if you are still in school because the side effects will make you look very weird.

I only used this for one night and my face broke out sooooo bad!! I may have put too much on but I doubt it. But I only put it around my chin and then my cheeks. And the next morning I had like 5 HUUUUGE red ones on my forhead!! So I stopped using it and now 3 days later my face is getting a little better but it still is dry around my chin. I left it on that entire night too which was probaly a mistake. So im thinking I might get back on it but only leave it on for about 3 minutes and then washing it off. But seriously, Im 18 fixin to be 19 and Im just hoping my acne will clear up. I heard Green tea by Lipton help alot!! So Im gonna try that and just continue Clearasil Ultra (Daily Face Wash and Scrub) twice a day. But by reading these forums... I dont know if i should start using it again. ^@$! ACNE!!

To all you who have been prescribed TAZORAC for your acne please give this wonderful medication time to work. You should start seeing a dramatic difference in about 8 to 12 weeks. I have struggled with my Acne for over 15 years and this was the first product (I've tried everything from Retin-A, to ProActiv, to Antibiotics)that has successfully cleared my skin. I am absolutely ACNE free.

And the best part is once it settles into your system you can even skip nights without applying it. Just be patient and allow it to purge all of the impurities out of your system first.

I just started i'm at week 2 and really all i have to show is peely red skin. I hope to see results like the other lucky ones but i wil remain patient. Did anyone else suffer from deep blackheads and if so did the Tazorac help? I would appreciate the feedback.

I was about to give up on this product and about to think nothing was going to help, but all of a sudden after about 2 months, everything started improving and I finally have a peaches and cream complexion.

I'm a fifteen year old girl plagued with moderate acne and oily skin, it's awful.
I was using Benzamycin PAK for a while before I switched derms, and she put me on Tazorac. I noticed almost immediate results! My skin texture was smoother, my skin wasn't so red, and my acne was going away quicker. I'd advise staying at home for the first week if you can/like, the peeling makes it impossible to successfully put makeup on.

Don't get discouraged either, give it a chance! I'm almost at the four week point, and a little while ago I was bummed because I felt it wasn't working anymore. But like they say, it has to get worse before it gets better sometimes. Hang in there! I've also been using Rosula on specific pimples, it really seems to work too!
