Tazorotene (Tazorac, Avage) Reviews

I use the cream version. It has cleared up my acne, and is not at all drying (unlike every other acne topical I have ever tried). For those who find tazorac drying, you should ask your doctor to switch to the cream version.

Used two months - red dry cracked skin now with more acne that is red and angry and REALLY noticable - I quit this medicine.

I have been using it for a week and it burns like heck! It is very red and flaky. And after showering and drying off, the skin becomes so dry that I am unable to open my mouth without difficulty.

However, it does seem to be clearing up my chin, which was bad, so it does work, I guess.

Well, you know what they say, "no pain, no gain".

I have startrd to used it and already i see resukts but applying vita-k scaring and bruising works wonders with the scars...

I have been using Tazorac for over 3 months. I had two large cysts on my face for about 2-3 months. It was so awful.My doctor gave me Tazorac. It helped make the cysts go down, but I still have red marks. I haven't gotten any zits tho. My doctor is certain that I will have no scarring but who knows. This product is OK, but definatley not fast working

I would not recommend this product for people with sensitive skin. Using the recommended dosage only made my skin peel and made my skin extremely irritated. I only use it at a spot treatment for oily ones to dry them out and it helps them heal faster and can help even out skin tone. Don't use this on your whole face, only on certain areas and don't use it every day either.

I have been on Tazorac for over a year now and it does not work. My skin feels like it is burnt and dry and I still get acne. It seems like it brings out more acne.

My god, this product is a nightmare. I used it the recommended amount of time. It made my otherwise oily skin dry, red, flakey, sensitive, and irritated. My face would HURT. AND I STILL HAD ACNE. I gave this a good amount of time to work and it failed me.

I'm still trying to adjust to the cream, I've only been using it for a week. It makes my face feel like the top layer was peeled off then rubbed with alcohol, and it makes my skin peel...but I haven't had any outbreaks since I started using it. For the first time in two years, my skin is smooth.

mmm...well what can I say, I have only been using this fro a week or so, MY FACE FEELS LIKE ITS GOING TO MELT OFF. Not even kidding, its so warm and red. Sigh* I was so excited, I really hope things get better, cause the pain I am going through now better not be for nothing.
