Pros:none that I know of
Cons:made face oilier which caused break outs
Bottom Line:Originally, I was using Retina Micro...that was working really well, but my dermatologist still noticed my skin was really oily, so she said start using Tazorac, it will take away all of the oil and dry your skin up...she also mentioned to make sure my face was COMPLETELY dry before I put it on because if not it would become so dry it irritated my skin. I followed directions and my face has been oily still after having it for the past month...even oilier than it was on Retina Micro. Which means I break out more now. I even tried making sure my face wasn't water free and it was still oily!! :( I will be going back to my doctor before school's start I suppose!

Pros:get rid of acne scars, heals acne quickly
Cons:it can be drying, expensive
Bottom Line:I love this product. i've only been using it for a week, but i can already see a big difference. my skin is more even and ALL OF THE ACNE IS HEALED. the only thing i don't like about it is that it can make my skin dry... to avoid that apply the medicene 30 minutes after you wash your face

Pros:One tube lasts a long time! I mean at least 6 months

Bottom Line:I started using Tazorac about 2 years ago and I love it. I used to have really bad redding acne but when I use this along with Oscion Cleanser (3%) my face looks amazing. I've noticed what works the best is washing my face before bed, then apply a thing layer of Tazorac on my face RIGHT before I go to sleep. I've noticed that if I apply it and stay up for a few hours, it doesn't seem to work as well.

Bottom Line:This product works very well for me. I noticed a very slight increase in breaking out just in the first month of use. I followed the directions exactly and only used Taz every other day for the first week or so. I also only used a tiny amount. I had no redness, drying, or peeling that others have described. After the first month my skin was very clear and smooth. I've been using Taz for a year now and haven't had any problems...only great skin!

Pros:I LOVE IT. i used it consistently for over a year, and my acne scarring has reduced CONSIDERABLY. love it love it love it.
Cons:apparently can't use it when you're pregnant, so instead of staying w/taz forever, i'm switching to a retin-a
Bottom Line:sometimes i'd just rub a pea-size over my whole face, then other nights i'd actually dot on taz to every pimple (ha so there were white dots all over my face) but hey....it works! i hope my new retin-a works as well :(

Bottom Line:Well I only used this product now for two days, but itch very much, and burns. But my dermatologist say that its the best of the dermatologist medicine for acne, so im using it.

Cons:Extreme redness, peeling, irritation, severe acne breakout
Bottom Line:After reading about other people's success with Tazorac, I've decided I may have had a bad reaction. My face turned bright red- I mean RED and stayed that way- very embarrassing. Big cystic acne developed. My face peeled constantly- so much so that I looked worse with makeup. My face was dry and flaky but seemed to produce more oil. I tried it for several months before switching to Differin. Differin worked perfect for me.

Pros:Started to clear up my acne at first
Cons:Made my skin dry, itchy, and red. I had a reaction to it, and it brought on breakouts. Not worth your beautiful skin.
Bottom Line:It's terrible for anyone with sensitive, sallow skin. It did not help my acne. As soon as I stopped using it, my skin got much much better. Less redness and less pimples.
