| Pros: | I have been using it for about 4 weeks and my skin texture is much better and small lines have disappeared as well as dimisnished black heads. Brown spots seem to get a little darker at first as layers peel off but that too is now improving. |
| Cons: | Some minor redness and itching |
| Bottom Line: | I have very sensitive skin but if you follow the regime and always put on moisturizer at least one hour before the Tazorac it really does work. I have tried to go on it at least 4 times before and always quit after the first week or two because of the redness etc. but the moisturizing tip really does work. And, the moisturizing does not cause breakouts. |

| Pros: | Initially reduced the size and amount of breakouts, now it has cleared breakouts almost completely
No dryness/irritation if used with moisturizer |
| Cons: | Takes a long time to see results |
| Bottom Line: | I started using Tazorac about 7 to 8 weeks ago, and am finally seeing results. I've read that a lot of people have problems with irritation, but I don't have any problems whatsover when using this product with cetaphil cleanser and cetaphil moisturizer. Also, applying the correct amount is key. I recommend visiting the official Tazorac websites for instructions on how to use it. |

| Pros: | cleared 90% of my acne! :) |
| Cons: | dryness and extreme peeling. caused my skin to itch and be quite red. also, takes a long time to see improvement |
| Bottom Line: | tazorac is an amazing cream to combat acne! i've used it for nearly two years now and will not stop using it. before tazorac, my skin was horrible. i had severe cystic acne, the red bumps that seem to hung around under your skin and hurt like crazy. i went to the derm, and they talked about putting me on accutane. i was seriously considering it, but thought i should try tazorac first and leave accutane as a last resort. well, for the first month, i didn't see any improvements, my skin stayed the same. then into the second month, my skin started to peel, itch, and burn. it looked and felt horrible and was about to come off it. luckily i didn't and in the third month, my skin started to clear up. i've been on it 2 years now, and yes i do still get a few pimples here and there, but nothing like before.
my advice if you have started using this product is to stick with it. peeling and redness suck, but not as much as having acne. your skin will get used to the treatment

| Pros: | Reduced the scars a little. My skin feels softer. Definately not drying up my skin or making it irratating. |
| Cons: | Still breaking out after 4 weeks! My skin is still super oily and I have yet to see those dramatic results. |
| Bottom Line: | Not sure if this is helping...yet. Been on it for a month and I am still breaking out, yet I do notice my scars are fading a little. I am going to be patient and wait another month. The new pimples on my skin due go away within a couple days instead of a week. |

| Pros: | Improved skin texture. |
| Cons: | Makes skin peel like mad... Not good for sensitive skin. |
| Bottom Line: | I have very mild acne. My doctor gave me a small sample tube of Tazorac in 0.05%. I suppose it will improve acne with continuous use, but, I stopped after a week of using it because it made my face peel like crazy. I couldn't even put on foundation because my skin would be flaky the minute after I moisturize. |

| Pros: | Got rid of most whiteheads and blackheads. Reduced the severity of breakouts. |
| Cons: | Initial redness and peeling. Makes the skin very sensitive. Doesn't completely eliminate breakouts. Some whiteheads and blackheads return. |
| Bottom Line: | I started using this product about 9 months ago, when Clindamycin stopped working for me. I have had moderate acne since I was 13. At first, Tazorac was working wopnderfully, but after about a month, I had a huge breakout and my skin was peeling off in clumps. My face was all red. As my skin got used to it, the breakouts stopped and my face improved. However, for this last month I feel like the medication is loosing its effectivness as I'm starting to get mild breakouts, mostly whiteheads and blackheads, more frequently. I use 0.10% Tazorac every night and a moisturizer during the day. I was also on Minocin pills, but they did nothing for me. |

| Pros: | I have always had moderate acne. (small bumps all over my face) I tried everything! I was even on Accutane twice and my skin stayed the same...it was never perfect. Tazorac is a miracle...my skin has never felt so smooth and looked this good. |
| Cons: | It does get worse before it gets better...it got worse for me for about a month before it got smoother. My skin was a weird oily but dry texture for awhile but you have to stick with it cuz it will work. |
| Bottom Line: | Its worth every penny. |

| Pros: | Got results after about three weeks. Actually feels and looks like its doing something. |
| Cons: | Cream kinda has a greasy feeling. Makes your face sore, red, and peel like crazy. I'm talkin chunks falling off your face! Can't tan or go out in the sun a whole lot. |
| Bottom Line: | Sucks balls for the first week or so but starts to yield good results after that. I cut back to every other night and so far am blemish free. You may be going to the restroom a couple times a day at first just to moisturize your face. Turns over the skin cells really fast so after awhile scars and marks will fade. Crap is hella expensive so either get your insurance to pick it up or steal it. Your Doc may be hesitate to prescribe but be persistent. |

| Pros: | It cleared up most of my acne. |
| Cons: | It takes a bit of time for this stuff to actually start working. In the process of waiting those weeks, your face may become very ithcy and red. Lots of peeling (in my case). This stuff is also a bit expensive. |
| Bottom Line: | I've been using this product for over a year now. I started using only the 0.05% strength. It cleared most of my acne up (but didn't get rid of little bumps). In September 2007, I asked my doc if I could try the full strength. Since then, my skin has only been average. When using the 0.05%, I was able to exfoliate at least twice a week (because I have oily skin). But now, I'm not able to exfoliate at all because it would lead to drying of the skin and then LOTS of peeling. I'm talking about snowflake-sized skin bits all over my shoulders and collar. There has been many occasions where I had to resort to using Vaseline as my day-time moisturizer in order to cover the flakiness. So, I've only been using it a few times a week now (because of the effects) instead of every night--hence the reason a bit of my acne came back. I would probably switch back to 0.05% just because it worked well for me. I still haven't been able to use the full strength version daily and I started this in Sept |
