| Pros | Stopped little pimples from becoming bigger pimples. Reduced swelling from pimples that I shouldn't have picked, but did pick. Face is clearer. |
|---|---|
| Cons | You have to give your self time to apply. First wash your face, let it dry. Then my doctor told me to apply a mosturizer BEFORE applying the tazorac, so I did, then had to let that dry (15-20 minutes) then lightly apply tazorac. |
| Bottom line | I use tazorac at night and acuzone in the morning. I read a number of postings about people having a lot of discomfort and peeling. I took heed, and was sure to use a mosturizer first. I also just used the amount recommended, and resisted the urge to slather it on. It is strong, and even though we all may feel that our faces can take anything (since we suffer from acne)....you gotta pay attention to the directions! Also I was told to use it only 3 nights per week and work up to every night, which is what I do now. I never had the discomfort that I read others did. I think I itched one night in the beginning, and I made sure I skipped the next night and was fine. While I did have peeling, it felt as though the pimples were peeling away, so that's not a bad thing, and the peeling was only happening where the pimples were. If I had a particularly "bad" pimple (or one that I popped), I didn't put mosturizer on it...I put a smidgen of tazorac directly on it.It was visably smaller the next morning. |

| Pros | Clears white heads and smaller pimples first. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Makes you skin sensitive and flaky. & it could be a lot of money if your insurance doesn't cover it. |
| Bottom line | Its a good product and it cleared my whole forehead but I'm still waiting on the cheek area. But I'm keeping my head up high. (: |

| Pros | Works…period |
|---|---|
| Cons | Terrible IB, itches like hell and the face looks greasy |
| Bottom line | I have been on this medication for about 13 weeks and my skin has cleared about 90% however, I have some deep red scars thanks to tazorac. My der gave me 5 samples and I still have 2 so I only used 3 in 13 weeks. I have a big tube also that I paid nothing for. If you have mild acne please do not use this product or you will be crying afteward as you will be left out with deep acne scars not mentioning the terrible initial breakout and the paintful acne you will get before it clears. It will clear though. I do recommend it to anybody that has moderate acne like mine. It also doesn't get rid of white heads, I still have many in my nose. I am now on finacea to clear my marks, hopefully it clears my pores. |

| Pros | Clear, smooth skin! |
|---|---|
| Cons | It will make your skin oily... and it will peel at first! |
| Bottom line | It works people!! I wrote about a year ago and had moderately severe acne, I had some cysts and pimples everywhere! But after about 3 good months of using it I had my skin back! I was FINALLY getting asked out by cute guys and getting out more! A year later I still have good skin, and I actually only spot treat about once a week now on problem areas, I don't use it everyday anymore! I am actually doing a Skin Culture 4000 Peel to get rid of my red marks that are still left and will write a review on that in a couple days! |

| Pros | Speeds up skin turnover. Was not too drying for me |
|---|---|
| Cons | Where do I start... |
| Bottom line | My derm gave me this to try for the 12 week period before prescribing it to me (samples). My ski progressively got worse, but I kept in mind that that was expected. I knew that at some point my skin would stop breaking out, and would be clear. Im done with the 12 weeks and that did not happen. My skin is the worst it has ever been in my life. My derm told me that this obviously isn't working and that we need to talk about accutane. I will hopefully be on that next week.... Taz works for some, and not for others. But if your skin is still bad after 6 - 8 weeks, it probably will just get worse... |

| Pros | only thing in the book(and trust me i've tried EVERYTHING) that cleared up my skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | can be irritating. peeling, redness, burning |
| Bottom line | my dermatologist warned me that at first my acne will get worse before it can get better. she said since i have sensitive skin, to apply the medicine for ten minutes than rinse it off for the first few days and gradually leave it on longer until i could do it over night. because of this technique, i got clear skin minus so much of the irritation she said this cream works for before with smaller bumps like white heads and stuff ^.^ |

| Pros | Hoping it will work |
|---|---|
| Cons | it made my skin red, itchy and peel. |
| Bottom line | I have been using the product for almost 2 months now and I still breaks out. the initial break out was horrible-I did not want to go out or see my boyfriend but now the redness is getting better. MAKE SURE YOU ARE LEAVING THE MOISTURIZER ACTING FOR 2O MIN BEFORE YOU APPLY TAZORAC. I was not doing this at the beginning and my face was extremely dry. I do not know why i keep breaking out around the same areas over and over. I have seen very mild results. I am also using another acne cream doing the day to prevent acne + getting facials+ birth control pills but i still do not see results...I keep you inform of my improvement. I really hope this works |

| Pros | i turnovers skin production really fast, so even if you do get acne it goes a away fast. |
|---|---|
| Bottom line | i have been using this product for almost a year. this site helped me with the support i needed for the first couple of months of dreadful side effects. all of the horrible side effects have pasted and the product is still very effective. although, i still breakout right before my period or when i am experiencing a high amount of stress. i started taking a multi vitamin with vit a in it. i believe it has helped with my skill tone. part of this product working successfully is eating healthy, not wearing 8lbs of makeup & taking overall good care of your body. if you do those things you will see results. i balance bwtn the .05 & .1 --- your acne will get better, i promise! just keep your head up and you are sure to see results. |

| Pros | Works, cleared up skin completely. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Takes at LEAST 2+ months to clear up, initial breakout can be terrible, skin sensitivity goes through the roof. Makes face very red as well. |
| Bottom line | Do not use if you have mild acne, try something that isn't quite so serious or intense. It does work though... |

| Pros | Works very well especially people of color. |
|---|---|
| Cons | First few weeks of use will be followed by break outs. Peeling and redness. Gets rid of spots, reduce pores and wrinkles. |
| Bottom line | THIS PRODUCT WORKS!!!! Bottom line. You have to be patient and use it sparingly once your skin starts to get irritated. You must use moisturizer before you put it on. I love this product and turned my sister and my friends on to it too. They love it. I have tried other prescribed acne medications but I this is the one I can not live without. |
