| Pros | IT WORKS! Cheap Easy |
|---|---|
| Cons | Very messy! (Gets everywhere!) It stings Unsightly A liitle drying with the BP (but just add moisturiser in the morning after washing) |
| Bottom line | I am a 22 year old girl and I developed acne around 10 months ago. My Acne and pigmentation on my cheeks has 70% gone in just 3 days! Here is what I have been doing: *Washing my face, gently for 10 seconds on affected area with a standard facewash (mine is Nivea daily wash) *Let dry *Apply Benzoyl peroxide (I've worked my way up to 10% over the last 6 months) *Leave 15 minutes *Apply Sudocrem all over affected area (not too thickly) *Sleep *Wash face in the morning, the same as first point. In 3 days this has dramatically helped my acne and I am so happy. I have tried everything from cheap spot creams to laser treatment at £200 a pop (which didn't even work) and so far, this is the best...AND THE CHEAPEST! I would say that it does sting for about 5 minutes when I apply it, others say it doesn't. I just work through it and it is worth it in the morning- I guess it is the anitseptic in the cream that makes it sting? I hope it works for you, acne is horrible and takes your confidence! It's friday night and for once- I'm feeling good about going out :) |

| Pros | Completely takes away redness Makes spots a million times less noticeable Makes skin feel and look smoother and less irritable VERY cheap |
|---|---|
| Cons | Depending on your skin type, it may leave skin a bit oily Can't wear it during the day (unless you want to walk around with bright white all over your face haha!) |
| Bottom line | Basically, I am a fifteen year old girl who has suffered with awful skin since I was thirteen. My skin first started to become bad when I was eleven/twelve, it became very oily and looked greasy and this was way before I started wearing any make up. It has got progressively worse! My skin is the main thing that I really dislike about myself. I can't remember the last time I had perfectly healthy skin with no spots, I always seem to have spots and I hate it. I first tried Sudocrem when I was thirteen, when I first started to get big red spots, mainly on my forehead. It completely took away the redness which I was very grateful for, however I stopped using Sudocrem after I was told by my auntie, who is a nurse, that it makes your skin more oily which is what I didn't want at all considering I already have oily skin. So I stopped using it and tried an unbelievable amount of different products and to be honest absolutely none of them have worked. My skin got a lot worse and now I have a lot of scars and red marks from previous spots. Because I'm now fifteen, I've been put on the contraceptive pill called Marvelon which I was told is supposed to be very good for acne. I've only been on it for two months and I've not noticed much difference yet (they said it would take up to three before I'd see a change) so I decided to go back to Sudocrem! For the past three weeks I've been back to using Sudocrem, putting it on each night after removing my make up and I couldn't be happier. My friends told me just today how much better my skin is looking and I can only thank Sudocrem! I have literally tried EVERYTHING for my spots and nothing seems to work as well. So far it doesn't seem to be making my skin any oilier and is making my spots almost disappear (which trust me has never happened before!!!). Unless the pill (Marvelon) has something to do with it, the only other thing I can thank is Sudocrem! I would definitely advise people with bad acne to try it! |

| Pros | Cheap Little pot goes a long way Clears up redness quickly Reduces swelling & sore skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | Not a cure Using it too much will trap moisture |
| Bottom line | I'm 35 and have suffered with acne since I was 19. I've tried pretty much everything there is to try and this stuff has been great for getting my acne to a manageable stage where I can treat individual spots as opposed to the acne mass that I have had to deal with along my jaw line since I came off Dianette 5 years ago. Acne is a misery and my heart goes out to all of you. Baking soda, Manuka Honey & Aspirin are all good too. No cures yet though! |

| Pros | Reduced redness of spots significantly Did not sting Was fast |
|---|---|
| Cons | Better for individual spots rather than acne as a whole, doesn't help blackheads, messy and cannot be worn during the day. |
| Bottom line | It's good, but only for reducing the redness of one new spot. It did not get rid the spot or anything else - but made it less noticeable. |

| Pros | Cheap- very! Reduces redness Reduces swelling of spots Won't hurt or dry out your skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | Messy Cannot be worn during the day |
| Bottom line | I love using this product, but only overnight- due to it's thick texture and bright white colour you probably wouldn't want to go out in the day with it on! I think this mainly makes the redness of your spots go down, though I find, depending on the spot type, it does more often than not reduce the swelling. Like most things, it won't make the spots disappear overnight, but it definitely improves them by the morning. Quick tip- you may want to sleep on a towel or something that will protect your pillow! I've found it is more effective for reducing size and redness of spots than any specific spot product I've tried so far. This is cheap and hassle-free enough that even if it's not quite right for you, it's worth a try! |

| Pros | reduces redness from first use! cheap, smells nice. I applied for the first time at night, and by the morning there was a noticeable change in my skin! Best none prescription treatment I've ever used :) |
|---|---|
| Cons | not a long term cure for severe acne, complements oral medication! But alone I dont think sudocrem would work wonders on severe acne |
| Bottom line | Buy! Definitely better than any other spot product on the market |

| Pros | Helps to reduce redness of spots, dries them out quicker and is a good cheap alternative to most spot creams. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Doesn't cure spots and has no effect on black heads. |
| Bottom line | It's probably best to wear it during the night although if you rub it in enough you can wear it during the day (done it plenty of times) My skin is quite greasy but has actually made it less greasy and softer. Reduced size and redness of spots in less than a week. I'm from the U.K so I didn't buy it in dollars...so I'll just put $2... |
