“Dan- Just wanted to thank you profusely and share with you my story. I'm 25 have been on Benzaclin since 16; when my prescription coverage lapsed earlier this year I was no longer able afford the medication ($270 for a 50mg batch...absurd.) I would experience the occasional zit while on Benzaclin, but for the most part it kept my skin clear, smooth and acne free. Naturallly I started to relapse after a few months without it. By the 3rd month it was no longer bearable. I washed dilligently, my sister had some leftover Differin and I tried to used that for over a month, to no avail. I started looking for answers and came across your site. Truly a godsend. It's like you've 'open sourced' this problem. I began your regimen using over the counter products...This helped reduce the size and frequency of my acne. When your products came in the mail.....dramatic results. Its only been a day (yes, one day) so things haven't yet completely cleared, but my face feels soothed, calm, and pain free, and I can see the healing taking place. A source of immense anguish is gone. . . Look forward to being able to report back in a month or so with a totally cleared face.

“Dan, you ARE my hero. Ok, my success story is VERY different to some on here. The thing different was that I used 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, and it did the trick. My mom bought me 10% and not 2.5% (partly my fault for not telling her) so I just used it. And, wouldn't you know it, it worked!!! I started getting acne when I was about 13-14. I didn't think much of it, just a small pimple that went away in 1-2 days. But once I turned 15, I was hit hard (for my acne type). I have very light acne, and I was NEVER ashamed of it, because I know there aer people out there who would give anything for my skin, and I feel very fortunate. I found this site, and it and it was like a weight had been lifted. I got my supplies, and I was clear within 2 weeks.

The 10% Benzoyl Peroxide has a little different timeline, so I will post it here.

Week 1: Some improvement at the start of the week, but a break out shows up at the end of the week. Break out clears very quickly.

“Dear Dan,

I have only been using your regimen for three or four days now, but I am already seeing results. The acne that I had when I first began using it has healed up to scabs now, and this morning was the first morning that I woke up in a longggg time where I actually DIDN'T have a new pimple to pop. I did, however, develop a very minor one at the end of work today, but one small pimple in one day is a lot better than about four or five! (some of them quite large) I also had a zit on my forehead that I could see starting to surface...the kind where it's real slow to surface, but you can tell by looking at it that it's gonna be a doozie. I was freaking out that I was going to have a gigantic "boob" in the middle of my forehead, but after a few days of BP, it looks like it's shrinking down now. I was able to start out at the full dosage of BP, because my skin has been toughed up already thanks to retin-a. But for some reason, retin-a has stopped working for me. It was like a miracle drug when I first went on it. I didn't have a single pimple. It worked for me for a few years, and now it simply doesn't anymore. I would break out almost as though I wasn't treating my acne at all, and I never had a totally zit free day ever again. Thankfully, my acne isn't as bad now as it was a few years ago, when it was mostly cystic. Now I just have moderate acne, so I figured I'd give your regimen a try, and I can see it's going to work well for me. I can't wait until a few months from now when I'm 100% clear!
