I had subcision with restalyne once four weeks ago and then a touch up session two days ago. The first session lasts longer and causes more bruises. Also, it takes about a month for redness to fade and see the true results of the procedure. Two days ago the doctor finished any missed scar areas and plumped up some that needed more injection. Fantastic job on indented cheek scars. Excision works best for pitted scars. Doctor says that no laser treatment is needed for follow up. Cost $400 for total treatment in the Tennesse area.

I had scarring from acne on my left cheek and went through the subcision procedure with one of the world's leading Dr's.
I went through subcision two days ago, have heavy brusing on my cheek and hard red scars. which I assume will fade within a week or so. Noticiable improvement 50%-70%, hard to actually notice with all the brusing. Still have two more treatments, combined with laser treament left. i'd opt for this treatment, after all how much do you value your looks, especially when we live in a world where looks count!

I had icepick scars. I just went through subcision yesterday and I already see about a 75% improvement. My doctor says that subcision works better with icepick scars when it’s alternated with laser treatments. I will be going for a laser treatment in about three weeks. I will probably have another 2-3 sessions of alternating subcision and laser procedures.
One day after the procedure I have one tiny bruise, some red spots from the needles and knife cuts. Word of advice; keep ice on your face for a full day after the procedure.
If you’re in Chicago see Dr. Lack in DesPlaines. Excellent. Very reputable doctor. I’m extremely excited.

I had subcision done 4 weeks ago. I had very deep acne scars from cystic acne i teenage years. On the right cheek 40 % improvement. In the left cheek 50 % improvement.
I got some hardness under the surface of my skin some places - this dosen´t feel or look so good. I wish that I knew that the hard skin areas could get hard - no one can explain why to me, they just told me to massage it 3 times a day. Does anyone know how to treat it, please write sofie99884@ofir.dk
I probably need 2 or 3 more treatments.

This procedure worked AWESOME for me. I wasn't expecting much but of all the procedures I've done so far (micro-derm, excision, thermage) this one by far had the best outcome. I'd say at least a 50% improvement.

worked with restylane i watched my dr on his magnified tv while he did it and did it myself a few times with a needle and it looks much better even though there no restylne in the scars anymore the needle lifted it up alot. my dr. is experimenting with Scultra on himself and his staff its been used for years on aids patients to fill in there huge shallow areas and he thinks it will work good for scars

i had mild rolling scars on the cheeks from adolescent, cystic acne. tried subcission along with fascia lata slipped under scar areas to plump up the scars. also had two smoothbeam treatments. the left side of my face really came out nicely. minimal swelling and bruising. pleased with the results. however, the right side of my face bled a great deal, swelled twice the size of my left cheek, and i have some hardness under the surface of my skin. have a somewhat quilted texture to the cheek. disappointed with the results on the right side. it's slightly better than before but nothing like my left side!

Did not see any improvement. One scar become bigger than the original scar(after the swelling went down), its a waste of money..
