| Bottom line | I had moderately severe acne a year ago. Went on minocycline, worked for a month. Acne started coming back. I started using this in combination with the st ives green tea. This every 3 days and the green tea every day. My acne is pretty much controlled now. only a pimple or 2 every few days and my past blemishes are disappearing very quickly(it was horrible a year ago). It doesnt work well at first. After 2 weeks or so your skin gets use to it and the salicylic acid works wonders in preventing the acne from emerging. In adition this is an exfoliator which is good to get rid of impurities. I also take biozinc pills+omega 3 every day and i pretty much ahve mild acne now. However im not sure if my acne decreased so much because of this or because the fact that im 18 now and my hormones are starting to balance. Give it a go i'd recommend |

| Bottom line | I bought this scrub a few months back hoping it would help my skin by seeing the reviews over here.But no,it didn't help with acne,not even for a short time. Now I use it inconsistently.Not more than once a week,btw,it isn't good to use it more than twice a week as it is a scrub. I like this one because it makes my skin really soft and clean,perfect wash before applying makeup. =) Its just a good scrub,but not for acne. |

| Bottom line | Reduces appearance of acne, gets rid of the oil and exfoliates my skin. It didn't dry it out. The price is amazing and I recommend it. |

| Bottom line | This is a terrible product and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.I purchased this product thinking it would get rid of my light acne but it instead turned it into moderate acne. It irritated my skin so much that it is now red , dry and acne ridden. I will never be repurchasing this item EVER and this all happened after two uses. |

| Bottom line | Well I use to use it ever day at some point because my face felt amazing after. At that point, my face only broke out on my forehead. Them I reduced the usage to once or twice a week. After a while I stopped using it because I felt asd though I was using too many products on my face (africas best black soap; cetaphil; occassionally, maybe once ever three weeks used a neutrogena mask overnight) So here's where it gets crazy!! One day I decided "ooh let me use the apricot scrub again" that was probably the worst decision I've ever made. In about 2 days after irritation from it, my face broke out!! First it was about a few pimples on my forehead, to my whole face covered with them. Then, my cheeks, which were acne free broke out. And I've been breaking out like that since :( I don't use this product anymore, and never will. I'm still breaking out all over my face. =( |

| Cons | -Gave me cystic acne -Since the beads/sand aren't perfectly round, they cause microscopic cuts on your skin, allowing bacteria in. -Can be super harsh on skin. |

| Bottom line | I tried this product after a one month trial of proactive. The poactive did nothing for me, so a friend told me about the st. Ives scrub. My expectations weren't very high based on the low cost, but I decided it was worth a shot. I have been so amazed with the results! Right away I started getting compliments. I highly recommend this product, and at 3 bucks...it's a no brainer. |

| Pros | It made my skin feel so soft and I had horrible acne before using this product and now my acne is almost gone. I tried proactive and I talked to my dermatologist and he gave me pills that made me sick. This is the best product I have ever used. My sister and my friends use this and they have NO acne and reccomed this product as well. You can get these at walmart or drug stores.they even have dollar sized travel packs that work wonders for traveling.I am in love with this product. It rocks!!! |

My friend let me Use her st ives an I was in love with it and it even helped cure some of my acne that night I was so excIted so I got her to get me a bottle and my brother knocked the bottle in the toilet by accident so I was like uh throw it away I will get a new one later and I was totally out of money till Xmas and then Xmas came and I got paid I was looking at their new at the time green tea one and how it was better and so we got a travel size green tea one to try and I got one to keep the ummm apricot one and it was full sized and i love both of them and would not trade it for anything I love it serious GO BUY IT NOW JUST DO IT IT IS AN AMAZING PRODUCT!!! |
