Sodium Sulfacetamide Reviews

Sodium Sulfacetamide is only available in the form of a drug called Sulfacet-R in Canada. Here is a list of aaaaaaallllll the products I used before I found this. Clinique 3 step process, Vichy Normaderm, Benzoyl Peroxide,Biotherm skin cleansing line, Proactiv, Minocyclene and then finally Sulfacet-R. Surprisingly, to all of you complaining American's, I am Canadian and the government pays for a good 60% of the cost of my meds. Ha! So cost is not a factor because it costs about 10$ for a month. The drug works immediately (2 Days) and agrees very well with my skin in the sense that I had no reaction of dryness or epidermal irritation. The bad part of the drug was the fact that it was a paste that would sit on my skin and if I didn't blend the color perfectly while first mixing the paste, I would be screwed for the long run because I would be wearing loads of coverup over the drug. TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS YOU NEED TO PERFECT THE COLOR MIXING WITH THE PASTE. IT'S WORTH IT! As for my face. I used to get frequent pimples on my forehead and I had acne on my left cheek and all over my jaw area. My skin is still not perfect, but holy dinah, it is so much better. I look like a porn star!!!! TRY THIS STUFF because I have tried the expensive way and it's not the way to go. I write this review to pay my debt to Sodium Sulfacetamide and shun all the expensive crap that is being marketed on T.V. PROACTIV LICKS BA/-/-s

Try it - sooo much better than BP (that stuff is just too harsh). klaron is the only thing that worked for me and i've been using for almost 2 years - hardly a bump since i started with it. I tried the BP and many other products and never had luck. i didn't want to believe the derm, but i'm a believer now. i'm 36 so i may not have the rush of hormones others have, but for adult acne, it's WORTH A TRY!!!!

My dermatologist told me to use this crap and to give it 4-6 weeks for it to work. I have been using it for 2-1/2 months, and it does nothing. I have a new pimple every other day, and now have lots of blackheads. Not to mention, it's $50 for a tiny bottle.

did not work, i don't know how these people had so much success, but I had none. Switched to duoc gel...it worked wonders.

i would like to say somethind nice for my vote to be counted but i can't because it does not work.

I have been using the product for about a week now and I am already seening differences, first off I can tell that the inflamation from the pimples that do show up are way less severe. Also the amount of new pimples are dwindling by the day and my skin is looking healthy and smooth. I would give this a five but I have yet to see it's full effects. One down side is that the cost even with decent insurance the copay is 25 dollars but hopefully that is only every two months. I would definity recommend the product cause the least you could do is try it.

I have been using this for about 3 weeks. My dermatologist recommended it and all the reviews said it was great. I haven't noticed anything. My chin is breaking out even more than before and they don't go away. Hopefully it will work better for others.

I remember using this for a long time. It worked well, but you have to get over that smell of sulfer.

I've tried everything... and this didn't work either. I was also prescribed Minocin (an oral antiobiotic), and the combination is not clearing up my skin. I am continuing to break out on my chin and along my jaw line. Hope you have better luck.. :)
