Klaron works. I have very mild/moderate acne with the occasional breakout here and there. However, I do have some annoying scars/red marks from Tazorac and part meds. I think Klaron is very soothing, but at the same time, I really never noticed any great result while on it. Klaron never reduced the scars/red marks, but it did prevent future breakouts, since I would rarely get new acne. When I put it on in the mornings it would leave my skin reddish and tight. However, putting it on at night, I would wake up in the morning with very nice looking skin. Now, I take 10g B5, Vitamin A, C, E, Zinc, Biotion, B-Complex, Multi Vitamin, and 200mg Minocin. I've been doing this for a month now and although it sounds like a lot of vitamins, once you start clearing up (which I am), you can start reducing the doses until you find an effective maintainence dose. Klaron is nice, though, and I would recommend it to people with sensitive skin.

I tried EVERYTHING to no avail. Finally, my Dermatologist suggested Novacet lotion. My insurance would only pay for the "generic equivalent", but it still has the same active ingredients.... Sodium Sulfacetamide 10% and Sulfur 5% and is in "lotion" form. I just wash my face gently with Ivory soap and then put a thin layer of this stuff on my face before bed, and wow. It has cleared my face PERFECTLY. Best stuff ever. Try it, you'll thank me.

I found out about this medicine on this site and decided to try it. It works very well! There are no side effects that I've noticed, and it has definitely helped clear up my skin. I use it twice a day after washing my face. I added it to my regimen of using a low dose of Retin-A once per day, and it has made a big difference. I would recommend it highly. I saw results quickly. I normally wouldn't post anything on a board like this, but I wanted to help other people who need advice like I did. My doctor didn't know anything about acne medication and wanted to prescribe Accutane for my very moderate case of acne until I requested this medicine.

I used it for months and it definitely helped at least slightly...no miracle drug though. It stopped working after a few months, though, but it was definitely pleasant to use so I used it a little while after it stopped working anyway.

This is the best topical antibiotic I've tried. It smells nice, it feels comfortable when you put it on, and I notice it helps decrease inflammation a lot in the lesions. I would recommend this opposed to topical clindamycin/ b.p. solutions. You really should try it. It has pretty good ratings I think for this board.

all i can say is this. it seems to work. that's what it looks like. you put it on at night before you sleep. the solution is liquidy white. so when added to the face and dries overnight, in the morning it looks clear. but when you wash your face and take off the klaron, your face get red and the pimples are even redder, making absolutely no progress. false resutls, i got excited for nothing. just make sure when you get it, you think it works, but its only cuz it's white and makes your face look clear.

I have been using Differin gel once a night along with Klaron in the morning and Minocycline pills twice daily. I've been taking them all together for 8 weeks now and no change at all. They said to give it 8-10 weeks, and I'm nearly there.

I saw good rating for Klaron here, so I decided to try it. I had acne since i was 12 (23 now), used it all!!!!This stuff cleared my scin in 2 weeks. Don`t waste your money on Murad or Proactive(all is crap!!!) just see Dermatologist, its worth it even without prescription, and it will last you for a long time!!!!!Thank you. If only I had it 10 years ago:(But at least now I`m clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Klaron. You're awesome. This stuff is silky smooth, odorless, and dries before your hands are even off your face. My face is crystal clear - I actually look forward to putting it on in the morning. Amazing.
