This is the best topical antibiotic I've tried. It smells nice, it feels comfortable when you put it on, and I notice it helps decrease inflammation a lot in the lesions. I would recommend this opposed to topical clindamycin/ b.p. solutions. You really should try it. It has pretty good ratings I think for this board.

all i can say is this. it seems to work. that's what it looks like. you put it on at night before you sleep. the solution is liquidy white. so when added to the face and dries overnight, in the morning it looks clear. but when you wash your face and take off the klaron, your face get red and the pimples are even redder, making absolutely no progress. false resutls, i got excited for nothing. just make sure when you get it, you think it works, but its only cuz it's white and makes your face look clear.

I have been using Differin gel once a night along with Klaron in the morning and Minocycline pills twice daily. I've been taking them all together for 8 weeks now and no change at all. They said to give it 8-10 weeks, and I'm nearly there.

I saw good rating for Klaron here, so I decided to try it. I had acne since i was 12 (23 now), used it all!!!!This stuff cleared my scin in 2 weeks. Don`t waste your money on Murad or Proactive(all is crap!!!) just see Dermatologist, its worth it even without prescription, and it will last you for a long time!!!!!Thank you. If only I had it 10 years ago:(But at least now I`m clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Affordability I put 5 as my plan covers most of the cost, but without it it will ran 130-140$ - worth every cent(My parents spent little fortune on my face). All u need is Klaron.

Oh Klaron. You're awesome. This stuff is silky smooth, odorless, and dries before your hands are even off your face. My face is crystal clear - I actually look forward to putting it on in the morning. Amazing.

Around presidents day (mid-Feb), I used a face mask that produced horrible break outs. Honestly I went from have black heads on my nose ( the reason I used the mask in the first place) to having a mix of small bumps and pimples all over my face. Needless to say I was mortified! The first six weeks, I used Differin gel which really only seemed to make my mild to moderate acne worse. After getting fed up with the lack of results, I went to the dermatologist last week who prescribed Klaron lotion and 75mg of Adoxa ( oral antibiotic once a day). It has only been 6 days and I have seen major results. The first two days it seemed to make my pimples more red but after that, they slowly seemed to shrink. Many of the pimples on my face are nothing more than red marks now which are fading nicely. I still have some stubborn bumps but I suspect by next week, my face will be virtually clear and back to normal. I have oily in the t-zone sensitive skin and this product has not made my skin unpleasant at all. The first few days I saw some flaky skin but after that, it was like my skin became used to it. It does not itch and goes on clear. I would highly recommend this product along with Adoxa to clear up skin!

I have been using Klaron for one month, and I must say, this product is wonderful. I tried Benzyl Peroxide, but my face dried and reddened and itched beyond what I could cope with.

My face had been a vast wasteland of cysts and pimples and red marks for a year. At age 30, my acne was the worst it has ever been in my life. After a year of trying every natural remedy under the sun, I finally gave in and went to a dermatologist. Luckily, after all my research on this site, I found out about Klaron the day before I went in to my appointment.

Klaron is completely non-drying and east to apply. There is no noticeable smell, and the results are fantastic. Since I have been on Klaron, I have had NO cysts. I waited to write this review until my face passed the "period" test, because normally around that-time-of-the-month my face explodes with cysts. Not this time! I am amazed and delighted.

I still get a few small pimples here and there, but nothing like what I had before, and these pimples are much much smaller and last about half as long and do not scar like they used to.

I regret that I didn't find out about Klaron sooner, since I have so much scarring from a year's worth of intense breakouts, but I am thrilled that I found this great prescription. I didn't want to do oral antibiotics, and I didn't want to suffer with dry, irritated skin. This is the best thing to happen to my skin in the past year, and now I can walk outside and not feel like a freak of nature. For the first time in a year, I can face people. The emotional devestation is taking some time to heal, but the physical devesation is well on its way to being repaired!

I highly reccommend this topical solution. Unfortunately, I have no insurace, so I must pay $137 for a 4 oz. bottle. It's steep, but worth it for the way I now feel about my face. Don't be afraid to give this a try--it's so agreeable, and I saw results within two weeks!

Blessings.

I've had acne now for about 10 years. There has always been at least one cyst and multiple pimples on my face. I've gone through minocylin and benzaclin. I even tried the B5 treatment for 6 months (that just gave me pimples on my temples). Now I have a combination of Klaron and differin and my skin has never been better. Completely clear and not dry. I don't even need a moisterizer. Excellent!

I am using Klaron with amoxycillin antibiotic. I have tried many other medications and antibiotics and this is the best thing that has happened to me in years. My acne is clearing up fast. I have only been using this for 2 weeks. I am very pleased. I thought I would always have to suffer with cysts and nasty zits all my life, but I can't believe it this stuff really works! My doc put me on a lower dose of amoxycillin and I haven't had any problems like I did with other antibiotics (yeast-yikes). Klaron doesn't irritate my skin and it's like a lotion so I don't need to moisturize. Hope this helps someone.
