Pros:I love this laser!!! I udnerstand it does not work for some people, but I am about a week and a half out from my first treatment and my acne has dramatically diminshed just during that time period.....as my sebaceous glands were apparantley very wel
Cons:Very Expensive(I am paying $850 w/numbing agents for 4 rounds), buut really not that painful at all, more annoying, with the numbing cream.
Bottom Line:This is a fantastic system that worked really well for me in the first treatment alone. I am so exicted about the next ttreatment. i experienced 0 discoloration, pain or discomfort, just some reddening for about 2 hours afer the procedure. it was easy, fast, and effective!!!

Pros:If it works the pros are obvious
Cons:It hurts a bit and is quite expensive.
Bottom Line:I just had my 1st treatment today. Comb. of Vbeam and smooth beam. It did hurt about a 5 on the pain scale. My dermatologist used an ice pack and that was all. It really wasn't that bad and if this works it will be well worth it. I was a little red afterward but that is gone now 4hrs later. I am very hopeful. Will keep you posted!

Pros:Seem to work for some
Cons:Total let down for me
Bottom Line:I had my treatment at Celibre. It simply did not work for me. It would have been easier to swallow if they were honest about their results. During my consultation I was told my acne would virtually disappear with the exception of a few rare pimples. I asked specifically: “Are there individuals who do not respond to laser?”. Their answer was: “There are a small percent who are slower to respond but eventually everyone will see dramatic results.” This is an outright lie. It is clear that many have benefited but beware that many do not. I just want to warn anyone who may be considering Celibre and the likes to be a little skeptical. Do not put all your faith in it. Good luck.

Pros:None.
Cons:I had four treatments two years ago. They did absolutely nothing to reduce my acne. My skin got burned in a couple of sensitive areas, so for many months afterward I would get a "bubbling up" of my skin in those areas, like little water bubbles.
Bottom Line:Totally worthless. I don't recommend this treatment at all. I highly doubt that it's actually working for anyone. There is a placebo effect even with acne treatments. This product was never tested by anyone but the manufacturer, to my knowledge. It was approved by the FDA based solely on the company's claims. Doctors of course want us to believe it works because the machine was very expensive and now they need to try to recoup their investment. But don't bother. Truly a total waste.

Pros:I have gotten two sb so far, and notice i would say SOME results...i am hopeful though and not stressing out over it. I think the less i stress the more i will see results. It has worked a little to fill in scars. NOT painful at all...!!
Cons:fairly expensive...better see results...takes time
Bottom Line:Okay bottom line...scars take time. My scars are fresh and new so that plays a hUGE role in the turn out. I think i can see some improvement now. AGE, AND HOW OLD THE SCARS are do play a role keep in mind..and just remember dont give up!!! it takes time...its like fitness for skin...results are gradual...

Pros:Quick?
Cons:Expensive, slightly painful
Bottom Line:I had my first treatment two weeks ago and have not seen any results. I instead have been breaking out even more. She concentrated on my chin since that is my "problem area" and that is where I am breaking out. And it is a pretty bad breakout too. But you "aren't suppose to see results until after your thrid treamtment" so I am keeping that in mind. I am hoping this is a treamtment where it "gets worse before it gets better." I will be sure to update after the second treamtent. I paid for three treatments and a chemical peel for $675.

As far as pain goes, I applied the numbing cream ($50) an hour before, then a half hour before. This helped because it probably would be pretty painful without that. My doctor also used an icepack. The pain was no big deal if you have a tolerance for it.

No changes where made in my skin - no extra redness, scarring, nothing. I look exactly the time, if not worse.

Pros:Smoother Skin is all i notice right now, No downtime
Cons:Expensive
Bottom Line:Just had first treatment earlier in the morning, not really expecting anything but gonna post after every treatment (which is once a month)

Even though, it was only the first..I noticed my small pitted scars (very small around cheeks) got 50% better and up, was surprised to see anything at all. I really look forward to the other 3 because from what everyone keeps saying, it only gets better

Pros:Well its only been my first treatment. I just had it done at 3pm. So its been a few hrs. My face hurts and has hyperpigmentation. Really bad too. I really hope thats goes away. I am paying $250.00 for each session and thats w/microdermabrastion
Cons:It does hurt. Brace yourself. Hold on to something. Make sure you get the numbing creme. Its $70.00 but it is so worth every penny.
Bottom Line:Its only my first time, so I'm paranoide thats its not going to work. Make sure you have an experienced doctor doing this. I will write back.

Pros:Seems to reduce oil production
Cons:LEFT ME WITH BROWN HALF MOON MARKS ALL OVER MY FACE! They are so dark that I cannot cover them up with make up.
Bottom Line:Heed the warnings you see here. I read them and thought that I wouldn't be one of the few who get hyperpigmentation from the treatment. It has been a month since my treatment and my brown marks have gotten darker, despite my use of 55 sunblock, hydroquinone, and microdermabrasions. I cry every day over this and wish that I had been patient enough to do a test spot and then wait two weeks to see how much damage it would do.
