Did not work for me I hyper pigmentated, it took a year for the marks on my already bad skin to fade. I personally would not recommend it.

I am Mr. acne. from age 13 to my grand old age of 49, I have been subjected to every known treatment: tetracycline, erythromycin, sun lamps, injections, and all the painful stuff they do with metallic doo-dads. I did 2 courses of Accutane over the years, which was a great drug for me, but alas course, not an ultimate cure.

So I tried smoothbeam. had 5 treatments, approx one week apart. paid like $500 each - maybe 400, I just remember it was a lot and I could have bought some great stuff.

It was painful! 2500 little stings in half an hour! I had numbing cream on for 1/2 hour before the zapping, and most of the zaps hurt, but some sessions were worse than others. The redness went away pretty quickly for me.

it is now just 6 weeks after the last treatment. and I still have really greasy skin, no improvement there. no cystic breakouts, which is a real plus. I can't say I have any improvement in the scarring, and there was plenty of that. I see my doctor for the first follow up visit this week. I am going to tell him I am pretty pissed. He will likely say "some people don't see real results for 6 smonths" or some crap like that.

Optimistically, I still hope for the promised, miracle long term result of scar reduction. But right now, I feel like I was scammed.

I wish I read this forum before I went in, because whoever said you should get a guarantee before you plunk down your $$$ was right.

I hate it. Im fifteen and I started out with mild acne and after four treatments I have burns, big red scars (not ice pick) and worse acne. Dont waste your money theyll ruin your life. Well, at least it ruined mine.

I have only had one smoothbeam laser treatment and I think that it has worked wonders so far. I have had acne since I was about 12 and I am now 19. Immediately after the treatment I noticed smaller pores and a decrease in breakouts. I will be going for my second treatment soon and cannot wait. I would recommend it to anyone. I pay 400 dollars a treatment and I definitley think it's worth every cent.

I have suffered from acne for 5 years, tried every topical lotion cream and they all seemed to do the job but they only prevented acne from coming out, and we allllll know that no matter what you do, if you suffer from acne nothing can completely cure it.
I finally was fed up, and told myself i need to find an extreme measure that doesnt mess up your internals, and is the safest and most effective procedure, and i found it. I dont want to get anyones hopes up because maybe i was just lucky, or maybe it wont work after the results i have had but.....SMOOTHBEAM IS THE GREATEST THING EVER CREATED.
I payed $1,600 for 5 treatments of smooth beam which also include 5 treatments of Vbeam. VBEAM is amazing, and i have never seen such results in anything i have seen. i cannot belive this i really cant. ohh my goodness. its been 4 days since my first laser treament, and every day i wake up to clearer skin, my whole face is not red, my face has never been smoother and i really really cannot believe these results. had a decent case of acne and my parents had my sister and i on the smoothbeam 7 treatments each and $4,000 each later the lasers did nothing for our acne and now a year later the acne is worse then ever. dont waste your money its just another hoax

The smoothbeam laser just like any other laser was designed and proven to work,however it all depends on whom performs the treatment and how agresive they are. You have to be willing to have some down time such as swelling, bruising and redness in order to see some results and most of the time more than 5 treatments are necesary.

My name is Thomas, and I am looking for a treatment center that uses the Aramis Laser. The only place I can find in California is Celibre. They seem like they can do a very good job, but the treatments are very expensive ($550 /treatment).

Would anybody happen to know a laser center that is less expensive? Any help or input would be appreciated!!!!

I had smoothbeam 5 days ago, it hurt a lot!
the next day i had blisters on my chin and forehead, like I have been scratched by a cat. I hope they dissapear soon, but meanwhile I look awful. Has anyone had this same effect?
