Pros I have sensitive skin, so I am prone to hives. The butter helps moisturize my extremely dry skin, and leaves the skin to a natural radiance. It fades scars, and smooths the skin's surface. It absorbs really well into the skin.
Cons If it is used excessively and in large amounts, it can clog the pores. A little goes a long way. Give it time, your skin may have an initial reaction to it, but that is not uncommon. You have to be consistent in whatever you use for your face.
Bottom line This product is nature's answer to beautiful and healthy skin. If you want to more pampering, try using UNREFINED soft black soap as a cleanser. That helps the skin at a faster rate. Once you use this, thats all you'll ever want to use.

Pros Amazing butter that can be used everywhere on the skin and also in the hair and scalp..It clears up spots gradually and reduces bumps if you don't over-do it. Has a pleasant nutty smell and isn't expensive at all. Great sunscreen.
Cons Can tend to be really oily. If you overdo it, it may lead to more pimples. So it's best to use a small amount and rub it on your face..A little goes a long way.
Bottom line Amazing..can't beat it at all. Use everyday! I love that I just started it about two weeks and already I have seen scars disappear and spots are fading, my skin tone is evening out where the acne was and the pimples have vanished..This is a God sent product..I definitely say Go Get It NOW!!

Pros Isn'y greasy like Vitamin E lotion
Cons Nothing really
Bottom line Dry up my whiteheads unlike Plamer's Vitamin E. My scars looks light on the first day. I was shock how fast it work. Well I use shea butter with Aloe Vera lotion, so I don't know which one is working

Pros I used it for the first time last night and I was amazed! I had put too much on (first-time user), but after about ten minutes, it started absorbing into my skin fast. the package said your skin drinks it up, i didn't know they meant that literally!
Cons feels a little greasy at first
Bottom line if you have dry, flaky skin from retinoids, cetaphil isn't going to cut it. I used to wake up and have to use a heavy-duty microdermabrasion scrub to get all of the skin flakes off. today i just used the st. ives gentle formula and they rolled right off with almost no effort.

Pros It softens my skin. I have an acne scar problem and i notice that it's clearing up little by little, but it works.
Cons It makes my skin really oily, but i just wipe it off.
Bottom line It's the best! I use 100% pure shea butter.

Pros it's cheap!
Cons it takes about 10 minutes to rub into your facial skin
Bottom line i've only been using it for 11 days but it seems to be workin. i'm using it for acne and dry facial skin. at first my skin started to feel rougher. it was like it was bringing all the clogged pores to the top. but the roughness is starting to go so that must mean it's clearing up maybe. i apply it as soon as i've had a shower or wash to dripping wet skin. with your hands still wet put some shea butter on the palm of your hand and rub both hands together for about 30 seconds(i rub untill my hands start heating up). then just rub all over your face and and keep massaging untill it's completely absorbed. like i said i've only been using it 11 days so i'll get back to ya if things go pear-shaped...if your scared of using it just use on your forehead for the same amount of time i've been doing it to see if it has the same effect. use unrefined shea butter...good luck!

Pros Shea butter works for acne prone skin. I have been using it for about 4 wks. It even softens lines on your face.I used to have horrible skin even after Accutane. It pushed my blackheads/clogged pores to the surface.
Cons I realized that you must exfoliate every other day and use a pure liquid soap(Dr. Bronners)daily. You may have a mild breakout, but then your skin begins to look younger. Drink water, don't eat processed foods.
Bottom line Use pure (yellow) shea butter. Don't eat junk. Shea butter is naturally returning your skin to it's original condition. So why would you make it take twice as long by loading up on processed foods, instead of natural foods? I tried it while eating processed foods, and it did not improve my skin. You will lose weight and have beautiful skin.

Pros it really helps with dry skin anywhere, and helps heal scars fast
Cons once it heals a scar, you think its a miracle substance and start using it on your face. however, if you overdo it, youll just get more pimples. its best just to use a glob on a scar, and not on your whole face, no matter how tempting!
Bottom line buy a little tub of it. you never know when itll come in handy, eben if its not used on you! it can be uset to shine shoes, act as sunblock, heal wounds, and heal scars and scabs. its not good for acne, but its perfect for acne scarring treatment.
