The Regimen success stories

My story is similar to Dans. A course of accutane, and then moderate acne returned a year later.

The regimen has cleared me up 99% (i get the odd small spot now and then) and as a result completely changed my life. I was so Self-conscience of how I looked before and now I have confidence in talking to girls / confidence in my career. I owe Dan a lot, he is a legend.

The only drawback of the regimen is my skin complection isn't great - generally red, sometimes flakey but its definitly worth it for having a spot free face. Maybe in the future my skin will become more used to the BP and i will be less red.

Hi Dan,

I came across your website yesterday night just before going to sleep and started the regimen right away. Now I just woke up and can see the amazing difference! Whiteheads that had been lingering under my skin for like a month on my forehead have just disappeared overnight!!
I sill have some on the cheeks but overall, my face is clearer and the surface is not as bumpy as yesterday night. I can't wait to see the result tomorrow!!

Dan, you are simply amazing! The Ance.org regimen is the ONLY solution to my adult acne problems.

I've struggle with acne since my teenage years. As an adult, I've always had at least 1-5 blemishes on my face at any given time. It would take so long to do my make-up in the morning because I was always desperate to hide the bumps and red marks. The scars were horrific. I also struggled with dry flaky skin, which probably didn't help my problem. I've tried EVERYTHING to help my acne. I've spent so much money on so many different products, yet nothing helped.

I’ll just add my thanks to all the others. I am a 32 year old black woman who up until the middle of 2005 had near perfect skin that was the envy of a lot of people. Out of nowhere it seems I developed acne. It was horrible; my forehead, chin, sides of face...I was so ashamed and embarrasses. I tried urine therapy, tea tree oil (which for me made it worse), antiseptic soaps all to no avail. Then I went to a derm who prescribe Duac and Azeleic acid barely it seems without every really looking at my skin or listening to me. I was worried when she asked if there was something I would like as though *I* was the expert! I discarded the products after a couple of days as I didn't like how it made me feel.
Next I went to a naturopath and spend $$$ on products and acupuncture, i may have seem some improvement, but the cost was too much for me so i stopped that.
By this time I was so sad. I couldn't understand what was happening, and for the first time could relate to people wanting to commit suicide over their skin.
Than I came across you site again. In the past when I'd had minor acne problems, id read about your BP recommendation but when i tried it, i thought it had made my skin worse. Fortunately, my skin at that time quickly cleared up so I never had cause to use BP again. Forward to 2006, I bought the neutrogena and used it liberally like us said. I also stopped the scrubbing, masks, etc. My skin is almost back to the way it used to be, and for this I say thank you.
The bottom line and I do have to keep reminding myself this when some new fancy potion comes on the market, is to keep things simple. My skin does not like being bombarded with tons of product and harsh scrubs. I use dove soap, aloe vera gel as a moisturizer and have a separate face towel I use to dry my face.

My daughter suffered from horrible back acne which covered her entire back. While her face was spared from only the occasional breakout- she had very severe cystic acne on her back. I have used everything for her...short of going on Accutane which I did not feel comfortable using for her. We have also been to numerous doctors with no results.

After a friend was visiting me from Australia... and we were talking. I expressed my concern for my daughter's back problem and she told me about Acne.org website. I ordered the products. I've been on the regimen for 7 months and I don't have the words for how grateful I am that I came across Acne.org. I've fought against acne since I was 13. Your Regimen is incredible. It's been about 2 1/2 weeks and I've gone from worrying about waking up to new pimples, to waking up stoked b/c when I look in the mirror I'm clear.

Visiting this site just over a month ago was the best thing I have ever done to treat my acne, at the time I was going through a really rough patch - I had tried every over the counter product I could lay my hands on, been through all the antibiotics and creams from the GP and my skin was looking worse than ever since i started suffering from acne 7 years ago.

I am currently a sophomore in college and have had minor acne since I was in seventh grade. Nothing major, probably only 3-4 large zits at a time, but enough to make me self-conscious about my appearance. Through highschool, I tried Proactive and Murad Skin care without any results. I just continued to put on makeup and was always aware of my imperfect skin.

During college, the story was the same and I still had mild acne during my freshman year. Not serious enough to go on heavy medication by any means, but still enough that I would put on makeup even if I was going to work out.

Just wanted to give you a BIG "shout out" for your products! My daughter is almost 15 and has had problems with cystic acne for about three years. We have tried Proactiv with some minor changes only to have the acne return after three months. We have also been to a dermatologist, and my daughter was placed on Differin and monocycline. After a month of the burning, stinging, RED, cracking skin, and seeing my daughter in pain, we stopped that program. I found your website by "accident" surfing the web looking at different acne products. Showed the videos to my daughter to see what she thought, and to see if she would be able to follow the steps.
