Dan- Five years. I have been on the regime for 5 years. Every once in a while I will slip up and then end up with a bad break out. But then I get back on track and clear up in no time. It's amazing and my family thinks I'm nuts and addicted to the stuff. But Dan, let me tell you what, I am hot. And best of all, I am not scared to leave my room. Thank you so much! ...5 years!

Hey Dan, before i get on to the Regimen, I just wanted to say thanks so much for creating this neutral and informative website. I feel that I can trust the information, that it has been well researched and has no commercial alterior motives.

I've had light to sometimes moderate acne since my early teens and have been tormented by it during bad outbreaks. I committed all the original sins like washing my face too much, irritating it with too much products - because I thought acne was caused by dirt or "grease" and desperately wanted to have control over it.

I started using the Regimen before but didn't use it properly - i was using the Benzoyl Peroxide as a spot treatment, infrequently and with a harsh cleanser like Clearasil. It made my skin dry and flaky so i stopped using it.

But then after reading through the site properly, a few years later, and understanding the science behind how it works, I started the Regimen again, building up the benzoyl peroxide slowly and using Cetaphil as a gentle cleanser. It took about a month to see results.

And now I've been doing it for about 6 months and for the first time in years, I am comfortable seeing people without make up on. I still have occasional breakouts but they are much more infrequent and much more managable. I catch the inflammation sooner and it is generally less noticeable under makeup. Gradually my skin is getting better and better because I'm getting less breakouts and so therefore there is less red scarring when my skin is clear.

I almost didn't want to write because i don't want to jinx it. But i am continuing to apply a thin layer of benzoyl peroxide every morning and evening, to maintain this.I use a Vichy Normaderm moisturiser, Clean and Clear Oil Blotting sheets throughout the day (because of makeup) and Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup. I've also for the first time been in a position to wear night cream (Nivea).

today something happened that has not happened for over ten years. today is a day I thought would never come.

today I woke up, and looked in the mirror, and touched my skin, and found no bumps, no acne. there are still red marks, but this is more than I could have ever imagined or asked for.

people don't think a simple skin condition can change someone so much, but it definitely can. your product has changed my mind, my mood, and, honestly, my spirit and outlook on life itself.

your regimen worked when nothing else has, not to this degree. and I can't really explain how nice it is to be free of this horrible skin condition.

After many long years of suffering from acne, FINALLY, I can wake up in the morning and see a clear face! I am 34 years old and have suffered from acne since my early twenties. Hi Dan. A few months ago, I came across your website looking for a cheap, but effective way to fight my acne. I got acne when I hit puberty in 6th grade, and I am now in 9th grade as a freshman in highschool. During my 3 years of acne, it has kept me back from living that part of my teenage life as much as I had wanted. I was always seeing people with much nicer skin, and most of them had clear faces. The ones that did have acne, they werent as bad as mine. On Monday, September 15th, 2003 I printed out your list of supplies and had my mom go shopping for these products. Since then, I have been applying it to my face and following your instructions. It is now Friday, September 19th, 2003 and my skin is imporving already! Most to all of the redness is gone in my existing pimples, and my skin is looking all around better! I also dont know if it is the toning of these products that is toning my scar to the color of the rest of my skin, or if it is the products helping the scars, because they are looking better too! I am so thankful for your kindness of deciding to share your success with fellow victims of acne, because if it was not for you, I doubt I would have ever found anything that would have worked for me!

Dear Dan,

Thanks for giving me control over my acne. I am 42 and have had annoying uncontrollable acne since I was 19. Over these years I have tried natural skin products, antibiotics, topical creams, differin, and in my late thirties, over 2-3 years of roaccutane prescribed by my dermatologist. Although my acne settled under roaccuate, the side effects were intolerable, including raw lips, aching bones and dried out eyes. To make it worse I wear contact lenses.

I started your regimen around two months ago after looking on the internet to lear more about differen. I dumped differen and went out and purchased Cetaphyl soap and moisturiser and PanOxyl 2.5%. Although there was a flair up and reaction in the first week, once it settled I have gone from strength to strength. I get one or two stubborn pimples but the majority of my face is clear particularly around my chin area which was my problem spot. I feel in control and confident for the first time in over 20 years. I am a 26 year old Asian male who had suffered from acne for 15 years. It is with great happiness that I share this amazing acne clearing experience with you. Thanks to Dan and his regime.

Subsequent to mild acne since 11, I started having very severe breakouts from 13 or 14. I was on accutane for about five years on and off, three months being the longest interval. During the course of medication, my acne built up its tolerance against accutane all the way up to 80mg/day. At the time, I was 17 weighing around 135lb.

Unfortunately, moderate acne gradually returned about a year after I went off the pills. Being emotional and desperate, I tried just about everything available for treatment. It was literally a dead end for me. I couldn’t find anything effective. My face burned, itched, and flaked. I always had at least ten pustules with multiple red/brown spots….and severe white and black heads.
