The Regimen success stories

Nine months ago my acne went from being annoying(a few, meaning 2-3 on my face near my ears) to servere. i had acne that changed the shape of my face; my jaw line, neck, chin, forehead etc...huge cyst that hurt my face. i never had acne growing up but i started getting more in my 20's and by my late 20's acne ruled my life. i hid in my home for 3 months. i did NOT leave my house!! my life was ruined! accutane was my LAST resort because i had tried EVERYTHING from otc, perscriptions to expense stuff. have y'all read the info packet on accutane? scary sh*t and no thanks! everyone had an opinion on MY face. raw diet, meditation, hormone therapy, etc...last thrusday i logged on to look for another cure and came upon your site. what the hell, why not try bp 2.5%. now, i feel silly writing this e-mail because i'm an extremely private person, but i think by writing this and letting others read a little of what i have been through i'm healing more and more each day. i sh*t you not folks...last thrusday i bought bp 2.5% and today is wednesday. in less than a week my face has cleared to the point where i'm still in shock. $7 of white crap in a tube is clearing my face! what the hell?! now, my face is reddish and peeling a little but ALL good stuff! have you read the guide line for what your skin is; dry/sensitive, oily/impure and combination? well my face seemed to fit all of them it just depended on what time of the day it was, so finding products that would not make my skin worst was tough. let me say it again, less than a week and my skin is looking great! not perfect, but to the point where it does not take 2 hours to get ready, more like 20 mins. thank you dan!

I have been using the Bp for around 3 weeks now and i feel fantastic!
i still have a few pimples an my face but it is nothing compeard to what it was!!
i feel alot more confident and just all in all great!
Because i have very sensitve skin :S i was really worried about starting using the bp....Did you know that Bp is used in hair dye???
I started using it slower than Dan had said to, for the first week i only used Bp once a day and then slowly worked up.
my mum brought me some bp produce of the internet (I would have gotten Dans produce but it costs ALOT to ship things out to Iceland) its called Panoxyl Aquagel 2.5%. Works like a charm!! i also use Panoxyl Aquagel wash 10%. Only use a pea size amount in the morning and evening. Moisturisers from the Body Shop are great! i use mango body butter for very dry skin on really dry places on my face(I am a skier and my face is regulary exposed. the mango body butter is quite shiny) and Q10 Moisturising day cream.
I told my friend about this product, but she found it a bit to long to put everything on in the morning and her makeup, She found a really good product caled Zinerit. You can only get it at the doctors (Lucky her her dads a doctor)- this has not compleatly cleard her up but she is now a totally new person, and lookes great!
I can not wait till my 8 weeks are up and i can show my face totally clear to the world with a big smile on my face!

Dear Dan, I have been following your acne routine for about 6 months now. Never have I been so free of (some painful) breaking out. NEVER. First I had teen age acne, then adult acne, and then dermatologists diagnosed it as rosacea. I will never go off this routine. IT WORKS !!!! THANKS SO MUCH........ By the way, I am 58 years old.

heyy dan! thank you soo much for this regimen! i have suffered with acne for years, and i tried everything. seriously, i was almost going to go on birth control for my acne against my parents wishes, thats how desperate i was! then, i made a post about acne on another board and they said to try your regimen. i knew this stuff had to work, since it seems like you know what youre talkin about! well, you do! i bought everything yesterday morning, and my skin is already clearing up! i couldnt find the recommended face wash, so i bought the neutrogena transparent bar soap, since that helped my brother with his acne. your regimen is amazing! i hope the results keep getting better. im just soo surprised that i saw results in less than 24 hours! my overall complexion has improved, and there are much more smooth areas on my skin now. i cant wait to show my family at our christmas party now! thank you for giving me more confidence. im truly amazed!

I just wanted to thank you so much for your great advice on your site.

I have had very bad teenage acne for the past few years, and it has been getting increasingly bad up until the past 3 months.

I developed an anxiety disorder out of it, and just felt that I looked like shit. I didn't want to go to class, I didn't want to go out with girls, I was just depressed.

I started your regimen 3 months ago, after putting my face through hell with Retin-A, Differin, and a cocktail of antibiotics. I was completely obsessive with the regimen. I followed it precisely and used a lot of BP. I don't think I missed an application of it once. Even when I would stumble home drunk I made sure to gently rub that stuff in.

My face is 99.9% clear today, with an isolated pimple every few weeks or so. The red marks are finally fading away and my skin is so smooth.

I live in Minneapolis, and one of the top modeling agencies in town actually asked me to become one of their models, just off the street. I did my first photo shoot yesterday and got to work with this gorgeous model! sweeeeeeeeeet.

I have so much confidence now, I ran for vice president of one of the top organizations at our university and won that too! I am making the transition from being shy and reserved to big man on campus.

My life is great now, and I feel that I owe a lot of it to you.

I just wanted to say, "thank you" to you and your company.

I've been a bacne sufferer on and off since my teens. I have been through two rounds of Accutane, Photodynamic therapy, Isolaz, Epiduo perscribed with a BP Wash (stripped my skin and scarred it to the core) and all along, oral antibiotics. I don't want to go on Accutane again since I would like to start a family soon, the oral antibiotics I was given by my dermatologist most recently were not intended for long-term use, I was at the end of the line. I have to be in a strapless wedding dress in three months. After two months of using the cleanser and BP from Acne.org, I am finally clearing. The scars left from the Isolaz were horrendous. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you.

For years I have struggled with constant, annoying, and unsightly bacne. I thought the best way to fight it was to wage all-out war. I can't begin to tell you how greatful I am that you have shared your secret with the rest of us. Like most other people I've done it all but stopped short of perscriptions and Accutane. This doesn't mean that the severity of my acne was all in my hmind. My problem was I didn't have the health care coverage or financial means to get prescriptions. I spent much of my time experiementing unsuccessfully. Every single time I thought my face was clearing a family memeber would say 'are you using anything on your face to treat your acne?' Eventually you grow tired of hearing about it....

So, for six years I suffered with dozens of fail regimens and during that time I began washing three times a day because I noticed marginal improvements. However, my face became extremely oily and unbearable. I looked like I was sweating half the time and it made me more self-conscious than the acne. However, if I stopped washing that third time my face got worse...that was the cycle.
