Hi Dan,

Thought I would send my thanks from the other side of 'the pond'. I am 27 and started to break out with acne about 18 months ago. It was upsetting as I had always had very clear skin even through my teens.

I had tried several products but the problem seemed to worsen. I was eventually put onto antibiotics for 2 months. This made no difference. I then found this website out of desperation. It was a little difficult to find the equivalent products on the British market but I tried to find items with similar ingredients. I now use a gentle Neurogena Clear Skin Facial Wash, followed by Neurogena Oil Free moisturiser (now used before I apply the Benzoyl Peroxide to avoid dryness). Within a matter of days my skin started to clear up. I have now been using the Regimen for nearly 6 months. It's been fantastic and people comment on how nice my skin is. I do get the very occasional spot but I can now easily cope with that! I'm off on a holiday to Italy tomorrow and will feel confident to go without my make-up and catch some rays.

i just wanted to post a thank you and words of encouragement to anyone thinking about trying dan's regimen. i'm 26 and have had acne since i was 9. i was given any medication they could think of, and nothing. in high school i was on accutane 3 times. it worked but after 6 months each time it was back, not to mention the severe side effects i suffered (it put me into a severe depression, caused joint problems, and massive weight loss). ever since my face has been on and off. i was back on bc, which was working alright, but recently had to stop taking it due to other medical issues. so i was back to square one. i randomly came across this site and decided to give the regimen a shot using the neutrogena cream. in less than 4 weeks my face was clear and smooth and has stayed as much.

thank you so much, dan, for taking the time to share what you've discovered with the rest of us. this is a doable, non-extreme yet very effective way to take care of a traumatizing and socially debilitating condition that so many people have to deal with. i share what i've found here with anyone who has problems with acne, and i wish you the best and my gratitude. it's true that just one person can make a difference in anyone's life. it may be "just acne" to the outside world, but if you've suffered you understand what a big deal this really is. thanks!!

I also want to thank you for continuing to be philanthropic and listening to acne sufferers, despite the fact that you have cleared up your acne and do not need to be here, but are doing it out of the kindness of your heart. I am a high school student, and this semester I wanted to have a great time but I was afflicted with acne I had never had. I struggled the whole way through with azelaic acid, salycilic acid, sulfur, and other home remedies. I feel I should add my voice to the growing list of testimonies to the success of The Regimen. I have battled with obstructive acne since my early forties. In the past two-years, it has become much worse and caused me deep distress, turning a formerly-sociable man into a virtual recluse. Simply nothing I have tried has ever touched my acne, other than to alter its character and distribution.

Having tried the full range of products and prescription treatments available here in the UK, I pretty much thought I would be left in a reclusive, sorry state well into old age. Five-weeks ago, though, I found your site, by chance, and, although skeptical, decided to try your approach. I have substituted the face wash for Neutrogena's mask / wash, which I use morning and night, teamed with a high-strength BP gel and hyperallergenic moisturiser. Apart from this, I follow your routine exactly.

I am amazed by the result. Former redness and damage has sloughed-off and my skin simply no longer blocks-up. Even Differin never achieved this. Following the regime, it has taken about two-weeks for my skin to respond, but I am now at the end of my third week of being blemish-free.

My obstructive acne cycle seems to be managed in a way that I really never thought possible, and that no dermatologist has ever suggested was possible. I feel able to face people again, and have allowed myself to socialise with friends and colleagues. Everyone notices the rapid change in my demeanour and my appearance. It's an incredible turn-around for me, and I hope, sincerely, that other sufferers will find relief with your systematic approach. I am lucky in that my skin is particularly resilient and has not scarred. It seems able to cope with harsher products than many could perhaps tolerate, so I recommend that anyone reading this, and thinking of using the harsher products which I have chosen to include in the regime, should do so with the aid of careful testing before full-on use.

I cannot thank you enough for sharing your findings with fellow sufferers. If you are able to turn your site into a sideline with a level of financial profitability for yourself, good for you. You absolutely deserve to find reward for your kindness and your initiative and hard work.

I have always had pretty bad acne, but last fall it became uncontrollable. At any given time, I had 5-10 large cystic pimples on my cheeks, and they were painful, sometimes making it hard to even eat. When one healed, a new one would pop up somewhere else on my face.

I tried a lot of unsuccessful products before I found acne.org. I bought the regime kit and began using it in November of 2011.

Within a month, I noticed a huge difference. The new acne was not popping up anymore, and the ones that existed were healing. I regrettably deleted my before pictures. Every time I looked at them, I got a little emotional. I wish I hadn't, because the difference is so dramatic. It has been about six months, and I still use the regime daily. Other than the occasional pimple sneaking up when I fall asleep with make up on (bad!), and haven't had a single breakout.

I started your regimen about a week ago. At first I was not seeing the results I wanted because I was rubbing my back with a Loofah mitten.

Big mistake there! I watched your video and noticed you weren't using a cloth or any type of sponge and the way you dried off your back was kind of funny. PAT DRY! So I stopped using the Loofah mitten and began to PAT DRY with the towel. I followed your instructions to the 'T' and got incredible results!

Just wanted to say thanks for showing the regime process on your site. I'm 35 and after 7 years of visiting a doctor and using prescription medicine (Vitamin A and other stuff), I still always had about 5 big heaters on my forehead at any one time. I tried your system. It took a week for everything to go away. I had some flaky skin but that went away too. Plus, I just used local products from my drug store and saved 80% compared to prescription medicines. My face and forehead are completely zit free now. First time since I was 12! Bloody amazing.

I have been plagued by all types of acne in my beard and especially on the edges of my beard in the neck area for years. The severity increased in the last several months and I was starting to freak out. I had begun to carry concealer in my pocket and let me tell you...as a guy that's an embarrassing thing! I went on a search and quickly found your site. Well, I ordered your products and have been using them a little over a week just how you said to and guess what? The deep knots in my beard are gone...yes, gone. My wife continues to compliment on how well my skin looks and I can't believe it every time I look in the mirror. I wake up everyday with fear though...feeling my beard expecting another place under the skin...but nothing. I don't know if it is the cleanser, the bp, or the change in the way I am shaving. I have a feeling it is a combination of all the above...but I don't really care! Whatever it is...it works!!!
