The Regimen success stories

I just turned 50. I have had "problem" skin since the 4th grade. My mother was a "picker" and I became one too. My dad said all kids have these problems (he never did) and refused treatment of any kind for me while I was under his roof. I spent 20 years and probably thousands of dollars going to dermatologists when I could afford it myself. I have used Comet on my face. I used retin-A when it first came out and was industrial strength. I didn't need a Halloween mask that year. Nothing helped much and nothing for long, not even hard-core anti-biotics. Well, nothing until now. I have only been on your program for a week and it's amazing. I have several large cysts, but they are healing much faster than usual, and some look like they won't even leave the usual deep scars. I have some new eruptions, but they are small and not nearly as red and angry as usual. Most importantly, I have hope. I feel better about myself. When I look in the mirror, I reach for the concealer I constantly carry in my pocket, but have found I don't need it as much as before. Is that me? Now that I'm being kinder to my skin, it's being kinder to me! I have ordered your products, I plan on using them from now on. thank you. thank you. thank you.

Dan- Just wanted to thank you profusely and share with you my story. I'm 25 have been on Benzaclin since 16; when my prescription coverage lapsed earlier this year I was no longer able afford the medication ($270 for a 50mg batch...absurd.) I would experience the occasional zit while on Benzaclin, but for the most part it kept my skin clear, smooth and acne free. Naturallly I started to relapse after a few months without it. By the 3rd month it was no longer bearable. I washed dilligently, my sister had some leftover Differin and I tried to used that for over a month, to no avail. I started looking for answers and came across your site. Truly a godsend. It's like you've 'open sourced' this problem. I began your regimen using over the counter products...This helped reduce the size and frequency of my acne. When your products came in the mail.....dramatic results. Its only been a day (yes, one day) so things haven't yet completely cleared, but my face feels soothed, calm, and pain free, and I can see the healing taking place. A source of immense anguish is gone. . . Look forward to being able to report back in a month or so with a totally cleared face.

Growing up I always had terrible skin - pink, irritated, very bad acne. I'm 23 now, and over the course of these acne-prone years I've been on every dermatologist-recommended prescription, from Differin and Retin-A to antibiotics, and eventually microdermabrasion and mild chemical peels. My older sister had bad skin as well and went on Accutane while in high school; shortly after ending the cycle she was hospitalized for diabetes, and the doctors suggested the Accutane may have been a trigger. Because she felt the drug was so dangerous, she never wanted me to take it. As I graduated from college, I started to look for other solutions outside of the dermatologist's office, since my insurance didn't cover dermatology visits. I continued to use a glycolic acid product and a moisturizer from a popular makeup brand - oil free, etc. However, I still had breakouts and my face was consistently red. I didn't even mind the breakouts as much as the redness - it was impossible to cover with natural-looking makeup, and any makeup would have faded midday. Finally I found your regimine - and it's working! I'm hardly breaking out anymore, and my skin tone has become almost normal. Makeup is no longer a necessity. The dryness is a bit bothersome, but I'll start using the Eucerin moisturizer soon and that should help. Acne is such a sensitive topic; I'm glad you approached it in this way. First off, I just want to applaud Dan's excellent regimen. I have had awful acne since I was 13 years old. Nothing ever worked. Not the stuff I got off the drugstore shelf, nor the medications my dermatologist prescribed me. I had given up hope; nothing would ever work for me. I had come onto this website for a few years but had never actually given the regimen a shot. One day I thought "Aw screw it. It's not like my face could actually get worse" and ordered the travel sizes. A dew days later, little did I know, my confidence had arrived in 3 little bottles. I eagerly started the regimen. The first few day's were not as painful as I thought they would be. At worst my skin was a bit irritated and flaky, just like Dan said it would be. Following week, I broke out a little on my forehead, but I pushed through. Now, I am left with blemish-free skin! Sure I've got a few red marks left, but even those are disappearing.

I'm so happy now. I can actually leave the house without having to put makeup on! I actually just came back from my beach vacation. I cannot tell you how great of a feeling it was going out in the sun (and uhm, meeting cute guys!) without a face full of foundation and concealer.

I just wanted to say thank you for making your regimine available to the world. I have been using your regimine since about 2002 and I can't imagine what my life would be like if I hadn't found it. I have had severe acne since I was 13 and I am 33 now. Before the regimine I was too embarassed to face the world and there were days where I really didn't leave the house because of my acne. The regimine freed me! After I started the regimine I felt confident enough to go back to school to pursue a master's degree and I now have a career where I work with people face-to-face everyday without fear or embarassment.

Daniel, I've been using the new AHA product about a week and so far it's doing great. The texture of my skin looks so much better and I haven't had any reactions to the product. That was my biggest concern because I have sensitive skin and if I use something new I find out pretty quick if it's not something I can use. I can't use moisturizer (I'm 55 with oily, sensitive skin) so it serve two purposes for me. Thanks and keep up the good work!!!!

Hey, Dan - Thanks for this amazing website - I'm 31 years old and have mild to moderate acne since age 12. I did Accutante twice - at 17 and 25. After the second round, my acne started gradually coming back, and though it wasn't too bad, I was just fed up. I went back to the dermatoligist, who prescribed Retin-A and an antibiotic (for the 100th time). I tried these for a few months, saw no improvement, and hit the web looking for answers. I found your site and started the regimen back in November. I saw immediate improvement - my skin began clearing up, and has gotten better and better, and it has been three months since I've had a single pimple. I have tried almost every single product on the market for acne care.

Disappointment after disappointment, I felt hopeless. My friend suggested that I try your "treatment" because that is the only thing that worked for her. Thinking that this was like every other product someone has tried to lure me in to buying, I thought: "What do I have to lose?”

I'm now 33 years old and have tried everything from Accutane to oral and topical antibiotics to special birth control pills, but nothing ever worked well or for very long. I have been on your program for less than a week and my face is already almost completely clear. It's a miracle!
