The Regimen success stories

After 8 weeks on the regimen, my skin is almost perfectly clear! I still have a little light scarring but I've only had one or two pimples in the past month. I started seeing results after 3 weeks and significant improvement after 5 or 6. If you don't see results soon, keep trying - it seems like some people's skin takes longer to adjust.
I use cetaphil cleanser and lotion and dan's bp lotion, but when my cetaphil runs out I plan on ordering the whole regimen. I also use dan's aha lotion which seems to be helping. My skin still gets pretty dry and flaky but its getting better.
I used proactiv for about a year - it worked pretty well - but it started irritating my skin and causing breakouts. I also use bare minerals powder, which is really a miracle product - it evens out skin and covers red spots.
I definitely recommend dan's regimen! it seems to work well for almost all skin types and as long as you follow the steps consistently and are very gentle with your skin, its great!!

About 3 months ago my face just all of a sudden broke out with whiteheads, sores and lil bit of everything else. I immediately went to Wal-mart, and starting buying product, after product, after product. Some of the products worked but soon as one pimple went away two or three more came. I was getting so frustrated with my skin. I didnt want to do anything or go anywhere. And that not like me. I was going to give up and say "oh well". I have had acne ever since I was 12. I went to dermatologist after dermatologist, who always gave me the same things which always resulted in cystic acne. Then I went to a natropath who gave me a ton of supplements and it did nothing to help my acne (it did help other things though!).
I knew it in my heart that whenever i ate too much dairy or wheat or gummy candy I broke out and I tried to find places that agreed with this. No one. They all said: "Don't believe the rumors! Food doesn't cause acne!"
I was about to sign up to do some photofacial, (which is extreme, and not good to do in the summer because it leaves the skin extremely sensitive to any light exposure) when my mom sent me your site in an email. I just rolled my eyes and was like mom, nothing helps. These people they just want money, and to ruin my life more. She said "honey, just look at the site I think you'll like it." Moms are always right!

I looked at the site, read a lot of your advice, and watched all the video thingies. You are SO honest, you have helped so many people and I agree with like everything you say about acne. I am 20 now, it took me 8 years to find someone like you, but it was well worth the wait. Hey Dan, and acne.org crew,

I was really happy when I got your reply on my asking about moisturizers some months ago. You said that I had to use it after BP even if the weather here in Indonesia is hot and humid, and I followed your words.

I got into the regimen for some days and then I was off to New York for about two weeks. I used a lot of BP during my time in NYC (and didn't forget to apply moisturizers as well), and my skin was definitely red, like when I got sunburns. I was a little bit worried about it, but I continued my regimen, even when I was already back in Bandung.

My skin definitely cleared up. I can see it through my pictures (before going to NYC, which is before the regimen, and after, which is about 1 months after regimen). I didn't stop the regimen, but honestly after browsing through some websites, I got a little bit scared about the BP causing cancer issue. I didn't stop it though, just tried to use it a little bit lighter during AM. After some weeks, when I am confident that my skin won't break out anymore, I only use my moisturizers during AM, BP + moisturizers combo during PM.

I got some zits again about two weeks ago and now I am on my full regimen once again. It's probably because I was careless about my skin treatment for the last weeks, I was busy with my exam. But you know what, after horrible Accutane experiences, I am really happy to find Acne.org regimen! It's a miracle for me. I never know I can clear my skin with over the counter products, inexpensive ones compared to going to dermatologists. I thought I had to go to dermatologists once every two weeks for my entire life!!! I've been spending years and lots of money for skin treatment!! This is my dream come true. Hi Dan. A few months ago, I came across your website looking for a cheap, but effective way to fight my acne. I got acne when I hit puberty in 6th grade, and I am now in 9th grade as a freshman in highschool. During my 3 years of acne, it has kept me back from living that part of my teenage life as much as I had wanted. I was always seeing people with much nicer skin, and most of them had clear faces. The ones that did have acne, they werent as bad as mine. On Monday, September 15th, 2003 I printed out your list of supplies and had my mom go shopping for these products. Since then, I have been applying it to my face and following your instructions. It is now Friday, September 19th, 2003 and my skin is imporving already! Most to all of the redness is gone in my existing pimples, and my skin is looking all around better! I also dont know if it is the toning of these products that is toning my scar to the color of the rest of my skin, or if it is the products helping the scars, because they are looking better too! Dan, thank you. I have suffered with acne since I was 16 years old. It was horrible. I spent SO MUCH MONEY trying different products at the store and from infomercials (Murad and Proactive which did not help at all). I went to several doctors and dermatologists and spent thousands of dollars on different creams and lotions and pills and nothing worked. I tried everything. EVERYTHING. People would say "ew whats wrong with your skin, dont you wash your face?" and i wanted to be like "yes I was my Fn face!!!!!"..... Every year my new years resolution was to finally find a way to have clear skin. When your kit came in the mail a few days later I started the regimen exactly how you said to do it in your videos. I'm not going to lie, it was a huge battle. It turned out that the moisterizer does not agree with my face, so since I have switched to Olay Complete with SPF 15 and stick with your cleanser and benzyol peroxide it works like a charm! Well, I had to hang in there, but this product has definitely worked me.
I never had acne as a teen, but developed it as an adult. Every week I'd develop a swollen pimple that would eventually come to a head on my chin but just as it would disappear, another would begin. I had no luck getting rid of them. I had read about another product that was to help, Olay Daily Thermal, and tried it. My skin reacted violently and I had several, painful cyst pimples. It was terrible and I hated to get up in the morning only to see that things were worse.

I decided to do some research (again) online and that's when I found acne.org. I wanted to let you know that there were several things that made me want to try the product right away and thought you might want to know:

1) Your personal story acne story
2) A detailed list of alternatives (this really sold it to me--your method must really work if you are actually helping folks who might not even be using your products)
3) Your personal story about why you have chosen to make all you have learned about acne your work/to help others.

I initially used the suggested alternatives. I followed the Regimen and could see some improvement. I could not find clear BP, so I had to use a cream that was sticky and very flakey. Feeling as positively as I did about your website, I decided to order the kit. What did I have to lose?

Things moved slowly for me and it took 2 months to experience clear skin (with a very tiny pimple appearing every now and again--these are never huge and clear up quickly). I thought many times about giving up.

If I could only use one of your products, I would select the Treatment as you can load it on without it caking—there just isn’t anything on the market like it.

The amount included in the monthly 8oz bottles is not skimpy—I never felt like you were trying to include only there minimum. Your product is excellent as is the customer service.

Hi Dan. Thank you so much for figuring this out. My skin is perfectly clear in one week, just a little dry. I have had acne for 11 years and at times it was completely covering areas of my face, chest, and back. I was on Accutane for awhile but I was one of the few that didn't have much success. Anyway, I just started graduate school and the stress and excitement caused my skin to break out terribly about 2 weeks ago. I came across your website about 2 months ago. I have oily skin, and moderate acne with 1 or 2 bad blemishes and moderate rosesea under my eyes. I have dealt with this for 15 years. I have been through all the antibiotics and topicals, and was on the verge of accutane.

I started with the on-the-spot for a week until I got your BP gel.
