The Regimen success stories

I started the Clear Skin Regimen after using proactiv. Proactiv worked for a while but it did little good. My sucsess starts on a lovely thursday evening in July. My mom had come home from work with a stack of papers telling me that i should try your regimen, what did I have to lose?. I hate that phrase. Everytime, you get all worked up about a new solution, even though you told yourself doing so was a mistake. Then having it collapse on top of you making you feel even more hopeless. I tried it anyway, beacause I had nothing left short of Acutane to try. Three days in I was stunned. Most of my acne was either gone, or was withering away. Then two days after I got hit hard. I was so mad, not only had it come back it was worse. The next day I visited the site for myself. I found a page that my mom didn't bring home, the what to expect page. I found that my outbreak was to be expected. So far I am stunned as to how acurate that page has been as far as a timeline. Just today, I had to go to a school function, and one of my good friends said they almost thought I was someone else, because of how different my face looked. I can't explain how good that made me feel. I also can't wait to actually to go to a party instead of finding a way out. I have now been using the regimen for about two weeks, and can't wait to see even better results. I prayed for five years for GOD to fix my face, and then he sent me you. Thank you sooo much.

I wash with a Cetaphil soap bar, pat dry my face, put the Neutrogrena On-the-Spot 2.5 % Benzoyl Peroxide all over, wait 5 minutes, and then put on a light layer of Cetaphil moisturizer. I do this in the morning when I wake up and again when I go to sleep.

Supplement this with changing my pillowcase regularly, drinking 3-5 glasses of water a day, washing my hands often (I'm a face toucher) and regularly cleaning off my cell phone with a kleenex and some windex (those things are bacteria magnets!)

Voila! A clear face for the first time since puberty. I can't believe that I don't have to wake up and run straight for the cover-up anymore. I threw half my makeup away last week.

Hi Dan, I wanted to drop you an email and say 'thank you'. I was browsing the Internet back in early January looking for remedies for acne. I had have had mild acne since my late teens (I'm 28 now) but all of a sudden I had a rather severe breakout underneath my mouth. I was horrified. My company's biggest sales meeting of the year was the next week and I was slated to meet several Vice-Presidents. Thankfully I was doing a ton of reading and came across your website. My story is much the same as other people's. I thought hmpf...$15 maximum...might as well give it a try and I did. I went to the store and bought the Purpose soap and the Neutrogena cream and watched your video. The NEXT MORNING I noticed improvement. I started your regimen on a Monday evening and by the weekend before the sales meeting, I was virtually completely cleared up. I was astonished and so happy. It's been almost 3 months and I've maintained almost completely clear skin. My face feels much more healthy than it used to feel. I have to tell you that as cliche as it sounds, I used to lay in bed and pray for a cure for acne. I had the small, stubborn pimples that left my face red and blotchy. In between all that I had deep cysts that were painful and incredibly ugly. I used to get anxiety just running my fingers over my face in the shower, feeling all the bumps. I found acne.org and read about Dan's regimen. I ordered the benzoil peroxide product. Within a week, I didn't see any new pimples! My old pimples slowly went away and my skin was clear within a month. That was 9 months ago. A woman in the grocery store line the other day asked me, "Do you mind if I ask what skin care products you use? Your skin is beautiful!" I almost cried. No one had ever complimented my skin before. To those reading this right now and are a bit skeptical (as you should be, because if you are like me who has struggled with acne since teen years and 25 now, you've probably tried everything there is to offer), you might be thinking that you'd waste your time/money and most importantly, actually think this might work for a change. But IT DOES!! I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't want to go out in public or even hang out with friends/girls because I knew once I got to a face to face conversation, they would eventually have to look at my acne and sometimes you'll catch them looking. I needed to take control of my life and be able to do things when I wanted to do them, without having to worry about acne, like how all of my acne-free friends do. I hate acne. If I could rid the world of it, I would and it would make this world a better place. Because let's face it, when you see someone with acne, what comes to mind? You think they're dirty, they don't wash their face, they eat junk and grease, etc.
I started the regime Jan. New Year, New Life. And have seen improvements ever since. Feb. Less breakouts but still there, and now Mar. Hardly any breakouts and even those large cystic ones are going down. Still some red marks, but I know they will go away, it just takes a little time. Watch the videos, they are so helpful. And try not to pick them! Now that my skin is clearer, I notice some of my scars from picking my acne and wish I had more self-control. But believe me I know, it is so embarrassing having a white head plain in sight for everyone to see. If you must, wait until it's ready and just take care of those on the surface, try not to squeeze so hard and those deep ones because they will scar for sure. But your best bet is to leave it alone. Your discipline will reward you in the future. It won't happen overnight so be patient, things will turn out your way. Be GENTLE with your face when you wash too! Running out of space

I am 30 years old and have been suffering from cystic adult acne for about three years. I have always had rogue break outs here and there but after my third child, my face exploded. I tried everything out there and nothing helped. Finally, my acne got to the point where I would cry if I had to leave the house. I had seen this website before, but since I had used and failed with BP products, I passed on your advice. This was a huge mistake~! Greetings Dan! I want to thank you sooo much for letting acne sufferers, such as myself, in on your regimen that has undoubtedly cleared up my skin in less than a week!!!! It was starting to become severe and I'd been having such a problem with my skin for the past several months. But before that I hadn't had a problem since I was a teenager (I'm 25 now). I started getting these horrible painful acne lesions (the deep kind that take forever to heal) and like everyone else, I went to the dermatologist just to be sent away without a resolve. My next step was to try smoothbeam and I told a good friend of mine that I was going to have it done. Well, a week before my smoothbeam appointment, I started the regimen and my friend said to me the following week (assuming that I had the treatment done), Wow, your skin looks great! That laser must really work. Then I told her that I didn't even have it done, I didn't have to go to the appointment! She was shocked and told me to keep up whatever it is I've been doing. I'm a 55 year old male with mild, but irritating acne problems. Since I deal with people often, my complexion problems do impact my comfort level at times... very frustrating!

I found your site yesterday and started the Clear Skin regimen last night. I'm following your regimen as well as your warnings so hope to be able to give you a good report in a few weeks.

I will say that psychologically I'm already feeling better as my first day with BP (am using the Nutrogena On-the-Spot until my bp gel arrives) did not cause much irritation or redness.
