I really have to say thank you.

I am 42 and have NEVER been able to depend on an acne free day since I was about 12. What a drag. I have tried MANY different products, without consistently good results. I have been using your products since August, and what an amazing difference.

It is the most freeing feeling to get up in the morning, and be confident that my skin is going to be clear. I don't have that dread of looking in the mirror wondering what new zit has cropped up while I slept. I feel so much better.

Just wanted to thank you for the great web site on acne. I am 47 and the last few years have really been bothered by forehead welt-like zits. Very, very frustrating - especially since I never had any problems in my teens, 20's, 30's! (I disliked business meetings and social events because of the adult acne - and that was stressing me.) Anyway, your regimen is right on. I am SO glad that you found a manufacturer to make affordable size product of 2.5% BP. (As you state, the commercial 10% is way overly drying - I couldn't stand using that - especially in cold winters.) I started the regimen around June 4th. By the end of June, it was ALL clear! During July, I just stuck with the regimen as a preventative measure. So here it is early August and the regimen is such a part of my daily routine, that I don't think about it. It is so great to have NO zits. Any zit that does begin to show is very minimal and barely visible and gone fast.

Were do i start, I'm a female and I'm 22, i have been suffering with acne since i was 13. I tried everything that was in the high street stores, creams, cleansers spot creams everything!!! i went to the doctors and they gave me creams, pills and nothing worked, i was told to go and see a skin doctor,they gave me cream that burned my skin and made it peel really bad, but funny enough it didn't work.
Everyday i just carried on as normal, i was embarrassed to go out, i hated being in bright lighting and sometimes i would never go out if my spots were really bad!! And so i went back to the doctors and they put me on the pill, which is for acne as well as a contraception. All my big pimples and spots went i just had loads of small spots under my skin which still look horrible, i hated taking the pill because it made me feel sick when i took it. So after 6 years of being on the pill i came off it and then i just gave up hope. I don't have acne anymore but my cheeks are covered in little spots under the skin which look horrible and i had loads of blackheads, and i had the odd red pimple on my face. I stopped putting things on my skin because i knew nothing worked!!
Last week i had enough i was sick of hiding my face under my hair and feeling really crap about myself, i decided to go online and look up laser treatment for my skin. And then this site popped up from nowhere, so i decided to have a read and see what it was about. I read about you and your regime and then i read what other people had put and how it worked!! some of the people who wrote to you sounded a bit like me, at first i thought no way can this work. So i wrote down the gp gel and went to the chemist and bought some, i nothing to lose.
O my god!!!! well after a day my skin felt so soft and less bumpy, i have been using it for a week now and i feel so great!! my skin looks so clear and clean just after a week!!! thank you so much!! u are a saint i feel like me, and how Ive always wanted to be!!!

Dan, I wanted to drop you a line just to say that your treatment really works!!!!!! I have started three days ago and already notice a difference in my face. It feels so good after taking all the steps, and it feels incredibly clean. After going to a dermatologist and he perscribing me meds that did not work, I felt it made it much worse with overdrying, reddness and irritation. I was just wondering if you are a Dr. and if not how did you know what treatment worked for you? Thank you so much for sharing this with everyone who comes across this on the net!!!!!! I can't believe I'm only JUST getting around to writing this note to you. I started the regimen in summer 2009 and the results I've seen are absolutely amazing. I have battled cystic acne since middle school -- on my forehead, my cheeks, and chin. I was on extra strength Pro Activ for about 6 years, which kept my acne controlled but still very obvious and irritated. It worsened extensively when I went on prescription products (and chemical peels) in summer of 2008. Since using your product, my skin has made a full recovery from that...and then some. After the prescription products and chemical peels, I was left with terrible red spots and scarring. Using the regimen and treating the scars with vitamin E oil has literally given me porcelain skin. The regimen really works. My daughter and I have both been using it for about six weeks, I have had mild acne for about 25 years, she has had moderate/severe acne for about 4 years. We have different skin types, but it has worked so well for both of us. It is not an overnight miracle, but if you follow Daniel's instructions and you stick with it, it will work. The regimen has been a real blessing because like so many people we have tried everything out there, from expensive infomercial kits to cheap drug store stuff, and nothing has really worked. All that stuff either clears you up a little, or makes things worse. We will be sticking with the regimen for as long as Daniel keeps making it. The products are also much better quality than what you can buy at the store, and the price is amazingly good. I am also trying the AHA, and I love it too. I was going to buy some from another company that I had tried a sample from, but their AHA was about a quarter of the size of the regimen's, and it was 3 times more expensive. I can honestly say now that I have compared the two AHAs (both are 10%), the regimen's AHA actually feels and works better than the more expensive one. I am so thankful that I found Acne.org, Thank you!

Dan, Thank you so much for starting this community and for sharing your discovery with all of us! I have struggled with acne for over ten years and this is the first time my skin is looking normal. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I wash with a Cetaphil soap bar, pat dry my face, put the Neutrogrena On-the-Spot 2.5 % Benzoyl Peroxide all over, wait 5 minutes, and then put on a light layer of Cetaphil moisturizer. I do this in the morning when I wake up and again when I go to sleep.

Supplement this with changing my pillowcase regularly, drinking 3-5 glasses of water a day, washing my hands often (I'm a face toucher) and regularly cleaning off my cell phone with a kleenex and some windex (those things are bacteria magnets!)

Voila! A clear face for the first time since puberty. I can't believe that I don't have to wake up and run straight for the cover-up anymore. I threw half my makeup away last week.

Where do I start? I am on day 3 of the regimen and my skin has COMPLETELY CLEARED! I have some discoloration from my recent breakouts, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am a skin picker let me tell you and if my face starts to break out, I pick and pick because I don't see an end to the redness. Now not only do I see healthy, moist, and CLEAR skin shining back at me, I see my smile!! There is no need to pick. My skin stays clean all through the day (even with makeup) and all through the night. I highly recommend this regimen. I am 24, a mom of two kids, and I now have not only the skin that I used to have as a teenager, but BETTER! My skin looks great. Thank you so much!

It began with the blossom of terrible skin as I entered puberty at age 12. For years I have suffered with bad skin. In high school I started going to the dermatologist. Several medications and different doctors later I felt I was running out of options. I was so hopeful and relieved when my dermatologist talked to me about Accutane. Finally, the miracle cure I had been waiting for! That was when I was 17. My early 20s found me beginning to have bad skin once again. After the side effects of Accutane (severely dry skin & diminished night vision), I was hoping to not resort to such a drastic measure again. When I was around 24 I started to use ProActiv. At first I thought it was working. It probably reduced my acne by about 10%. I was just glad to see a reduction. Well, after using it for over a year I felt like my skin was not benefiting from it really at all. At 26 I went to the dermatologist yet again (after a 9 year absence). He was the same one I went to in high school. After an awkward encounter I left disappointed that he offered the same "solutions" that hadn't worked in high school. Hadn't this field progressed at all? I started using Retin-A and my moderate acne became severe! I thought it might get worse before it got better, but after 3 weeks my face was enflamed and in pain. It was the worst acne I had had in 13 years! Next I began using birth control. After a couple of months I was again disappointed that no positive change was occurring. My last resort (last I don't know why now) was to use the benzoyl peroxide. After only a week I could feel it working. It just felt like my skin was healing. That was about a year ago. My skin is not perfect today. But it is about 85% clearer than it was than before I began this regimen. I usually use it about twice a day. I have to use moisturizer after each time since I realized it just irritated and dried out my skin too much. Though my skin isn't totally clear, this regimen gave me hope as no other treatment had.
