When I first started your regimen, I was a bit wary. For almost ten years I suffered from moderate to severe acne, beginning at the age of twelve, and have used almost every over-the-counter and prescribed medication out there, including two runs of accutane. Although my acne has improved as I've become older, it still gives me problems and I break out frequently. After using your regimen for over three weeks and following your instructions exactly, I have never seen my skin better. It is almost 100% clear and older scars are fading. I never thought my skin could look so good and I want to thank you so so so so very much for making this happen. You are truly a wonderful person for sharing this regimen with others!

I'm 39 and have recently battled mild to moderate acne for the last four years. From antibiotics to Retin-A Micro to penetrating diode lasers, I've tried most everything. While the laser [Smoothbeam] has had a promising effect on reducing sebum, it was not the magic bullet I thought it was for facial acne. I still had a lesion or two each week probably due to propionibacterium acnes which Smoothbeam does not treat.

Four weeks ago, I stumbled across your site and ordered your product. I really didn't think it was going to work, but I'll try anything once to get rid of such a frustrating skin disease as acne. Over the four week period, I have seen a definite improvement. I still get one pimple per week, but it's usually small. My skin feels better, too. I'm still somewhat skeptical because I've had other treatments work for short periods of time, but if I continue to see great results in the next 3 months, I will consider it a great success story.

Also, I like the fact that you recommend Cetaphil products. I've tried all types of high-end, very expensive cleansers and moisturizers, and inexpensive Cetaphil continues to be the most effective product especially for sensitive, dry or oily skin.

One last note on exfoliation. I've read some message boards and it seems that some users are leaving out proper exfoliation of dead skin. If this is not done, the cell walls tend to stick together eventually blocking and causing the follicle wall to collapse. This can create a plug or even an acne lesion. There are many products that help with facial exfoliation and I use some. However, the most effective process is microdermabrasion. This is a procedure done usually at a dermatologist's office using a medical grade device that removes the outer layer of skin to ensure your pores do not get block. One procedure per month can go a long way to helping keep your face clear. The cost is usually $75 to $100. There are good machines and bad. Here's link that goes into great detail about microdermabrasion. Don't let the site name fool you. It's very informative and unbiased.

I just wanted to say thank you. I have been following this site for many years, but the regime never worked quite right for me, until now. I think I have figured out why.

I finally gave up using a wash cloth to wash my face, I followed the timing recommendations (wait after washing to apply BP), and I bought Dan's products. I discovered the lotions I have been using, and even Dan's lotion, was creating a 5 pm breakout each day, so I switched to Oil of Olay. I read about it in your product guide (I read through all of the posts and discovered there might be an ingredient in all the other lotions I am allergic to.).

Since then, it has been two weeks, I think, I have not had ONE pimple, the red is gone, I am less oily, and, gasp, I did not wear any makeup today. I haven't done that in 23 years! I am 38, and I have had pimples, not severe, but enough to merit attention, since I was a teen. And, really, following your explicit instructions (the washing the hands, the wait-time for applying the treatment and the lotion) really worked. I really appreciate your efforts. And, I think it is great that you have turned all of your work into a business. I hope you continue to be successful.

By the way, I love the cleanser more than anything I have used on my face. It is not drying, and I like how it rinses really well. I really don't need a wash cloth. I also love the gel BP-this is so much nicer than the Neutrogena stuff. It glides on very nicely. I just bought the AHA, but I don't think I need it. My skin looks great!!

My daughter's dermatologist wanted to put her on Accutane, but I was concerned about the side effects. I researched options and found your website.

I am thrilled to report that my daughter's skin has never looked better. (A friend who lives out of town saw her this summer for the first time in awhile, and she said that my daughter's skin looked flawless. Nice compliment!)

I just have to thank you. My acne was so bad that I could not touch my face without it hurting. I have tried accutane, tetracycline, harsh face washes, voodoo... Anyway, your regimen worked. Not only is my acne virtually gone, but my skin isn't scaly and gross. I'm smooth and soft! Thanks!

I was skeptical to try "the regimen" at first. Within the 2nd week my face was so dry I had to resort to using it only once a day and heavily moisturizing (on my already oily skin-type). It took about a month and a half to get completely clear, my face has adapted to the BP. I look so much better and even my red spots from previous ache has gone away!

I came across this website after my dermatologist recommended that I comme Roaccutane treatment as topical medications had little effect on my acne.
