The Regimen success stories

Dear Dan, I have been meaning to email you for quiet some time now, and have finally gotten around to doing it. I just wanted to thank you for your website. I came across it about a year ago when I was feeling particularly depressed about the situation with my face. I was 26 years old then, and I have struggled with acne ever since I was about 13. It wasn't the worst case of acne that I have ever seen, but it was bad enough to cause me embarrassment, and worse yet, it didn't seem to be going away as I got older. I had tried basically everything, and had been going to a dermatologist since I was 16. The only thing that worked for me was Acutane, and then I couldn't stay on it because my body didn't react well to it. When I came across your website, I was very sceptical. But, I thought, I have Neutragena On-The-Spot acne treatment anyway, I might as well try using more of it as the website suggests. I already use Neutragena Oil-Free Cleanser, and a really good moisturizer with sunscreen, so I didn't really have to change my routine too much. I just used more benzoil peroxide, and on a regular basis. IT WORKED WONDERS! It didn't take long either! I actually feel prettier. I don't feel self-conscious anymore, and I often go out of the house without any make-up (something that I would have never done before)! When people ask me what I have done differently, I tell them- and no one believes me! It is amazing how simple the solution is. I feel good knowing that when my daughter (who is only 7 now) starts to struggle with acne, I have something that I can do to help her. I wish that I had taken before pictures, but I honestly did not expect to see such dramatic results. I just wanted to write and say thank you. As silly as it sounds, you have changed my life!

i cant thank you enough for taking the time to post this clear-skin regime online. i have been on menocycline for about 4 years now, and have tried differin, retin-a, and countless over-the-counter products. my last system worked somewhat but was inCREDIBLY complicated. this is so simple and works 10 times better than anything else ive ever tried. i actually have clear, even skin and ive been using it for only a week. its a breakthrough. ive been telling everyone i know :) thank you because i read it just in time for my senior trip to california...granted, i had a lot more fun this way.

Two weeks ago I accidentally stumbled upon your site while I was desperately seeking some acne answers. You and your dedication to this site has changed my life as a whole. Suffering with adult acne for the last 6 years I have searched for someone to get me started on the right regimen. I was using Murad and when that too was failing, I had lost hope...until I found you. My chin and cheek areas have always been the problem. I had small bumps on my chin all the time and they would never go away and sometimes turn in to huge dark cyst. Just days after starting your regimn my face cleared and is continuing to stay clear. Hi, I have had severe acne issues since elementary school, and am now 29 yrs. old w/ little success on any treatments from my dermatologist. I recently became pregnant and thought it was a good idea to try the regimen since I can't take any high-powered medications or antibiotics at the same time. Hi Dan,

I used to have pretty bad stress-related acne that started when I was about 22, right up to 27 - 4 months ago when I tried your program!

I had a little peeling for a week or so when I first started, but I stuck it out and 4 months later my skin is the clearest it's been in 5 years! I don't need to wear makeup anymore unless I _want_ to. No more needing to spend 20 minutes putting on makeup in the morning just to look human! No matter what I do or eat, or how crazy my job is, or how little sleep I'm getting, my skin still looks great. The occasional spot (and I really do mean occasional... wheeeeee!) vanishes within 1-3 days.

I honestly never thought I could have skin like this, and that people who did have skin like this were just 'the lucky ones'.

And best of all, it's so affordable - cheap really! Especially compared to spending hundreds of dollars at a dermatologist for methods that may not work, or if they do, work only in the short term.

Thanks for this site, Dan. Have to admit, having been on strong medications for the past 9 years of my life, that didn't seem to work all that well, I was a bit skeptical about something so simple. But having tried the regimen, I'm absolutely amazed that it actually works really well!!!! I know it's a bit clichéd but it has changed my life. I used to swim competitively but gave up after my skin got so bad that I couldn't stand to be seen without heavy make-up. I started training again yesterday. :o) My disappearing acne has also given me the confidence to pursue a career in Law. Oh, and I was really close to taking isotretonin, but I’m so glad I found this site before I did! I can’t thank you enough.

Well, today is Wednesday and I started the regimen on Sunday! So far I am really impressed. My acne has mostly been prominent on my chin and jaw line and I never had acne problems until I turned 18. As you can imagine I had no idea how to handle it as it was a first time dealing with continous acne. I tried many things, proactive (which dried my skin out too much and resulted in breaking out more)..clinique, many different face washes etc. Nothing worked, I was beginning to think nothing would work. However, I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but I have a good feeling about this sytem, so far the progress has left me thrilled. I will update you in a months time. Thank you soooo much!

I decided to give your skin regiment a try before I made my final decision about going on accutane. I must say its only been three days and I am already seeing an improvement. Hey Dan! I just wanted to say that what your are doing is giving a gift to those of us that are not so lucky to be blessed with perfect skin! After a onset of adult acne caused by homones, according to my dermatologist, I then tried all the products that had empty promises to change my skin, but nothing worked well and nothing made me feel like the product makers really care about people and the condition of their skin! When I watched your step by step video (after browsing acne websites online for hours at a time) you had me at "hey"! Your made me feel like your were a good friend in my room giving me advice on my skin care! And then I thought "well, nothing else is working! This is worth a shot! What do I have to loose?" So I tried it and I am realizing that everything I thought I knew about my face and skin, I did not know! Not only does the regimen work, but it works so well! And I CAN afford it thanks to you! Hi Dan! I know you have tons of these success stories already, but I wanted to add to the huge list to encourage others. I have struggled with cystic acne for about 5 or 6 years. I've been on every antibiotic under the sun as well as lots of other meds. Finally, about 4 years ago I went on Accutane and my acne completely cleared. But, as you know, you can't stay on Accutane forever. The minute I went off of it, my acne was just as bad as it was before. A couple years later I went on Accuntane AGAIN, only to have the exact same reaction when I went off of it for a second time. I had finally resigned myself to feeling like I would just have to live with my acne.

Then, in September, I was so frustrated one day I just Googled "how to clear cystic acne" and found your site. I was so encouraged by your story and all the success stories that I decided to try the Regimen. It took a long time to see steady improvement, but I can honestly say now that my skin is 100% clear! It's a miracle!

My advice to those who want to start the Regimen is to not get discouraged. It literally took 3 solid months of going through the Regimen for me to see results. Sometimes it was so frustrating to be doing everything right, and STILL have bad breakouts.

I would also advise others to use jojoba oil with their moisturizer so that they can avoid the flakiness (my skin flaked really bad with the BP). It works wonders but you kind of feel like a greaseball afterwards. :) As a female, I would also advise the other ladies out there who wear make-up to be aware that your morning routine may take a bit longer than usual since you have to wait for the BP to dry, wait for the moisturizer/jojoba oil to dry, etc. I've had to revamp the way I get ready in the morning (ie, dry my hair while my BP dries, etc.).

STICK WITH THE REGIMEN! Give it a good 3 months of disciplined use before you switch to something else. Don't give up!
