The Regimen success stories

I've had horrible acne for a few years before I finally found this website and tried Dan's awesome Regimen. Gosh, talking about trying many products, I've tried Proactiv, doctors' prescriptions, Dermetologist's suggestions, mom's secret traditional medicine (thank god it's over), and even over the table medicine and other CVS' products... Sadly, none of them worked or stayed working for a long time. However, I unfortunately found this website out and after reading all the materials on it, i've decided to actually give it a try. I also have to mention that one of the biggest reason that helped me decide whether to try Dan's Regimen is the site's community. I reckon, "If it worked for most people here, it might actually work for me". Turns out it did, and right now, pimples are the last thing i worry about bout!

Dan, I cannot begin to thank you enough for sharing your wonderful acne regimen! I am a 39 year old female and have suffered acne breakouts forever! Since my teen years I've tried every product/program and been treated by several dermatologists. Even with the oral antibiotics and harsh creams that caused peeling etc. they never really worked especially considering the cost of the products and physician fees! Needless to say I would go for long periods of time before seeking help with acne treatments. (my faith was gone!) Well, my acne had seriously flared up to the point that two weeks ago I broke down in tears when I looked in the mirror at my complexion. I called that day to make an appointment with a dermatologist and was told the next available appointment was 2 1/2 months away! Feeling very discouraged that I would have to remain embarrassed around my co-workers and family members for the next two months, I decided to search the Internet for advice on acne. The first few web pages were the usual ones trying to sell me their products. When I read your web site I was very skeptical yet very impressed by the testimonials. Within 2 days I was in total shock with the immediate results! The inflammation was subsiding and there was no new breakouts! Two weeks later I am a new person! I am no longer embarrassed. Nor do I feel the need to cover my blemishes with makeup! Thank you for taking the time to share such a simple yet wonderful plan to help acne sufferers like myself!

After having struggled with acne for a decade, my skin had pretty much left me desperate.
Like so many others out there I have tried every available over-the-counter product imaginable. From the affordable products at the local pharmacy to the more expensive products such as Proactiv. None of these seem to have any effect on my skin, and several even made my skin look worse.

I consider my acne to be mild to moderate, experiencing lots of pustules and red marks around my chin area, temples and jawline.

After having tried out yet another product that didn't work, I decided to google acne, to find out what others use, what helps and what doesn't.

I came along dozens of helpfull websites, but none of them could actually help me out as I had tried everything already that was mentioned on those pages.
But then there was acne.org. I read Dan's story, and looked around on the messageboard of acne.org.
I watched all of Dan's video's and read all of the comments given to them, and I immediately felt like this was the place to be for me.
An online community of thousants of people struggling with the same problem as me: acne.

I felt convinced that this Regimen would work for me, and I decided to give it a shot.

In a matter of days I began to see amazing results, this kind of improvement of my skin I hadn't seen in years! Feeling encouraged from these results I stuck it out for a month, 2 months (ordering another batch of Dan's products), and now after allmost 4 months my skin is still completely clear! It's unbelievable but true. My self-esteem has grown exponentially and it changed my life. For that I am truly gratefull. I can live my life again now, without having to worry about my skin looking gross.

I encourage everyone out there with acne problems to try out this Regimen, for me it worked miracles.

I want to thank you, like so many other people out there. You have taken your story and struggle and turned it into a healing experience for so many. I suffered from facial acne for many years in early adulthood that seemed to come from nowhere, though I went through adolescence without any of it, thankfully. I came upon Acne.org, tried your regimen (which you have clearly put hard work into communicating in a clear and non commercial way--your intention to help us comes through in so many ways), and my acne has cleared tremendously.

I always thought of myself as someone who didn't put a lot of value in cosmetic things and valued more on inner beauty. But I can say that my friends and family are happy for me and it's nice not to think about my pimples in the back of my mind when talking to people. I know this is not the first or last thank you you'll be getting, and I don't often leave comments on sites, but I felt compelled to share my gratitude.

Today is the first day since I was 11 years old (I'm 32 now) that my face has been clear of acne. I couldn't believe it when I was putting makeup on this morning - I cried! I started out using the regimen exactly the way you "prescribed" it, but have found that my skin reponds better using the 5% benzoyl peroxide 3 consecutive days and the alpha hydroxy 3 consecutive days.
I've done everything from tetracyline to Accutane over the last 20+ years (that just sounds amazing!).

After 8 weeks on the regimen, my skin is almost perfectly clear! I still have a little light scarring but I've only had one or two pimples in the past month. I started seeing results after 3 weeks and significant improvement after 5 or 6. If you don't see results soon, keep trying - it seems like some people's skin takes longer to adjust.
I use cetaphil cleanser and lotion and dan's bp lotion, but when my cetaphil runs out I plan on ordering the whole regimen. I also use dan's aha lotion which seems to be helping. My skin still gets pretty dry and flaky but its getting better.
I used proactiv for about a year - it worked pretty well - but it started irritating my skin and causing breakouts. I also use bare minerals powder, which is really a miracle product - it evens out skin and covers red spots.
I definitely recommend dan's regimen! it seems to work well for almost all skin types and as long as you follow the steps consistently and are very gentle with your skin, its great!!

Dan, first I would like to thank you and everyone who works on Acne.org to make it a success and helps deliver acne information for people like me who had given up trying to figure out what to buy, what to change, or what to eat to cure their acne.
I am a 21 yr old Asian American who started breaking out horribly after starting nursing school. I was under tremendous stress on a daily basis, had little time to sleep, and lost my appetite oftentimes when thinking about everything I had to do. If you could imagine, these changes probably made me very susceptible to acne (and health problems!).
I've had minor problems with pimples since high school but had generally clear skin. I've been a loyal Clinique customer for years but their salicylic-acid-based formula just didn't do ANYTHING to help with this acne. I went from having smooth skin and rarely ever using foundation to "can't be seen without it."
After switching my face wash regime 4 times (low end to high end) I was about to fork out $70 to get a Murad starter kit but I creatively (yeah right) typed in "acne" in the search bar for one last attempt and found Acne.org. I'm so glad I did!
Your advice (be gentle and don't pick!), the 3-step techniques, and this wonderfully cheap 2.5 Benzyl Peroxide has been the only thing that's given me NOTICEABLE improvements week after week.
I have moderate acne and it took me 4 weeks to be completely clear. My face had waves of breakouts and some peeling before it became clear, so do not be discouraged if yours is breaking out. Now after 4 weeks there's no more peeling, my skin just has dark blemishes left, and it feels really soft. My boyfriend loves that I feel better about my skin and am not wearing so much makeup.
I'm going to try some of that glycolic acid treatment for the dark marks I have left.

I just wanted to say, "thank you" to you and your company.

I've been a bacne sufferer on and off since my teens. I have been through two rounds of Accutane, Photodynamic therapy, Isolaz, Epiduo perscribed with a BP Wash (stripped my skin and scarred it to the core) and all along, oral antibiotics. I don't want to go on Accutane again since I would like to start a family soon, the oral antibiotics I was given by my dermatologist most recently were not intended for long-term use, I was at the end of the line. I have to be in a strapless wedding dress in three months. After two months of using the cleanser and BP from Acne.org, I am finally clearing. The scars left from the Isolaz were horrendous. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you.
